3 x BFP this morning!

Even bought an expensive clearblue digital test to be sure!

My DD will be 1st September 2010 and this will be my 2nd baby. My DS was 2 weeks late so will def be September not August!!!

Anyone else...?

I haven't posted since I got my + test result as have had no pregnancy symptoms except extreme tiredness and no periods!! Sorry for those who have had it really bad..

But anyway had my 12 week scan today and all good. Had nuchal scan/bloods and don't need any further tests either.... and heard baby's heartbeat for the first time so all feels real now.

Agree with you Bessie123 re Top Shop being crap for Maternity clothes if you are aged over 20 ... M&S do have some reasonable maternity leggings/smart black dresses for work in their larger stores...but I'm a SAHM so don't need work gear/money's tight - am just digging out original maternity gear/staking out eBay!

upsoearly I know everyones already said this but yes, I get the most awful pains and cramps. I did with ds too.

I found Primark quite good for clothes. They don't do a maternity range but the clothes are so cheap just buy a bigger size. Trousers might be different of course but a handy tip for tops is if you're not getting maternity ones go for nice long ones or ones that when you hold them up the front is longer than the back so there's enough material to go over the bump! Also bear in mind that when we're all big and round it'll be the middle of summer so dresses are the way to go! I also had a couple of pairs of cropped jeans from the Red Herring section in Debenhams!

H&M Mama is ace - especially for summer maternity clothes (or at least it was when I was last pregnant!) - cheap and reasonably trendy. But I don't think all branches of H&M carry the maternity clothes which is a shame. I remember Red Herring being good too. I must have spent a fortune on mat clothes last time and honestly, it was such a waste of money. Cheap and cheerful is the way to go, I feel!

Hi everyone. Had some bad news following our scan this evening. Could you take me off the list please.

I'm a bit nervous about having to go through "procedures" tomorrow but had deliberately not let myself bond with this baby until the 12 week scan. Therefore, I'm feeling sad, of course, but quite philosophical; the baby didn't develop because there was something wrong with it - it really just wasn't compatible with life. I'm hugely lucky as I have two beautiful, healthy children. This one just wasn't meant to be.

What sad news, Maitri. I hope that everything today has gone as well as it could do.

It has been another beautifully sunny day here today. The only downside is that all this sunlight flooding in shows up how utterly filthy our house is! Can't summon up any energy/enthusiasm for cleaning so have been pottering gently in the garden and treated myself to a long soak in the bath, listening to the radio and reading chick lit. Twas marvellous.

Hope everyone is doing ok and that morning sickness is starting to fade away.

have been for my scan today, just one baby thank god! they have changed my date from the 9th to the 7th so have updated the list.

Have had my scan today also, and Ive also been upgraded a week, but they wouldnt give me a date . She said its not exact but looks like Im a week earlier than thought. I think that might technically take me into August, but as I���´ll probably go over Im sticking here if that���´s OK.

Maitri how awful. A very close friend of mine had a mmc last september. It was horrible for her but she's now pregnant again and has just had her 20wk scan. She had the same attitude as you. These things happen for a reason. Hope you've got through today ok.

bellabelly I've got the estate agent coming round on Thurs to take photos! My house is awful! I wish I could just click my fingers. I need a maid!

And the big news..........I think I felt movement last night . I know its early but there was a definate tickle on the inside. I felt ds at 16 weeks & am almost 14 weeks now & they do say you feel 2nd babies sooner because you know what it feels like!! Hope everyone else has had a good day!

Bellabelly - the garden! I have started just pulling the curtains so I dont have to think of it!

Am back to work - ugh! I am so tired and apathetic. Eating getting a little better - seem to have had 3 days reprieve from stomach problem and had no pain. Mad twinges of pain in lower abdomen at times - if I move to quickly. Not showing at all but only 11 weeks although as this is my 3rd thought I would be. Was in mat pants at 13 weeks last time. Hate not having a scan again til 20 weeks - want to hear the baby! Need all the reassurance I can get.

Havent told people Im pregnant yet - part of me afraid to jinx things as not 12 weeks til monday but think for the most part Im still too flattened after loosing dad. Dont want people looking at me with the 'awwh' face. (nice but sad) Think I need to feel happier to spread the news. Does this make sense? Oh I dont know - bit of wreck these days.

Mammy G, I think I kind of know how your are feeling. I know it's not the same, but my beloved dog lost the use of his legs a few weeks back, we thought we'd have to let him go, I was so sad, he's only 5. Anyway, I just wanted to totally ignore pregnancy and didn't want to tell anyone because I felt so guilty having any feelings of happiness.

Maitri - I'm so sorry to hear your news and hope you're okay.

I'm now 14 weeks and the morning sickness is few and far between thankfully, so there is light at the end of the tunnel. I still get it in the evenings if I don't eat by about 7.30pm but I can deal with that.

I picked up a few things in the shops the other day whilst the sun was shining. H&M have a good maternity range called H&M Mama. I got some leggings and some really nice beige combat-style trousers which can be full length or 3/4. Perfect for spring and summer. They are unbelievably comfy but sadly it's not quite warm enough for them. There were some nice tops too, but I don't think most of the spring and summer stuff is out yet, and there doesn't seem much point in buying things for now. I am being very optimistic that the weather will warm up very soon!

The best jeans I have found are Seraphine bootcut jeans which have an elastic panel which sits under your bump and they look like normal jeans. They were about £60 but I wore them every day of my last pregnancy so they were worth it. I'll be in them again soon, but they have got a bit stretched around the waist so I have to hoik them up a lot at the moment.

Hello ladies

Well, I had my scan on Monday and all is well. Can't believe how clear the picture is! Can't stop looking at it! I'm a bit obsessed. Defo seems more real now!

DH was tearful but I just couldn't stop smiling. We were there almost 3 hours with scan, consultation and blood tests.

From their measurements, I'm now 10 weeks and 5 days not 11 weeks and 2 days so I will up date the list with new DD, 4 days later than expected.

Hope everyone is feeling good today. And I'm hoping my obsession with sweet green grapes will wear off soon before I look like one.

Oh, and thanks for all the advice on maternity wear. Can't wait to have a bump now xx

Hello All,

I'm sorry to read about the way you're feeling MammyG. Not long to go to the 12 week milestone now.

After work away from home came to an abrupt end am now kicking my heels (I'm self employed). Have a couple of other bits of work to do but after stress of last few weeks have decided to take it easy for a few days. Today I'm looking for hols on the net and plan to bake bread, do an exercise DVD, watch Madmen (I'm a Madmen virgin and just got given the box set for seasons 1 & 2) and have a nap.

Is anyone else planning a summer holiday? DH and I feel we could really do with a relaxing sun break but it's all so pricey! We are thinking of a half board type option. We usually go for self catering, but not sure I fancy lots of washing up and cooking when heavily pregnant. Will keep looking. DH fancies the Gambia or Cape Verde but I'm a bit worried about being far away from a choice of good antenatal medical facilities so I'm plugging Italy or France.

Bananastew IKWYM about movements. I think I started to feel them a few days ago, although I'm only 12 weeks. Last time it was about 16/17 weeks.

I went for a scan at the EPU this morning as I haven't been able to shake the feeling that something wasn't right. However I'm glad to say all is looking good at the moment and we saw the little munchkin wriggling about. Am so relieved and determined to relax now! Glad your scan went well Jodylea - it's so amazing to see your baby for the first time, isn't it?

Can't believe some of you are feeling movements already - I can't wait - I found it so reassuring last time.

lovetodance - we booked tickets to Glastonbury (before we found out) we are not camping as such, but have hired a motorhome.... glad we did as i will be 6 months by then. The last time i went i was five months pregnant with DD1.. I WASNT comfy in the sleeping bag!! nothing else planned as yet, may just do a holiday cottage south way, July/August time.

I bought a great pair of jeans online from DP few days ago. I have to have longer length, and these fit perfect. Not so keen on under bump stuff, i feel like i have 'fat' hanging over the top.... have to have it all tucked in!

for those that have felt movements, could it have been uterus contractions? I only say becasue i SWEAR i have felt something last week, which is daft as i would have only been ten weeks.... i put it down to stretching... but then i thought, what if i am further along than i think, this is my fourth and i know what it feels like... hmm oh well scan will tell!

I tell you what, my MS has been replaced with horrid headaches, i am trying to drink a shed load of water, but they come on morning noon or night, and very intense... anyone else suffering?
