Third feed of the night, v tired so waving at everyone, have booked my parents to have babyloo next Friday day time so I can stay in bed and catch up on some sleep, too tired to post eyes won't stay open, really really want him to start sleeping longer!!

funchum8am · 15/12/2012 02:57

Thanks for the info toodlepip we think babyfunch has reflux and it sounds similar to your experience but doc wanted to try a few things before medication...it isn't working though Sad Really glad your LO is improving!

I am boiling, DH has gone and left the heating on. He is normally really tight about it so I am in a big nightie and am far too hot!

This is the feed where babyfunch refuses to settle so I may well be kicking DH out soon so he can switch the heating off then....I love it when a plan comes together!

goat Angry. to elbowy train crowd people, I know what you mean!

Smallgreenone · 15/12/2012 03:33

I've added you on FB mrsn.
First feed since 10 for baby small which is brilliant. I heard him shout at 1 but ignored him and he went back to sleep until now. Yay! I've bought him in bed now anyway because I'm lazy and DH isn't here anyway so I may as well have some company on enormous bed.
Hope you're all getting some sleep.

Ameybee · 15/12/2012 04:05

Stingy eye club 😳! He has gone from 1 until now tho which is pretty good & he's feeding properly at mo (thank god, exploding boobs). DD was screaming an hour ago as she fell off the chair bed! DM sorted her out!
I hope DH has whipped the Hoover round by the time we get back tomorrow.... You could feed a Pygmy tribe off the living room carpet at the moment!
Hoping my next transfer is successful & we get through to 7 at least.... Pretty please?
Xx

Ameybee · 15/12/2012 04:06

Ooh - that weird number thing was me using emojis on iPhone - they don't work for future reference!!! X

MrsNPattz · 15/12/2012 04:30

First feed here, so nearly 5 hours since he eventually went down! I think hubby coming home woke us both Angry

Hi toodle nice to 'meet' you Grin

funch and goat I will PM you!

OP posts:
Ameybee · 15/12/2012 04:37

Epic transfer fail - groan. This may be the night he learns to self settle because its cold & a long way to bend down into travel cot....

JRsandCoffee · 15/12/2012 04:40

Trf no 1.under way here....11pm feed was a bit screamy, fed for 40 mins, needed changed, cried, posseted during change, changed clothes, grumbled, refused bed and eventually stupid mother offered the other boob, had that an conked out reasonably quickly (memory of DH doing some shushing....) until 4.05......fingers crossed she finishes and lets us have another 3 + hrs....

Fingers crossed everyone's nights involve a peaceful stretch until morning! How old? are everyone's babies? X

MrsNPattz · 15/12/2012 04:48

JR my little man is 13 weeks old tomorrow! How old is yours?

OP posts:
funchum8am · 15/12/2012 05:07

babyfunch is 10

Susieloo · 15/12/2012 05:10

We seem to have gone back months tonight with the two hourly waking again.

Mrsn we are now friends on fb but I don't know how to add anyone else, can't see who you are friends with recently on the iPhone app, will go on the desktop site tomorrow.

Jr babyloo is 5 months and a week old I think!!

Really hoping for another couple of hours, not sure I want this to be morning!!

funchum8am · 15/12/2012 05:12

doh posted too soon! she is 10 weeks 2 days. DH is about to take her for a drive as reflux has woken her ans she is wide awake. I have been awake since 3 and can't seem to drop off Sad

Goatbongohohoandjinglejingle · 15/12/2012 05:13

We. Are. Awake.
Did I mention the word awake? Is there another word that ramps that up a bit?? Xmas Hmm

Have found you, mrsn or I hope I have or someone will be very bemused!

amey Xmas Grin at your Pygmy tribe!

funch were you at NP hospital? I know scary numbers of people complaining there. Xmas Sad

jr Kid is 5 months on Tuesday but was prem so 3 months adjusted tomorrow! Where does the time go?... oh that's right, in sleep deprived nights

Ameybee · 15/12/2012 05:16

Babybee is 12 weeks... And still awake!!!! Argh been up since 355 now! He's still tired but chatting away and won't give in! I've given in & given him the full boob as I hope this will result in milk drunkness & sleep! If I'd of been at home I prob would've left him to self settle as he wasn't crying but I was scared his ramblings would wake everyone up! Why does everything seem louder than in your own house?! I swear I heard my dad snoring 2 rooms away earlier! Deciding whether to leave him on bed with me or attempt transfer now. Sleep.... I miss you! X

Ameybee · 15/12/2012 05:21

goat we are with you on Awake! I hate being up between 3 & 6am its the worst time and its freezing! susie I've added you through mrsn on fb. I'm easy to find with my random spelled name so anyone else feel free to add me through mrsn x

Smallgreenone · 15/12/2012 06:37

I've added you amey couldn't see you susie will try again when I can actually see perhaps!
I think I'm up now but the night really wasn't so bad. I'm too excited to sleep anyway because today is tree day!!! We currently have a tiny tree in a pot in the dining room but today I am off to the shops with baby small for an enormous 7ft fir for the sitting room. I LOVE the Christmas tree! Takes me hours to choose and decorate. I have named the tree already, he will be Fritz the Fir this year!

JRsandCoffee · 15/12/2012 07:22

Hi everyone, she woke up again at 7 so not too bad, hoping can snatch another hour after this feed before Sarurday kicks in!!

Amey big fan of milk drunkenness here.....

DD aka "The Puppy" is 4 weeks and two days old but arrived five weeks early do still not due. She had quite bad Jaundice but was just shy of 6lbs at birth and has (touch wood...) had no other problems so far. Finding it hard to judge when to go on her actual age and her adjusted age!!! Goat would be very interested in any words of wisdom!

Right, need to save right boob, she seems to imagine it is some kind of bungee for supported moshing practice....

Susieloo · 15/12/2012 07:48

Our day started at about half six so not too bad, bit gutted about the two hourly waking though, I've started weaning and we were just on one meal at lunch time but I've just given him some breakfast so we will go up to two meals from now on in an attempt to help the sleepingSmile

Have good days everyoneSmile

Goatbongohohoandjinglejingle · 15/12/2012 07:58

Still awake. AWAKE. Awaaaaaaaaaaake, awakeawakeawakeawake, wakey wakey wakey...
Xmas Hmm
jr congratulations on your little prem! We used to have quite a few on the thread, though some seem to have graduated. With the real/adjusted age, frankly I have decided to throw the book out the window. And stick my fingers in my ears and go lalalala when hvs try and talk about it. Kid is just writing the book himself - in some things he is behind adjusted age, in some ahead of real age, and everything in between. Probably the only thing I really take note of is adjusted age for feeding patterns, which have been pretty spot on. Though of course weaning is to real age... But he is now becoming a little Buddha at 12 lbs!
susie how is LO enjoying the weaning? Xmas Smile

Ameybee · 15/12/2012 08:31

Trying desperately to get another hour after being awake for 2 in night - grr!!! He's not looking keen. I'm feeling pretty jealous that DH is at home having had enormous amounts of sleep!
Think we are off to park or garden centre depending on weather.
My mum was so down yesterday :( she doesn't want any of the family to know until second op results are back but I think in doing that she's excluding a bit of her support network. Will try n chat to her today although DD has been surgically attached to her since we arrived!
Hope everyone has nice days! X

MrsNPattz · 15/12/2012 08:39

Up time here, we came straight downstairs so as not to wake a probably very hungover daddy who came in at gone 4! Does anyone else have a hubby who can't say no? No, he says, I won't be going to town and the casino after the party, however as the party didn't last until 4 I'm presuming this is where he was!

We don't have much planned today, just a food shop delivery and then it depends what state he is in! It's really miserable out so might be nice to stay in anyway.

Loving seeing everyone's pictures on FB, glad I asked now Smile

Hope everyone managed more sleep!

Susieloo · 15/12/2012 08:48

Thinking of you amey, hope the chat with your mum helps.

Goat-like his mum babyloo loves his food so far, not only was he trying to eat the spoon this morning but he was after the bowl as well, he still wants me to feed him as well though so he's a very hungry baby!!

HeffalumpsAndWoozles · 15/12/2012 09:20

Morning :)

We had a good night, down at midnight, feed at 4am then down again until half 8. DD1 woke just as I was putting babylump down after 4am feed so she came in with us and has only just woken up too. We're all snuggled up in bed watching cbeebies although DH is fast asleep after going out to play snooker and coming in at 1am Xmas Envy

mrsn I've got you & amey now on fb, how do I find everyone else? Can you send me friend suggestions maybe?

Ameybee · 15/12/2012 10:03

For some reason heff i can't find suggest friends for you. Maybe if I tag us all in a post then you can add them from my wall?

mrsn my DH has no idea about saying no!! And he's always on his 'last pint!' He's very skinny compared to his mates so he can't keep up! Under normal circumstances he can't keep up with me but I'm a fatty Grin! Don't know about you but I've found that bf has helped very little with weightloss when I thought it would just fall off?!? I lost a stone in the first week or so (but think that happens naturally & I was horrified at number on scales) but now I've been more or less same for a month or so until ww but then that's not a huge loss. I need to exercise really, might get the Davina DVD's out, I'm sure baby bee would watch me wobbling about the lounge, or I could put him in sling for extra weight training!! X

MrsNPattz · 15/12/2012 10:53

amey yea I'm totally the same, I naively thought the weight would fall off no matter what I ate (well that's what I was told!) and it hasn't shifted - except like you, a stone after he was born! I'm 2 stone heavier than when I got married, and although I don't want to get back to that, a stone would do! But my mind is just not in it right now. I loved WW when I was losing weight for my wedding so hopefully I can get that frame of mind back again!
