Payments usually go in 3 days after being awarded so most get the payment In the bank before a letter arrives.

I'm 19/06 the wait is so hard!! Hoping I'm not too far off now

Don’t worry, I haven’t heard anything aswell my scan date is 13/06 aswell. Do you know if yours is with DM? Mine went on Tuesday. But apparently the DM gets sent a pile of applications to go through so sometimes it can take a few days. I wouldn’t rely on a text and I will probably call on Friday for an update. Fingers crossed, hopefully we hear some good news. It’s been a long wait and the last hurdle is gut wrenching x

Just thought I'd jump on to say that I received no text but just money in my bank when I woke up today.
Forms scanned on 8th June, awarded this week.
I rang for an update on Friday and hadn't even been sent to a DM.
Fingers crossed to all still waiting, it's a very anxiety enducing time.

PS the DLA for children group on Facebook is so bloody ridiculous, them admin are a bunch of jobsworths 😅

@zoey we rang Monday they said will probably be sent to descision maker next week will probably call Friday

Yep, I’m guessing they don’t want people to jump on posts to ask OPs what their scan dates were. It used to be quite supportive but then admins would pick and choose which posts they’d authorise and it all got a bit messy!

@Jneill2021 im still waiting for coc, but not heard anything yet no texts just 2 letters in June and July, my scan date is 9th June I’m sure yours was way before myn x😵‍💫

I've been lurking on the thread for about a week or so. I've just found a back payment dumped in my bank account. I'm so relieved - I was so worried that I'd be declined.

Scan date of 07/06: I received no text informing me of their decision. Previously I had received 2 letters and 2 texts (last one of 5th September).

I saw someone else had made the same mistake of printing their form off and forgetting to sign it and had it sent back to sign. The back payment I got seems to be from the first date that they received it 05/05 not 07/06.

I've got MRC and LRM for my 8-year-old autistic son. I applied with an EHCP, a diagnosis letter and question 38 was answered by the school SENCO.

Parking myself on the thread for updates, managed to get my 9 year old approved for dla at the start of this year and I only had to wait 13 weeks for the award so waiting this long now is ridiculous!! Currently waiting to hear about my youngest application although I'm not hopeful but fingers crossed!! Scan date is 26/06 good luck to anyone waiting to hear back xxx

My scan date was 17th May when I called and asked, I haven't recieved anything no letter no text I had to call to make sure they recieved everything lol xx
