It's tough larle - especially when you're tired, me & DH bickered a lot when tired & I think he found it hard that he couldn't help me when I was bf. babybee never ever took full feeds, even during day, was so frustrating, and I was totally exhausted & made decision to ff, we still struggle with sleep but at least I can have a night off, DH told me that bf made him feel a bit left out in a way (he knows breast is best etc etc).

Had a weird day- DD is well behaved in morning but terrible in afternoon when tired. Driven me mental tonight. Anyway, bath time now. Last broadchurch tonight! Grin X

Sorry to hear of bad nights larle and mrsn but hurrah that hv with some good advice. Hope you get sleep too though, you can't not sleep forever! And when you do, please pass some over here. BG well on mend but still very restless at night plus utterly ravenous so not getting much. Nearly fell asleep in a board meeting this afternoon!
Hooray to abi and giraffes juniors though... Get them chatting to everyone else through those secret cot-head consoles please!

Can I be a pain and ask for you to write spoiler before writing about broad church as I'm only on episode 3!!

Baby larle been to his first birthday party today. He was a little overwhelmed but didn't cry till right at the end as he was tired. Hope everyone else have had good days

Missmarbles still on bed time feed. She's taking waaaayy longer than normal and I'm at work tonight! My hair's going to dry in a right state if I don't get the drier to it soonBlushGrin

We walked to Tesco, and then hubby took little man to the DVLA with him so I got an hour and a half's sleep!!

Ds is having his bedtime feed. I've been catching up on Broadchurch all day ready for tonight's episode.

DS was the same last time I had him weighed larle. He's followed the 91st centile since birth but he had dipped a bit. He's 20 weeks but the hv's have adviced that he could be ready for solids. This was 3 weeks ago and I thought I'd weight until after I got him weighed again which will be tomorrow. He has been showing signs of readiness with not sleeping well (which tbf has improved) and not being content after feeds. He feeds once or twice a night and pretty much constantly throughout the day.

Wish us luck for weighing tomorrow! I don't want to start weaning yet... He's growing too fast :(

Thanks larle I look forward to hearing about that.

We're on bedtime feed(s). I find evenings so tiring. All that dinner, baths, clearing away etc. I'd rather just have a pot noodle and an apple if it were just me.

Anyway, going to try harder to properly stay awake for night feeds so babythorne gets as big a feed as poss.

So I've tried to fill baby larle up tonight by feeding 3 times between 6 and 7.30. DH got him ready for bed and he threw up 3 times during his story. DH then gave him a bottle of expressed milk which he promptly possetted HmmHmm

Emily I find the whole day exhausting, especially now we are weaning. Getting my nails done on Thurs and hair on Sat - can't wait for some me time!

mrsn getting hair and nails done sounds great.
I got an hour in the gym today (have abandoned the prospect of naps) and it was truly fab.
Babythorne just fed, quite a good feed actually so hoping for successful transfer in a bit.

Shit. Bed at 10 as usual. It's been over 2 weeks since next feed was before 2am.... tonight up crying at 12. It's like she knows we've got an early start tomorrow. We usually snooze in bed from 6-9 to try to get over the last few hrs of the night but tomorrow we've got a GP appt at 8.50 so need to be up by 7.30 latest. Shit shit shit.

First up time here, Calpol and Nelson's administered and now a sleeping baby on mummy's shoulder - going to sit for a while before attempting transfer!

In fact Brew all round.
Just fed again and we're all up with poorly, feverish DS Sad. Waiting for calpol to work Sad and watching "shrek".

Sorry to hear of bad nights! Mrsn I'm doing exactly the same as you Confused sleeping baby in arms till nurofen works. I'm knackered. Have any of little mans top teeth come through mrsn? We have one just through at top but the one next to it is also close. No let up is there!

Attempting transfer in 5 mins! I think I shall be attempting to nap Tomo afternoon as DD at nursery! X

I'm on first feed since 7pm. Should've attempted dream feed but too scared of waking her up unecessarily. Will make sure she gets a late feed tonight so she/I can sleep longer.

Hope you got to sleep after that feed.
DS needed ibuprofen to bring his fever down but he's sleeping now Smile as is DH. Dd is feeding every hour though and won't settle.
I am going to feel like absolute shit come dawn.
Also no rest tomorrow as cannot send poorly DS to CM.

abi good luck with weighing. Try not to worry too much though, a small centile dip doesn't neccessarily mean you need to give solids. I would still wait until 6 months if that's what you would like.
