Sneaks In.

Amey I'm up pumping for the same reason! Can't sleep they are so painful!

Smallgreenone · 25/12/2012 04:15

Merry Christmas!! Second feed here. marbles small is the same, absolutely sparko until he touches the mattress and then boom! We've been doing a bit of co sleeping the last few nights and it makes a big difference. I miss DH but I miss sleep more so needs must!
Hoping he goes until 7 after this but we will probably be up at 6.

JRsandCoffee · 25/12/2012 04:19

Merry Christmas!

Trf 1 underway, fingers crossed she goes back to bed easily....... It took until 1.30 after the 11pm feed to settle, I think wind is the problem, if she gets it stuck seems very sore and sad.

Susieloo · 25/12/2012 04:45

Merry Christmas!!

We are up again, it is definitely not morning yet!

elvislives2012 · 25/12/2012 04:48

Merry Christmas!
Haven't graduated but haven't posted because I've been so I can't see! So looking forward to our first Christmas with our beautiful daughter. Hope u all enjoy yours too xxx

funchum8am · 25/12/2012 05:49

Merry Christmas ladies! After a terrible night and pretty bad day with one overstimulated little nap refuser we have been co sleeping since 2am and got a reasonable amount of sleep up to 4:45. Since then she has been feeding constantly but hey, it is Christmas, one night of her having exactly what she wants won't end up a habit I hope

Have a wonderful day and I hope Santa brings huge sacks of long life sleepy dust for all!

StuntNun · 25/12/2012 05:57

Currently on the third feed of the night but expecting my older two boys to burst in any minute. I'm pretty sure one of them already sneaked downstairs to look under the tree!

Ameybee · 25/12/2012 06:12

pikz so painful isn't it? He woke at 345! And now so finally right noob getting emptied!
Merry christmas all! I'm so excited for DD to see all the presents!
I feel shattered now after being awake with sore boobs! Hoping baby bee nods off again now!
X

Goatbongohohoandjinglejingle · 25/12/2012 06:28

Really broken night. But hey, guess we have to get used to not sleeping the night before Christmas!

Merry Christmazzzzzzzzzzzz......

TeaandHobnobs · 25/12/2012 06:55

Merry Christmas all!

DS has been screaming every 45 mins all night - ear-splitting, glass-shattering screaming. Painkillers/teething gel or powders have made no difference, feeding will settle him temporarily but he kicks off again...

I don't know what's wrong Sad could overtiredness make him this awful? His napping was pretty bad yesterday. He's also had a bit of a stomach bug, but seemed to be over that now.

HeffalumpsAndWoozles · 25/12/2012 08:07

Haven't caught up with last night's thread but just checking in to wish you all a very merry Christmas. I hope everyone has a wonderful day Xmas Smile

MrsNPattz · 25/12/2012 11:08

Hope everyone's having a lovely day so far! We are! DS about to have a nap & DD might too, she looks tired already! She's enjoyed herself so much! DS had 4oz of formula again this am, only problem is my huge full boobs! Will have to see how this combination feeding goes! X

MissingMyBaubles · 25/12/2012 22:12

Susie and Small, last night was horrendous. Missmarbles didn't go back to sleep til 3.10. I was so tired and have been for must if the day. In the end I put on Ewan, and went back to bed only to listen to get singing away. All that said we have had a lovely day. So glad to be back in the north with family though. DD1 has been a cherub too. Looking forward to chilling out tomorrow, and desperately hoping Missmarbles sleeps better tonight. She's been down three hours so far but I can hear her twisting next to us in the travel cot..... They have to sleep through eventually.

Merry Christmas everybody!!

HeffalumpsAndWoozles · 26/12/2012 00:50

How was everyone's day? We've had a lovely time with my family, lots if good food, plenty of champagne and some really thoughtful presents. DD1 surprised me by bring really quite into it (she refused to open a single present at her 2nd birthday party in September!) and apart from a bit of a tantrum at the dinner table she's been an angel all day. Babylump has also been a total poppet and given out lots of smiles and cuddles, even when we went for a quick drink in our local and I meanly put her in a Christmas pudding hat Xmas Grin

Hoping this is last feed before transfer, fingers crossed.

Hoping Santa has brought you all some extra kip xx

MrsNPattz · 26/12/2012 03:07

Happy Boxing Day lol

First feed here, that's 6 hours he's slept for but I've only had about 3.

Hope you all had a lovely day and got lots of nice things. This has been the best Christmas ever cause of little man, but can't wait to get to my family tomorrow!

Morning! Same thing with refusing to go to bed but DH took over to weave some sort of magic, just had 3.5 hrs, puppy guzzling as I type. Suspect wind part of the issue as burping has variable success.... Any tips? Would infacol help? She's also on Zeppelin boob no. 2 so nervous as she's still sucking like crazy and I also suspect let down is fierce....winded her after boob 1 but fear there may be a cranky baby to settle any minute...

Hope there were lots of lovely Christmases out there! A friend of mine was given a night of unbroken sleep by a relative who tool over all the night feeds, how blissful does that sound???

Ameybee · 26/12/2012 05:37

Quiet on here tonight! We had a lovely chilled day and evening. DD has started with a really bad croupe-like cough tho so I hope she will be ok poor love. We are headed home Boxing Day afternoon, be nice to get back home and relax.
jr infacol may well help, it binds the air bubbles together so baby can bring up wind easier. No harm giving it a try.
mrsn bet you will love getting to your family Tomo! Have a great time! Babybee has emptied my crazily full boob which I am grateful for! Transfer time!! X

MissingMyBaubles · 26/12/2012 06:04

4th feed but so far transfers have been straight forward, which for me is the killer. Although I would like to be up less, I can cope if she goes straight back down. That said, still had very broken night, as Missmarbles fed at 10.15, DD1 woke me at 11.30, Missmarbles fed again at 11.30, then DNiece woke up screaming at other side of house and it woke me at 2, then Missmarbles was up again at 4 and just now Xmas Confused

Smallgreenone · 26/12/2012 06:56

Hi all. Lovely day here yesterday I think little man enjoyed his first Christmas. Up a few times here as normal but been too tired to post as stupidly I stayed up late last night and didnt get my early sleep.
Off to my parents today so really looking forward to that.

Goatbongohohoandjinglejingle · 26/12/2012 08:01

Morning everyone. Hope you all had lovely days yesterday. Finally had a reasonable might last night after a few nights of direness. Today we will set up apple tv which I got... And Kid can wear some of his mountain of new clothes!

funchum8am · 26/12/2012 08:32

We had a lovely Christmas here. babyfunch was on fine form charming everyone with lovely smiles. She got lots of lovely presents and hardly any plastic tat which is nice! Bit of screaming when DH, DM and I each attempted to give her a bottle and she fell sound asleep each time we gave up! Think we are back to complete bottle refusal Sad. However she slept really well and even had our smoothest ever transfer at 1:15am, and without gaviscon too, and stayed asleep til 3:45 but then transfer fail after that feed so came in with us. DH now taking her for a walk.

DH is now legendary within my family as he did Christmas lunch and it was fabulous. Even my stepmum's mum said so and she is usually quite picky! Think if we ever split up they would keep him not me!

Susieloo · 26/12/2012 10:03

App has eaten my first post grrrrrrConfused

Just been hit by tiredness wall so will repost later, for breakfast I have eaten two pieces of turkey with bread sauce and stuffing and three pigs in blankets and a slice of banoffe pie, perhaps that's why I'm tired.........

Ameybee · 26/12/2012 11:09

fun the only teat we've had the success with is a brown latex one that my SIL's midwife friend got for us! He seems to like that! You might be able to ask HV for some if you struggle. Been really good at taking it. DH also stands up and jigs him & takes him to look at fish tank whilst he feeds. Hope you get some success soon! Xx

MrsNPattz · 26/12/2012 17:56

Having one of those days where little man just won't settle for me but as soon as he goes to hubby he is fine - makes me feel like poop. I would cry if in laws weren't here - and of course it happened in front of them Blush
