Snickerdoodles19 · 09/03/2023 10:51

@AnxietyMumma how old are your kids?

Brown2010 · 09/03/2023 10:52

@Snickerdoodles19 this is absolutely crazy 😭 .. would ours be sent to the same place to be looked at im from Northamptonshire x

Snickerdoodles19 · 09/03/2023 10:55

@Brown2010 im not sure mine went to the Wolverhampton office, the lady i spoke to told me that they weren’t looking at any renewals until the last week before they were due to end, it’s terrible isn’t it so I’m going to wait and ring on Tuesday

AnxietyMumma · 09/03/2023 11:16

@Snickerdoodles19 7 and 5, both boys. 7 year old is the one with needs but affecting 5 yar old x

Lodol · 09/03/2023 12:06

I think the waiting time varies on who you speak to and seems to depend on who’s pile it ends up on

Mommax3 · 09/03/2023 12:14

This part is even worse than the long old wait!!
It’s just horrible. Fingers crossed for some decent news 🤞🏻

Patientlywaitingx2 · 09/03/2023 13:16

Wonder if anyone mid December is being awarded yet

DPW89 · 09/03/2023 13:26

My scan date is 16/12 I’m starting to feel so nervous now! Not heard anything yet

MommyToFive · 09/03/2023 13:32

My scam date was 30/11 and has been with a decision maker since last Friday

MommyToFive · 09/03/2023 13:32

Scan sorry

Snickerdoodles19 · 09/03/2023 15:38

@AnxietyMumma i was just thinking that’s all if they were still under health visitor, mine wrote me a supporting letter to say my 2 boys couldn’t share a bedroom as their both special needs but I suppose its changed now as never had to provide dla proof or anything

Proudmum2008 · 09/03/2023 17:08

I've rang today to update with a change in circumstance and been told our claim is now with a decision maker. They updated our claim. Scan date was 7/12/22.

Can I ask where you are based please? Mine is a change of circumstances scan date 4th October and they originally said 22 weeks till it goes to a DM when I rang this week they now said 24 weeks. I’m in Liverpool. Thanks 😊

Proudmum2008 · 09/03/2023 18:54

I'm in Durham. I sent the new claim back in November with 7/12/23 scan date and they just updated it on the screen today by adding a note. It was a change in provision since claim was scanned into the system. She said it was with decision maker so they would see the new note.
Was your change to a new claim or an already awarded claim?

Proudmum2008 · 09/03/2023 19:06

Sorry mean 07/12/22 scan date

Kimmarris941 · 09/03/2023 21:08

@MommyToFive my date is the same as you, the lady I spoke to on Monday said it was with case manager so assuming that’s decision maker, I feel like I’ll be declined for our son but we shall see! I’m in north lincs xx

MommyToFive · 09/03/2023 22:08

@Kimmarris941 I was told my claim was with decision maker since last Friday, the decision maker then rang me a couple days ago and said he would try make a decision by the end of the week, I've got a bad feeling about it. I'm in the west mids x

Ahh sorry I thought you meant you already had an award and had sent off for a change in circumstances. My daughter is currently in receipt of LRcare so I have sent in change of circumstances form to hopefully get awarded mobility.

AnxietyMumma · 09/03/2023 22:24

@Patientlywaitingx2 here you've got to have an OT assessment and a DLA rate of MRC or HRC and only be on a housing band for lacking a bedroom. An actual diagnosis or multiple diagnosing doesn't mean anything here x

Kimmarris941 · 09/03/2023 22:35

@MommyToFive Do they always ring? Or sometimes? I’m not confident anymore after seeing lots of people in a similar position as our son.. fingers crossed we hear soon xx

Supermom92 · 09/03/2023 23:51

AnxietyMumma · 09/03/2023 10:49

Slightly off topic but does anyone know if councils will accept OT assessments from private rather than NHS? I found out yesterday ours is a 10 month wait instead of 18 weeks. Mu local council won't get back to me but I know I need an OT assessment plus a DLA claim of MRC to be able to have a need for a 3rd bedroom

This has me worried as I also need a 3 bedroom 😫 I didn't no it had to be MR and ot to get 3 bed ,

AnxietyMumma · 10/03/2023 06:44

@Supermom92 hopefully your council is better than mine. I was also told yesterday I'll be on a band C (not sure if you area is done the same) and I'm likely to be on it for years. I suffer with an anxiety and depression disorder and PTSD but apparently I'm not bad enough. Even on the maximum dose of medication. Basically because I don't hurt myself putting it bluntly x

Fifi202 · 10/03/2023 06:44

Finally!

scan date 23/11 and no phone call or text but have received a payment from dla. Waited 15 1/2 weeks in total!
My gosh the relief!

good luck to u guys still waiting

Snickerdoodles19 · 10/03/2023 07:10

Off topic but has anyone else woke up to snow and a blizzard🙄🙄🙄

Kimmarris941 · 10/03/2023 07:43
