Lol Heff it's just me being grumpy - I'm sure lots of people would eat it then! Hope you feel happier soon, hugs Thanks

Larle I feel ok, so hopefully it won't come to anything. I had it a few months ago and felt awful.

Amey hope you have been ok today!

abi2790 · 17/03/2013 20:41

DS is being very naughty tonight! He is refusing to sleep and keeps giving me a cheeky grin haha

BrainGoneAwol · 17/03/2013 23:27

mrsn glad it was ok in the end. I always thought I'd be a really chilled mum, and probably am compared to many, but I definitely lean far more towards wanting to control things than I thought I would!

First feed here. Babybrain has just dropped off and done the loudest hiccup in the world! Lol. Probably woke up dp next door!

We've depressingly realised that we probably need to move house in the next 18 months if we're planning dc2 and to get near a decent school for babybrain Sad. Ugh. Would be so nice to feel settled somewhere.

MrsNPattz · 18/03/2013 01:21

First feed here, it's blowing a gale outside.

Thanks Brain! We will have to move before having another as well, it's such a thought!! We I am hoping to try for another once little man is in school, so we have a while to find our dream house - as we don't want to move again!

larlemucker · 18/03/2013 02:07

Second feed here, could hardly see when he woke 2 hours ago for sleepiness so didn't post.
Don't know what is up with the little man tonight, he has been fine all day but tonight we've had proper hysterics, I've never heard anything like it. He had a screaming fit last Sunday too but it wasn't as loud or as prolonged as tonight.

Seems quiet on here (hopefully its not just that its too early)

Thankfully we have bought my parents old house, it's 3 bed so can have another DC, also has a garage that we could convert like my neighbours have done.

BrainGoneAwol · 18/03/2013 03:04

larle maybe he is practicing for back to work/school after the weekend wailing?!

Second feed here. Bit earlier than the last two nights but still really good for babybrain's usual. Woke truly crying as well but clearly teeth related. I could definitely feel an edge yesterday so I think number three is cutting its way through, poor little one. Hoping this doesn't go on too long as I can't feel number four at all Sad

abi hope your ds stopped grinning and started sleeping.

Agree it's very quiet. Hopefully for all good reasons. Smile

abi2790 · 18/03/2013 03:32

first feed of the night but ds was feeding until around 11. My eyes are really stinging from tiredness :( I feel horrible! I've been bed-ridden all day with agonising pains in my knees with more dark bruises appearing on them every day :( I didn't manage to get a nap though whilst being in bed all day!

Babybeesmama · 18/03/2013 04:30

I've totally lost track tonight as so tired! I think he fed at 1145 and has gone till now? (I think!) if so that's pretty good for us. Just having a bottle now & looks as tho will finish it. Really hope he goes till 7 now.... Please!!! X

MrsNPattz · 18/03/2013 06:20

Second feed here - it's not up time little man!!

Oh no abi that sounds awful, hope you feel better soon!

It is quiet! Hopefully due to sleeping and not tiredness!

BrainGoneAwol · 18/03/2013 06:43

Up time for us. Still doing so much better; Bed at 7, feeds at 11-12, 3.00-4.00 and 6.15-awake. With another self settle around 4.30. Third night in a row Grin

He's just got the hang of properly eating with blw rather than just sucking and accidentally swallowing so I wonder if that's why. Grin

Really, really hope he has finally learned this and it's not just another phase...

amey hope you got more sleep.

abi have you seen your gp?

Babybeesmama · 18/03/2013 08:11

Co slept from 6 to get another hour in, it worked. I just worked out he's had 21oz of milk between 6pm and 5am, that's a lot of milk!! Maybe its a growth spurt who knows. The annoying thing is there's no consistency so tonight will probably be completly different. I could cope if I knew if I'd be up x3 or something. Its so frustrating! DH was up with DD last night too Confused will we ever get sleep??! X

BrainGoneAwol · 18/03/2013 09:46

amey I've decided babybrain is having another growth spurt - 6.5 months. For example he had a full feed 6-7 this morning, had 1/3 of a wheetabix (lol, my phone wants to change that to 'heretic'!!) at 9 and has now just had another full feed. Crazy.

GoatBongosAnonymous · 18/03/2013 09:52

A better night last night (though that's not difficult Grin ) although still lots of cot-hurtling from after the midnight feed. Also has a really bad cold so couldn't feed properly poor thing.
He is already down for his first nap and I have a hankering to make a cake...

OP posts:
MrsNPattz · 18/03/2013 10:09

We got a couple more hours yey!

larlemucker · 18/03/2013 13:15

Can't believe I managed to express 2.5 oz this morn then knocked pump over and lost 1.5oz. So peeved, takes me ages to express that much milk HmmHmm

abi2790 · 18/03/2013 15:12

I saw my gp this morning braingoneawol they did a blood test and I have an x-ray tomorrow of my hips cos they've been sore since after birth. hopefully everything will be back to normal soon!

Ds has just gone down for a nappy so I'm having a lie down watching telly :)

abi2790 · 18/03/2013 15:13

I meant nap instead of nappy haha

Susieloo · 18/03/2013 18:09

Hello all, does anyone else's baby seem to have a permanent cold? I read somewhere that you are meant to take them to the dr if it hasn't cleared up after three weeks, bb's cold disappears for a day or so then comes back with a vengeance.

Champagne Sunday was awesome Grin I did go and pick bb up at 8.30 this morning though because I missed him.

larlemucker · 18/03/2013 18:43

Aww susie! Baby larle sometimes sounds congested, the nurse heard him when she did his vaccs and didn't seem concerned.

Can I ask what age your DCs started teething? After last nights hissy fit and his constant drooling we're not sure if he might have started teething but he is only 11.5 weeks!!

Smallgreenone · 18/03/2013 18:43

Glad you had fun susie will champagne Sunday become a regular feature for you? I like the sound of it!
Baby small was bad last night so hoping he does better tonight.

MrsNPattz · 18/03/2013 20:18

We have a tired monkey tonight, tried putting him down awake but sleepy with Ewan and the projector on, but he wasn't having it and we couldn't leave him upset Blush feel useless! What if he still needs rocking/feeding to sleep when he's 3??

Larle I think little man has been teething on and off for months but teeth have only appeared in the last couple of weeks (he was 6 months on Saturday).

Susie glad you enjoyed it!

We had a walk to Asda this morning, then went to my friends this afternoon - luckily we got home before the blizzards started!

abi2790 · 18/03/2013 20:49

think it's going to be another late night for us tonight :( ds is really tired but won't settle. he fell asleep on my boob but then woke up

MissingMyMarbles · 18/03/2013 22:20

Don't feel useless, MrsN ((hugs)) He won't need rocking to sleep when he's 3, and it's not the end of the world if he does from time to time. I say that as someone who never thought DD1 was going to sleep through or go to sleep on her own and she did, and spent more nights than I care to count waking up cold and stiff on her bedroom floor Hmm and you know what, I miss it. Yes, it does irritate me when she prolongs her bedtime beyond necessary now - she's nearly 8 Grin can't win! This is just a phase, and it will pass; it's just exhausting, these early months. He will grow so fast and you'll wonder where the time went. You are not useless, you are a lovely mummy who wants her baby to be contented and settles, and he will be Smile

Had the first good night in months - I can actually describe it as good Grin She went down at 6.45, had an intruder at 7.20. She then wriggled up the cot and got stuck at 8.20 but went back down with a cuddle, then didn't wake again til 11.30 and 4, then up at 7. I wouldn't even be so bothered about this just yet, if it wasn't for the stress of returning to work, but I think we might be actually be ok come my actual return.......

Larle, felt like Missmarbles was teething from about 10 weeks with her dribbling and chewing but she didn't actually cut one til just over 6 months and we had a right week to 10 days before! Gutted on the ebm spill - very frustrating!

Glad you had a bit of an improvement Goat and loving the idea of Champagne Sunday, Susie Grin Hope you have a better one tonight Small.

Hello Abi. Hope you get you're hips sorted soon; that sounds really nasty.

Sorry not to namecheck further; can only remember first page Blush Hi to Brain, Amey, Heff, Stitch and anyone else I'm sorry I may have missed.

abi2790 · 18/03/2013 22:27

Thanks missingmymarbles :)

Ds has finally nodded off so at last I can get some sleep! See you all in a few hours :)

EeyoresGloomyPlace · 18/03/2013 23:22

Aw mrsn you're a wonderful mum don't feel useless because you absolutely are not.

marbles hooray for your good night! I'm starting to worry about how our nights will be when I go back to work in May although last night was good for us too, must've been some good strong sleepy dust about :)

larle babylump started showing signs at about 4 months, but she'll be 6 months next week and we still don't have anything to show for it!

susie I'm loving the sound of champagne Sunday, really glad you enjoyed yourself and had a well earned break.

It hit me today that with the 6 month mark just around the corner we should probably start thinking about moving her out of our room, but that made me a bit sad. Is it silly of me to want to keep her with us for longer? What age has everyone else moved their LOs, did it make any difference to their sleep?
