Hello everyone, sorry I haven't been around much. My boobs are still huge and sore, nausea comes and goes (though I only threw up once) and I'm eating like a pig. Does anyone else get uncontrollable cravings for whatever food happens to be shown on TV/mentioned by a friend/ written in an article?

Had my first sort-of-scan at 6 weeks and saw the sac and the heartbeat, going back to the dr next week for my monthly check (you have to love Belgium) and then to the scan specialist for my first "proper" scan at 12 weeks. Can't wait.

NichyNoo, I go from wishing the nausea away to panicking when it does stop and back all the time. I'm sure you'll find out that everything is ok on 19th. In the meantime, the Delhaize just off Place St Josse has crumpets, Hovis ones too!

Is it wrong that I just ate a Muller vanilla chocco balls corner, some olives and some microwave popcorn for lunch? Still hungry though

Allthe8s I have my booking in appointment at St Georges on Sunday. Are you ok? What has triggered your wobble?

The last time I was at St Geroges I was having my train track braces tightened at the orthodental unit . How things change!

Allthe8s I had an early scan just last week at St George's and although the receptionist at the EPU looked and acted like she was sucking a lemon, the actual sonographer was just sooooooo lovely. Very reassuring and considerate. Hope all goes well for you. We arrived bang on 8.30am and only waited about 10 minutes before we were seen. Try not to worry too much (easier said than done, I know).

im 6 weeks. their edd is 2 september but mine was 29th aug. Its twins so ill be having them in aug anyway so gonna stay put lol

Bewler I know how you feel about the symtoms and not worring the DP I am going through the same - yesterday no MS at all - but made up for it this morning by being sick first things (on my birthday - what a great present!) We'll be fine - we can look back and think what great pregnancies we had!!!

Good to see everyone still eating for England.... well we have an excuse now.

I'd say you've covered most of the major food groups there - diary, vegetables and carbohydrates! What's not to like?

After my snow day yesterday am back at work today - boooooo! Then off working for a few days tomorrow in big 'ol London Town, so will have to convince my colleagues I'm not drinking because I'm detoxing - they believed me at the Christmas party not sure they'll fall for it now - maybe they'll just think I'm a recovering alcoholic

Still throwing up like a good 'un but my craving for Big Macs has gone and has been replaced by grapes, love 'em, can't get enough, shame they're so expensive! Have updated my location (again, seems to keep dropping off everytime someone else updates their details) and knocked Boobz off due to her change of due date (assume she has joined the June thread?) hope that's OK.

Also I've added my age on if anyone else is interested in doing the same? I just wanted to get an idea if I'm really old to be having my first at nearly 35!

Starshaker, congratulations! I am very even though I already have twins and I will probably die if this pregnancy is twins again . Having twins is so special, everyone makes a big fuss of you. Are these your first? Were you on Clomid or ivf or are they just natural? I was on Clomid. Why did you get such an early scan? I found out at seven weeks that it was twins, early scan cos of previous m/c.

Sparkle with zees shelves you are really spoiling me (said in Ferrero Rocher accent) . I'm 30 in a few weeks and am determined to fight the urge to spend it in bed with a packet of Frazzles and do something sociable! Did your DH get you a prezzie?

It's good to know it's twins early cos you can really milk it . It's double the MS after all so would be such a waste to find out at 12wks!

Bewler good luck for Sunday, this is my first time booking in at St Gs as I was booked under Mayday for DD1 & DD2 (but delivered at St Gs) my booking in is on Tues with Melanie and my first consultant appoint is next Thursday with Austin Ugwamundu. I am ok, had a little spotting this morn and just made me feel uneasy as I lost dd2 in May (at 21 weeks). Don't want to harp on about it on this thread as it's not the right place. It was a very tiny amount and only once this morn but am getting it checked tomorrow...will be there at 8.30! Thanks for your kind words bouncingblueberries

9.00am pack of watermelon slices
11.00am 1 rolo cookie
13.30pm McDonald's cheese burger and fries
plus been sucking mint humbugs all day

Been catching up on all the posts. To those of you expecting your 6th, just to say, I don't know how you do it, and also, it's fantastic you are doing! I'm one of 6 and adore being part of a big family, though not intending to recreate this myself.

Im 8 + 2 an surely shouldn't be putting on weight yet, but I can't do up any of my work trousers. Think really it's just that I'm so bloated - have loads of wind and it's making me very uncomfortable (and not popular with DH!). Would i be really bad of my to buy some maternity clothe in the sales - it's not worth buying normal clothes now!

FloweryBoots, I put on my maternity leggings for the first time today - oh, the bliss . And I know exactly what you mean about it being more bloating than baby at the moment. But I feel your pain on the trousers front - I'm a SAHM at the moment so I can wander round with my jeans undone , but it must be very hard if you're working. Have you come across those little elastic band things you can loop round your trouser fastenings to give yourself an extra couple of inches? TBH I never got on with them that well myself, but some people swear by them (and they're only a couple of quid, so it's not a wasted investment).

Getting so at everyone's food diaries, especially the Frazzles. Like last time, I'm just craving carbs and dairy - I think I could quite happily live on pasta in cheese sauce for the next nine months. Though I'm already looking forward to my creamy chicken curry washed down with key lime pie tonight - yummmmmmm.

Thought id update me lol

Updated for me. Did the deed at work today. Didn't exactly go down like a lead balloon but certainly like a balloon just filled with something slightly less heavy than lead. Boss said all the right things but the enthusiasm was definitely missing. And I have to go through it all again tomorrow with my location manager. Joy

I bought some travel sickness bands today and for the first time ever at 5.30 pm I am not smothering retching with fake coughs. Hurrah!

My food cravings are all over the place, am desperately trying to find something I enjoy. Stuff I normally like when pg, ie mash, gravy, porridge, etc is all of limits cos can't stand it, am craving fresh, fruit and salads, good for the expanding waistline.

Need to find a drink too, the ginger tea turns my stomach, peppermint same, have been drinking lucozade and diet coke. Not particularly healthy

So who's next for twins then? Am slightly at star but realistically, nahhh not when it would be numbers 6 and 7!! Ok for one of you first time or 2nd time mummies maybe?
