My lo loves it too larle we've been going since he was 5 weeks Smile

Ds has been awake since 3 and is showing no signs of going to sleep Sad

larlemucker · 22/03/2013 04:42

Can someone please explain to baby larle that 4am is not a suitable time for a poo!

abi baby larle has also been up since 3am, just managed to get him to sleep after an hour of gurgling and grinning. I know you're meant to ignore them but its hard when they are being so cute!

ratbagcatbag · 22/03/2013 04:48

Hi abi and larle, sharing pain here, poo explosion at 2am feed, followed by copious amounts of sickness when waking for 4am feed, meant stripping mini cat bag and Moses basket before we could even begin bottle. Posting now as eyes dropping but she's better for sitting up for ten minutes at least to ease sickness. :( this baby thing is hard.

abi2790 · 22/03/2013 04:49

Yep it's very hard to ignore them! Ds has fallen asleep twice and everytime I put him in his crib he wakes up and wants to play! My eyes are so stingy Sad

abi2790 · 22/03/2013 04:58

wooohpoo it only took two hours but he's finally asleep!

abi2790 · 22/03/2013 04:59

Lol I meant wooohooo Smile

MrsNPattz · 22/03/2013 05:47

Third feed, what's going on Sad

And the gro egg is blue Blush

ratbagcatbag · 22/03/2013 06:20

Third feed but large,y ignored ignored it after demanding it, will put lid back on and see how long she lasts.

Lots of snow outside. Brrrrrr.

Smallgreenone · 22/03/2013 07:02

Baby small broke me and we co slept. He is definitely not hungry in the night as he settled immediately next to me. Amey would you recommend the hand holding thing? Might pop a mattress down in his room and sleep there like they did on bedtime live.
Loads of snow here won't be leaving the house. Where is spring?

GoatBongosAnonymous · 22/03/2013 07:31

I went to bed at 9. Kid woke at 9:25. Got back to bed at 1, then up again 2 till 3:30 when I too broke and brought him into bed. Got a little bit more but he just kicked. Can't do much more of this Sad GP appointment on Monday to see if there is anything like an ear infection or some such. So just the weekend to get through then!
Looks like this may become the snack and shoe thread! I too am size 8 but with bizarre triangular shaped feet...

abi2790 · 22/03/2013 08:39

Weather said I'd wake up to loads of snow but there's nothing but a really strong wind and rain. It's so cold though Sad The Gro-Egg is stupid... It's yellow but definitely feels like it should be blue!

Little man has just woken up with a big gleaming smile on his face. Makes me feel so much better Grin

Babybeesmama · 22/03/2013 08:55

Loads of snow here Confused no buses running up to our house! DH says won't be safe to drive so no nursery for DD or baby sensory for DS :(. Although I'm knackered so I don't care!

Small, it did work laying next to cot but he still woke every 2 hours :( he also broke me at 5am - was wailing & I'd just had enough & needed sleep! X

larlemucker · 22/03/2013 08:56

We've woken up to snow this morn, not loads but its still snowing!

A shoe and chocolate thread sounds like my idea of heaven! Lots of big feet on here too, glad it's not just me!!

We had a pretty good night last night, he was up 3-5 but transferred at 5 and woke about 7.45 so I feel remotely human today!!

Have a good day everyone, hope we don't get too much snow

MrsNPattz · 22/03/2013 09:18

Up here - so tired. Hoping to go for a walk to blow the cobwebs away but it's so windy and snowing, so will see.

Sounds like there were other bad nights too - thank god it's Friday!

Babybeesmama · 22/03/2013 09:44

Goat - totally sympathise with you! I have also considered seeing gp with DS but he settles as soon as I cuddle him so can only think he wants to co sleep. X

Smallgreenone · 22/03/2013 11:46

Me too have wondered if something is wrong with baby small but he also settles once picked up. Ours sound v similar amey. Monster is now napping so I am going back to bed. His only saving grace are his naps and the fact that he is ridiculously cute.
We were supposed to be shopping for a new car this weekend but the snow has put paid to that. I am secretly relieved as trailing around car forecourts with baby small would not have been fun!

MissingMyMarbles · 22/03/2013 13:43

We have a little snow but it is bitterly cold. I'm in the midlands too, Ratbag. It's only 15?C in her room; thank goodness for her oil radiator. Her thick curtains have arrived too so that will probably help too. I only bought them because they're blackouts and the blackout blind she has is slightly to small because Ieasured it wrong - oops!

Not the best night but she is self settling now. Even if it looks like a transfer fail, she bleats while she's turning over, it's one cry and she goes back to sleep.

I have size 8 feet; also the only size 8 I'll ever wear, whoever said that Grin I am just short of 5' 10" though.

Missmarbles is asleep on me, so I'm going to swing my legs onto the sofa and watch the tv Grin yippee I never watch daytime tv.

larlemucker · 22/03/2013 13:52

Sounds like I'm not the only one having a lazy day with a baby asleep on their lap!!!

Lots of snow here now, fire on and we're all snuggly. Don't think the dog will be going out!!

MrsNPattz · 22/03/2013 15:28

I've just had a nap with little man snuggled on the sofa too, he slept for an hour and a half which never happens!! Not sure how long I slept for but it was bliss - I want more!! Lol

I'm size 7, although I went down to a 6 when I lost weight for my wedding and think I'm somewhere in between now!

GoatBongosAnonymous · 22/03/2013 20:36

So far so good tonight... I know it's very early days but the last few nights he has been throwing himself round the cot by now! I have to say I practically force fed him an enormous bowl of banana and baby rice for tea as well as giving him a bottle Blush Not that Kid ever needs much prompting to eat!

He also had a nap on me this afternoon. Happens so infrequently now that I let him. It was so lovely!

Hmm... I have a hankering to buy shoes...

We have a little monkey who won't go to sleep, but has also got top teeth coming through! Could be a long night!

I have a new obsession -Pinterest! I have been looking at the food and drink section for hours, it's all American recipes and some of them look out of this world!! One to try - Nutella brownies/cupcakes/cookies: Nutella, flour and an egg and bake!

Babybeesmama · 22/03/2013 21:34

Hope it continues goat! Not going well here :( woken several times, he's not pooed for 3 days despite califig yest & today Confused poor lamb. Its so hard to know whether to keep going with sleep training if he's not well/uncomfortable.

Mrsn hope teething gets better! Does he have his bottom teeth? X

funchum8am · 22/03/2013 21:44

Well I didn't punch foolish comment man as I could see he realised he had made a big boo boo when the sentence was barely out of his mouth! He was apologetic, and being able to say "i have just had a baby" was an improvement on the FOUR times I have been congratulated on my pregnancy before I was ever pregnant! I guess I just have an enormous belly and I always have! ok haven't just had a baby, she is nearly six months but hey

No snow here yet!

goat if you want a helping hand on Sunday just say the word! I am still paying back mummy karma from the time heff came and took babyfunch for a walk so I could nap.

funchum8am · 22/03/2013 21:45

mrsn am off to try pinterest now!

abi2790 · 22/03/2013 21:54

Ds is still awake and doesn't want to settle Sad. I can't wait to go to sleep!
