The teacher pushed my child

Hi, a teacher used abusive language and then pushed my child out of her classroom in front of my daughter’s friends. My daughter then argued with the teacher for pushing her. My daughter is now suspended from school because the head teacher did not believe her or her 2 friends. The school cameras cover outside the classroom but not inside the classroom. I have contacted the police and they said that they will visit me in 2 days. My daughter has been upset and been crying ever since, because it was her last day in year 8 in school and they were going to have a party. I feel that the staff at school are covering for the teacher’s behaviour to make they school not look bad.
Im just confused, how school has been very unfair with my child.

Did you challenge the decision and go in and discuss it

My daughter is well behaved but at times is refused the toilet. I completely understand how this would have been a difficult scenario. The note wasn't sensible but she's a child and they make mistakes. It's good you have spoken to her about that and the suspension is the consequence for that.

With regard to the pushing I would definitely go into school tomorrow and ask to see the CCTV. The school also has a responsibility to investigate and get witness statements from pupils/staff. It's difficult to know as it maybe your daughter has exaggerated or it maybe completely accurate.

My daughter had to complain about a teacher before (it wasn't physical) bullying. She wasn't alone and they are no longer employed.

It's important to support teachers but bad teachers as-well as good teachers exist.

It happened mid July and it's December now.
