Looney - West Berkshire Council (Admissions Guide, a 17MB download) says:

January 2009 (Spring Term) for a child whose 5th birthday falls between 1 January 2009 and 31 March 2009 - Full-time as a Rising 5 and for a child whose 5th birthday falls between 1 April 2009 and 31 August 2009 - Full time as a Rising-Rising 5.

The application cut-off date was 30 November 2007, places will be offered in March. Therefore an application now, will be considered as a Late Application, and processed from 7 March 2008 (it must be with them by 6 March).

Looney - are you just asking out of interest, or need to know for a specific child? As if a specific child, which local authority do they live in - as in our area it does seem to vary.

Plus 5 short days gave notice that they wanted 2 longer days & now G'ma is going to have the baby for those 2 days - so we've really lost
