Meh. Up every 15 mins since 22:50. Other than from 4:33 to 5:22.

I'm selling him.

Small and goat - our boys are in sync! Very unsettled night here too! Not even co sleeping helped. So tired! Maybe its teething round 2! Confused X

Smallgreenone · 15/03/2013 07:43

We could sell them as a special deal three for the price of 1!

Babybeesmama · 15/03/2013 08:05

Ha ha or free to a good home! Grin

GoatBongosAnonymous · 15/03/2013 08:16

Yes, cuteness factor tripled? Surely a winner! Grin

OP posts:
BrainGoneAwol · 15/03/2013 09:04

Would four make it a more or less attractive offer? Grin

Things didn't improve for us either, though you'd never know it from how smiley and giggly babybrain is first thing at 6am He surely must be exhausted since I am... I keep thinking I can feel a tooth though so hoping this doesn't go on too much longer - though they do come in pairs Sad

small yes they do know when we are on our own, desperate for sleep and the instant we have just started to drop off. I am now convinced that babybrain's high pitched squeaking is actually a form of communication that can travel miles to other babies so they can coordinate night time activities. Yes.

GoatBongosAnonymous · 15/03/2013 09:19

brain Shock that's it! Our babies were bats in a past life and have maintained the ability to communicate ultrasonically.

And yes, let's make it four - even numbers are much better!

MrsNPattz · 15/03/2013 09:53

Awake at twenty past 7 here but I couldn't drag myself out of bed until ten to 8! Baby group this morning then Tesco this afternoon to stock up on food for BLW!!

Smallgreenone · 15/03/2013 12:04

Lol at the idea of babies as bats previously!
I am not leaving the house today, too tired and we've got some bets on so want to see what's happening at Cheltenham! I'll let you know if I get a big win!!! I love Cheltenham, wonder if baby small will still be too tiny to take next year?! DH is there and is having far too much fun by all accounts!

Babybeesmama · 15/03/2013 13:47

Well we've decided short naps are fine today, apart from he's a grump!! I wish he would have longer at lunchtime! So frustrating!

Mil has bought homemade banofee pie over (had it before - lush) how am I going to resist??? Shock X

GoatBongosAnonymous · 15/03/2013 14:34

We are still trying for the post lunch nap Confused Grumpasaurus is in full flow.

OP posts:
larlemucker · 15/03/2013 14:43

amey we very rarely do short naps either and it's a pain when you've got things to do!! like clean my scummy bathroom

We've been to bumps and babes this morn and then out to walk the dog and visit his fab shop, the butchers!!

Sorry to hear kid is being grumpy goat

Am seriously tempted to tell MIL she can't look after baby larle until she has given up smoking but worried it might cause problems, just don't like him coming home smelling of smoke!

GoatBongosAnonymous · 15/03/2013 16:18

larle I would be absolutely with you about the smoking!! But then I am a rabid anti smoker a complete pain mainly because it really plays havoc with my asthma, really the only thing that does now.

We managed 30 mins napping! Calm is currently restored. Or what passes for calm in the Goat enclosure... tries to ignore hearty bouncing in jumperoo

OP posts:
MrsNPattz · 15/03/2013 17:31

You can do it Amey!! Or point it Smile

Larle I wouldn't put up with that!

larlemucker · 15/03/2013 17:39

goat my grandad died of lung cancer after smoking for about 60 years. He was the generation where they gave you cigarettes as wages. He smoked for that long the Dr told him not to give up as he would probably have a heart attack.
My Dh used to smoke, after my grandad died I told him it was me or the fags, thankfully of course he picked me!!!

BrainGoneAwol · 15/03/2013 18:26

Well, babybrain has been trying to make up for last nights ridiculousness by wanting to eat and sleep for most of today. (Apart from the jumperoo session earlier. goat I babybrain shares kid's love of that thing. He gets quite hysterical in it.)

I'm hoping naively that it will mean a better night.

ARGH! He's just bitten me! One of these days he's going to draw blood! Ow ow ow. So painful. I'm now throbbing while he's shut his eyes and snuggled down!

EeyoresGloomyPlace · 15/03/2013 19:41

On bed time feed here, very late as we popped to grandads to enjoy a Friday night bottle of bubbly Grin DH playing with dd1 (although they should be going to bed!) and I'm just about to go down and start dinner.

larle I sympathise about the smoking. Pils both smoked, as does DH, but when we told mil we were expecting dd1 she was amazing and quit instantly so that she could babysit. We were very lucky though, and as DH still smokes I think mil deserves even more credit for her devotion! I think you'd be we'll within your rights so ask her to refrain from smoking while she's looking after baby larle.

Will try and catch up properly later, my tummy is telling me its dinner time now! xx

funchum8am · 15/03/2013 19:43

Sorry yes that was me logged on as DH yesterday. Should stick to using my phone! Very Angry. with all these naughty babies. Maybe at easter I can send DH off for a rest and I will have them all round and give them The Look and talk to them in The Voice I use at work...

We had an ok night last night, but assuming it won't last!

Am off shopping tomorrow to buy clothes to fit how big I am and how old I feel...watch out end of sale bargains in Jaeger, Viyella etc!! Am going to dress like a 55 year old at work as they are the clothes that suit my figure these days and always have, just couldn't admit it before having a baby Grin

Babybeesmama · 15/03/2013 19:43

God I'm knackered, PIL are lovely but I do feel like I've been running around after them all day - making lunch then dinner & endless cups of tea! Always make the error of trying to have dinner before kids in bed (we always eat at 730pm after kids in bed) so I ended up trying to sort babybee out & my tea went cold on table. And now I have a stack of washing up to do - bleugh. PIL still here but I shall be off to bed before long. Just put DD to bed & am ready to drop after a sneaky vodka & tonic .

Tried babybee with weetabix today - jeez - he inhaled it! Ate an entire one! I'm amazed at his food intake clearly takes after his mother where volumes concerned!

Sleepy dust all! X

BrainGoneAwol · 15/03/2013 21:30

I've run off to bed while dp does the first settling shift Grin. So far babybrain transfered at 7.00, had a tiny 5 min resettle at 9.00 and all quiet again. Maybe he'll sleep through... Hahahahahahaha!

There's carrot and almond baked cheesecake for anyone that wants. A Paul Hollywood recipe, but with v low fat cream cheese and v low fat creme fraiche instead of double cream at dps request Wink Still very rich! Quite tasty Smile

funch please can I borrow The Look and The Voice?

amey babybrain loves wheetabix too. Raisen wheats soaked in milk are also a favourite. Smile

Hope you all have good nights.

EeyoresGloomyPlace · 15/03/2013 21:37

funch could you please bring The Look round here and employ it where babylump is concerned. The screeching is doing my head in!

amey if you've done all the cooking couldn't pils/DH wash up for you? Maybe funch needs to come and be stern at then for you Wink Hope you get to put your feet up soon.

Just watched yesterday's Big Reunion, I'm such a sucker for it all, wish I was going to the live shows. Very Envy of my friend who god tickets for valentines day.

MrsNPattz · 15/03/2013 22:13

Bedtime here, little man went down at about half 9 but woke up half an hour later. He took a feed and has fallen back to sleep.

Heff I am loving the big reunion - I really want Lee and Lyndsey to get back together!

funchum8am · 15/03/2013 22:47

StitchAteMySleep · 15/03/2013 22:59

Me=flu, dd1=flu, Stitch=bouncing bean last two nights now coming down with flu.
