i really don't want to give birth at the side of the road but this is getting a bit worrying.

Blimey - I hope she made it to the hospital - it's all gone quite (that's good right - it means she didn't have the baby on the doorstep?) Good luck pink tulips. Give your mum hell from all of us when it's all over!

mrsruffallo · 10/02/2009 00:09

PT-Let us know that all is well !!
Very best of luck

zazen · 10/02/2009 00:19

best of luck to you PT - hope everything goes well for you!

A friend of mine had her baby on her kitchen floor with an ambulance technician yesterday morning.
Hope PT didn't end up the same!

PestoDrizzleMonster · 10/02/2009 13:05

Hooray!!! What did she have? C'mon, c'mon we need details

Lulumama · 10/02/2009 13:07

as one of the lovely MWs i know said recently, 'she'll need thick tights if she has another one!'

well done PT!! looking forward to the birth story x

AitchTwoOh · 10/02/2009 16:31

hang on, do we have news of PT's baby then?

pooka · 10/02/2009 16:33

Think VS's message was about her friend who had baby on kitchen floor rather than PT.

Any news of PT?

any updates?

PinkTulips · 12/02/2009 14:48

made it to the hospital and aaron was born at 11.57 at break neck speed, mw almost missed the birth.

he's in scbu since then unfortunately and i've just come home to pack a bag to stay at my parents as they're closer to the hospital and i need to be there to feed him.

hoping he'll be home at the weekend

ooooh, PT, congratulations! Aaron, what a lovely name.

rats about scbu, dd2 was in there for a night, it's not ideal. i hope he gets out soon.

PinkTulips · 12/02/2009 15:05

he's doing well, am exclusively bfing but as it's my first night out of hospital i'm really afraid i won't be able to express enough for tonight, he wasn't allowed to feed til tuesday night at 10 due to his breathing so my supply is a bit dodgy.

breathing is fine now but not feeding sent his jaundice out of control so he's under 2 banks of lights and on massive amounts of iv fluids as well as abs for his lungs.

he feeds really well though so am optimistic we'll muddle through.
