I was boobing up my DS today, and I thought to myself "Who are all these wankers that hate that phrase?"

Never heard it!!

I tend to just "feed"

hunkermunker · 21/10/2006 23:36

I usually call it "milks" for DS2 - as in "would you like some milks?" - but I don't say that TO other people.

hunkermunker · 21/10/2006 23:36

Er.

I don't say that TO other people in reference to me feeding DS2. I'm NOT offering it to them!

hunkermunker · 21/10/2006 23:37

Er again. I DO say that to other people in reference etc...!

harpsichordcarrion · 21/10/2006 23:37

dd1 often has little chats with complete strangers on the subject of More.
I tend not to explain.

hunkermunker · 21/10/2006 23:37

Oh hang on. I don't say it to other people, do I?

[in a bit of a tizz]

harpsichordcarrion · 21/10/2006 23:37

lol at hunker offering milkymilky to passersby

hunkermunker · 21/10/2006 23:38

What does she say, Harpsi? I'd LOVE to see the other people's faces as they try to work out what she means

VeniVidiVickiQV · 21/10/2006 23:39

ROFL at your typo Aitch

Am thinking of starting a new thread with title

"so, breastfeeders are slags?"

Hunker - am pmsl at you!

oh she says (e.g.) (this was a little while ago)
does your mummy give you medicine when you are ill?
no she just gives me More and that makes me feel better
(HC - Schtum and looking out of the window)

or she will say - "dd2 has lots of More, it makes her stop crying and go to sleep. she likes it very much. I used to have More but now I am a big girl. Well I still might want it sometimes, in the mornings when I get up, perhaps. IF I didn't want Special K. Or a jam samdwich."

hunkermunker · 21/10/2006 23:43

ROFL Harpsi! Has she weaned totally now?

VVV, don't lie, you asked!

misdee · 21/10/2006 23:43

dd2 today 'i want a breastfeed. daddy, what is a breastfeed?'

this was after i discussing that other thread with dh earlier.

Yeah, yeah, we all know that you were euphemisming away there

harpsichordcarrion · 21/10/2006 23:46

pmsl at little Rachels...
Reports of dd1's weaning have been much exaggerated
she is going two or three weeks between feeds now. I reckon it has been nearly four weeks now.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 21/10/2006 23:47

This isnt a boobmilk story, but wanted to share - i was ROFL with this earlier...

DD "Hello? Policeman?"
DD "Ah, Policeman, my little brudder is being norty, can you come and get him please? Okay, bye"

OP posts:
hunkermunker · 21/10/2006 23:48

You'll have to express between feeds then, Harpsi [inappropriate advice for extended bfeeder] Actually, there's a funny thread in there, but it has SUCH potential to cause upset, I shan't.

AlfredAitchcock · 21/10/2006 23:51

go on... my pal is thinking of weaning her wee boy off bm at the age of 2 and a half on the 'advice' of a male friend of her's who said 'that is f*ing disgusting, you make me want to be sick'. not.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 21/10/2006 23:53

Your friend isnt HMMC, is she?
