ive seen adverts for this on fb. they claim to be able to cure anxiety in young people. im suspicious - and nowhere does it tell you the cost. however im fairly desperate since my 16 year old is very disabled by anxiety. thanks

jungle "not everyone knows how to cope"?? Do you mean good's friend?

Mibb2 · 17/06/2021 21:35

I feel like doing a "that's it, I'm done here" post Grin

SwanShaped · 17/06/2021 21:35

@JungleMum40 eh? Can you explain, please?

GoodButNaughty · 17/06/2021 21:36

@Mibb2 - I’ll do it if you do it Grin

SwanShaped · 17/06/2021 21:38

I thought you’d already done it good!

Mibb2 · 17/06/2021 21:39

good, swan , can we come back 5 minutes later Grin

DoubleTweenQueen · 17/06/2021 21:39

Back in the day, we would call it flouncing

DoubleTweenQueen · 17/06/2021 21:39

or is it wistful?

GoodButNaughty · 17/06/2021 21:40

@SwanShaped - agh, nope; I simply gave up on trying to reason/explain to Jungle. It’s pointless - totally pointless Hmm

SwanShaped · 17/06/2021 21:40

@DoubleTweenQueen!! Grin

DoubleTweenQueen · 17/06/2021 21:40

((((((ducks back down behind keyboard)))))))))

Mibb2 · 17/06/2021 21:41

double I think there is still Flouncers corner on MN. This thread could be nominated for the MN award for most flounces in a single thread Grin

JungleMum40 · 17/06/2021 21:43

@Psuedoshoes I’m not going to take personal attacks from you either, well then you would know all about well being and how the gym is mega important. Don’t use my personal business as a way to get at me because it doesn’t work. I for one wouldn’t let you in if I knew who you were because your behaviour is disgusting.

JungleMum40 · 17/06/2021 21:46

Yeah I’m done here, it’s funny isn’t it how one small mumsnet thread can have such a negative impact on people’s mental state or at least not mine, I think the best thing about this is as soon as I jumped back on you’re all straight down my throat. No compassion for what me or @MumOf2Teens2020 have and are going through. And basically called us bad mums. What a useless site this is.

DoubleTweenQueen · 17/06/2021 21:47

We’re really not that bad, once you get to know us

GoodButNaughty · 17/06/2021 21:47

Any other votes for me being:

  • dangerous
  • unscrupulous
  • accusatory
  • attacking
  • lacking compassion

...as Jungle states that I am all these things..?

JungleMum40 · 17/06/2021 21:47

@GoodButNaughty
You don’t get it do you. You’re being a good friend I get that, but for us mums who are going through the YCFF completely calling us bad mums and thinking that we would even consider or carry on if we thought our child was in danger, then you are clearly not in your right mind.

Psuedoshoes · 17/06/2021 21:48

I didn't- you clearly stated that you see bullying EVERY DAY in your gym. In all the years I've worked in a gym/been a gym goer, I can honestly state that's one place I've never seen any bullying. So strange you see it in your gym ever day.

BroccoliRob · 17/06/2021 21:49

Is this company still operating?

Just tried to have a look at their webpage and there's nothing coming up.

Sounds absolutely bonkers and a complete scam.

JungleMum40 · 17/06/2021 21:49

@DoubleTweenQueen no you’re toxic, and don’t want help, obviously. Anyway I’m done now my time is so precious. No doubt I will see you on here in years to come in the same position, living off the back of someone who is just supporting a friend and doesn’t give a flying crap about any of you.

JungleMum40 · 17/06/2021 21:50

And then you get all your friends to join in because you know what I am saying is the truth. Over and out with my head held high.

Mibb2 · 17/06/2021 21:50

I don't think anyone has called you bad mums jungle or I've missed it if they have. I'm on this thread because I'm concerned about YCFF sharing children's sensitive personal information and identities on a public website and their use of a high ticket coaching business model which I believe is inappropriate for a child anxiety service. I do hope they continue to provide support to those it is helping.

SwanShaped · 17/06/2021 21:55

jungle/sam can you quote where anyone has called you a bad mum? We’ve repeatedly said that we don’t think anyone who has bought the programme or considered buying the programme, is a bad mum. In actual fact, we’ve all said we can see how easy it would be to be drawn into it.

brocolli YCFF website has gone down since this thread. Look at Good’s posts.

GoodButNaughty · 17/06/2021 21:58

Jungle when have I ever called you bad mums..!?!! That would suggest my dear friend is a bad mum too as she did the formula..!?! She is an an amazing mum - a mum who was duped into parting with a significant sum of money on the promise of a service that was not fit for purpose!

It’s like a hairdresser opening up who only cuts hair in one style... a short back and sides. So, do you think anyone who wants that style will be happy...? Yep - they will!

Do you think anyone who asks for a different style but gets a short back and sides will be happy..?! No - they absolutely won’t. They’ll complain and cry and demand their money back...

I’m done here flouncing out (I’ll be back...! Grin)

SwanShaped · 17/06/2021 21:59

mibb flouncing!
