I can't believe this may be a full moon baby! I've had strong back feelings going on all afternoon, then in the evening they moved to the front and now its period ouchy and regular...

Hi - just saw your thread. i was at contractions lasting one minute, every three minutes, from the time my waters went (after my very first contraction). Still took a loooooooooooooooong time. Get some rest. Good luck!!!
Update with a birth story, ok??

thumbwitch · 11/01/2009 03:14

just checking in quickly before heading bedwards - good luck fourlittlefeet - hope this is the real deal!

treedelivery · 11/01/2009 03:45

My dd just got up and demanded a cup of tea and a hot water bottle so she is obviously feeling the labout vibe too! I agreed to the hot water bottle and am drinking the tea myself. Hope your doing good flf.

treedelivery · 11/01/2009 05:12

Guessing you are having a loooooong bath or are pottering into hospital.

BH only here and pressure so very if you are on!!

HelenBurns · 11/01/2009 07:30

tinkhaslessthanaweek · 11/01/2009 08:40

good luck

LargeGlassofRed · 11/01/2009 08:44

hope you managed some rest fourlittlefeet, and if it tailed off remember that all the contractions will help towards the end stage.
If it didn't tail off and your in hospital good luck and hope everything goes well,

ConstanceWearing · 11/01/2009 08:50

Wishing you speed and ease of delivery, FLF

TinkerBellesMumandFiFi2 · 11/01/2009 13:04

?this time I have to come home with a baby?

I think I was saying that most times, but this time when we knew things were happening but not quite at the section stage I was really getting annoyed about it!

I didn?t mean your scar, just saying why I needed to be monitored early I meant that if there is a reason they want you to go in not to worry. But it sounds like it?s more just the tediousness and frustration of the up and down (can you tell I did it? Lol) that?s getting to you more than anything. I can understand that, I?ve ignored the contractions a few times and even the last time I left them for 24 hours before doing anything about it!

Am I right in guessing that me, February mum, has had her baby before some January mums who are getting irritated at still being pregnant?

fourlittlefeet · 11/01/2009 14:49

yes, you'd be very right! We are mostly still waiting; its the 10th and there has only been 1 jan birth!

TinkerBellesMumandFiFi2 · 11/01/2009 15:24

I'm amazed, I would have expected far more babies in both clubs by now, statistically 1 in 8 babies are born early. Maybe we'll end up with a competition

still nothing . regular tightenings again today, but no ouchy ones... they have tended to come on later but not as regularly as last night which is why I got excited. That'll teach me then! Will update you if there are any advances.

Wishing you the best of luck and sharing some of the 'pop baby NOW' vibes that every one of my family/friends is sending me

fourlittlefeet · 11/01/2009 19:35

thanks blue; come and join us on the jan 09 antenatal thread here; there are about 30 of us feeling like this!

OP posts:
treedelivery · 11/01/2009 19:48

Yes blue come across.....or maybe don't as we seem to have some labour inhibiting thing going on over our way. Have a mighty fine postnatal thread all fluffed, beds made and sparsly populated too.
