Up again

Really had enough of this

any baby larle wouldn't latch in right for a few weeks, I had to express first to make nipple stick out a bit more. If LO is choking maybe its just fast let down

Emilythornesbff · 07/04/2013 04:51

Hi fello nighters.
Second feed here.

Those of you struggling with sleep training - things will get better.
My 2.5 yr old ds was a shocking sleeper still is sometimes Grin
I don't have the stomach for anything lke cc Blush but when he was about 1yo I used Elizabeth pantley's "gradual removal" method from "the no cry sleep solution" to stop night feeds. It worked in about a week. Believe me if I can do that anyone can!
So tired. Sorry for any typos, I can't see to type properly Grin

Emilythornesbff · 07/04/2013 04:53

"gentle removal"?rathet than "gradual"
I think Confused

larlemucker · 07/04/2013 05:41

I've had 3 hours sleep (2 hours plus bits), baby larle is yawning but wakes up as soon as he is in cot. I can't survive on this

Emilythornesbff · 07/04/2013 05:56

Oh large mucked. I feel your pain.
Babythorne is a shocker in her cot. So noisy and unsettled. How old is babylarle?

Emilythornesbff · 07/04/2013 05:58

Large mucked?!?! Wtf? Grin
Autocorrect and sleep derivation. What a combination!

Emilythornesbff · 07/04/2013 06:03

Great. She can't settle in cot (about to poop i think ) and obviously I can't fall asleep while she's laying over my lap so I'll have to sit and ponder diet.
Might re try Atkins. That worked well before and I liked the sugar free jelly with cream thing. Mmmmm cheese omelette for breakfast.

Curse my fat wobbly post pregnancy body (and the jeans I'll never wear again Sad )

larlemucker · 07/04/2013 08:13

Baby larle is just over 14 weeks.
I'm on WW, lost half a stone in 3 weeks

MrsNPattz · 07/04/2013 08:33

Up time here although I am expressing and then going back to bed - the joys of having mum here!

Nice to 'see' you Marbles, Amey and Funch - sorry you are struggling though Amey! Hope Small, Susie, Brain and other absentees are doing ok!

I have bought the no cry sleep solution book - started reading it during last nights feed!

MrsNPattz · 07/04/2013 08:34

I'm on WW too Emily, lost 16.5lb since Jan

Emilythornesbff · 07/04/2013 08:50

It's so tiring isn't it large. Babythorne is 9 weeks. I'd forgotten how tiring these early weeks are.
You're all doing really well with weight loss. Also, bfeeding helps at about 20 cals burned for every oz.

Emilythornesbff · 07/04/2013 08:51

LARLE -arghhhhhhh!,

larlemucker · 07/04/2013 09:03

That's ok emily I feel large most days!!

Emilythornesbff · 07/04/2013 09:53

Anypants · 07/04/2013 19:02

Well, I believe my LO has a cold today - quite bunged up Sad
She has been very sleepy though so I hope she has a good night tonight. Fingers.crossed!
I am a WW veteran - I lost two stone before I got pregnant so I can be assured that I can lose my baby weight. My leader is waiting for me with open arms... I have a stone and a half to shift, once i've had my check up. Had to buy some size 14 jeans yesterday as I wad fed up with the maternity ones Shock

larlemucker · 07/04/2013 19:20

Size 14, I dream of being in a size 14!!!

Anypants · 07/04/2013 19:30

Blush sorry - I was a 10 before I started eating for 'two', although I thonk a great deal of weight is being harboured in my massive hooters. Confused

larlemucker · 07/04/2013 20:02

I always try and feed baby larle from both boobs before I get weighed!! I was a size 14 when I got married, then a load if shit happened (lost mum and made redundant in the space of a month) so I ate out of depression. Got depressed that I put on weight so ate more chocolate etc.... Vicious circle!
I'm determined to get back to a 14 if not smaller this time!!

Emilythornesbff · 07/04/2013 20:33

Babythorne having bedtime feed now. We've had green poo today (well, when I say "we" obviously I mean baby). Maybe not feeding enough??

anypants I hope baby is better soon.
larle Sorry about your mum.
Wishing you all a good night (or at least time for a nap tomorrow Grin )

MrsNPattz · 07/04/2013 21:00

Bed time here, hope we have a good night so I'm as fresh as I can be for tomorrow. It's not until 6:30 so I am going to stay in my pyjamas, express as much as I can so hubby can do bedtime while I'm out, and psych myself up! Sorry to go on about it, I just really want it!

larlemucker · 07/04/2013 21:05

Sure you'll be fine MrsN, sending you lots of good vibes.
any HV told me green bits in poo can mean colic

larlemucker · 07/04/2013 21:06

Sorry meant emily

abi2790 · 07/04/2013 21:07

Hi everyone. I've not posted for a few days as I've been really unwell with a tummy bug Sad de seemed to get the runs for a day but other than that he's been fine thankfully. I'm a bit worried about my supply as ds is ebf and I've not been eating well Sad Do you think it would be a good idea to see my gp?

Good luck with your presentation tomorrow mrsn Grin

Emilythornesbff · 07/04/2013 21:34

Abi.
If you are feeling unwell or baby seems unwell the see GP.

But keep feeding. Keep drinking. Eat when you want to.your supply will come back up.

Thanks larle.

Good luck mrs n

SoYo · 07/04/2013 21:37

Abi are you feeling better now? Is LO still getting plenty of wet nappies? If so you'll both be fine. Supply readjusts very quickly. If you're really worried though then make an appointment.

Just had a lovely bath with Bubba here. She screams in the tummy tub or shallow water but floats around happily in the bath with me & it's a really nice time. We just have DH standing by to take her out so then I can wallow. I'm hoping it'll make her relaxed & snoozy but if last night's anything to go by she'll be a horror again!

MrsN it's Sod's law you'll have a sleepless night but it won't matter because you're well prepared, you're enthusiastic about it & you'll run on the endless adrenaline that only mums of small ones can have after a shitty night!
