Hello everyone! Welcome to the second thread! Hope you are happy enough that I've gone ahead with this title! If not, I won't be mortally offended if you ditch it and start again!

Here is the list - hope it is more or less up-to-date. Apologies if you're missing, please add yourself on. Pogue - we don't have you on here. Scared - are you still around? Perhaps you've moved to the May thread. Let us know how you're doing.

GibberingGinger · 20/01/2010 16:01

Just to point out that the thread is getting very close to it's limit of 1000 posts, so look out for a new June thread very soon. Any witty title suggestions?

ASecretLemonadeDrinker · 20/01/2010 18:14

Cadmum, I haven't been on long but I am so sorry x {hugs}

MrsAlwaysRight · 20/01/2010 18:46

So sorry to hear your sad news Cadmum

Cadmum · 20/01/2010 20:08

Tis utter rubbish actually.

I have a scan tomorrow at 9:30 am to determine if the placenta is high enough for an induction...

If not then it is C Section for me. I am f'ing terrified. I am a complete flood of useless bitter tears.

Thanks for your condolences. May you never, ever have to experience anything similar (let alone in your second language thousands of miles from friends and family).

Dh is here with me. He has tomorrow and Friday off. The dc's will stay with friends. We are as sorted as we can possibly be. Again, thanks for your well wishes. I wish you all the best.

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/01/2010 20:11

Oh gosh Cadmum - it hadn't occurred to me that the placenta could still be a problem in these circumstances. I pray that you don't have to have a c-section.

greensnail · 20/01/2010 20:23

Also praying you don't have to have a c-section Cadmum. Glad you've got friends there who can look after your dc's and that your DH is with you. Must be so scary being in a strange country with all of this to deal with. Will be thinking of you and your family.

MonkeyMargot · 20/01/2010 20:44

so sorry cadmum. Such sad news. Truly hope your DH is looking after you.

LittleRobbo · 20/01/2010 21:32

cadmum try and rest, and try to keep strong, all our thoughts are with you at this awful time, and your poor DH also.

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/01/2010 21:37

How did the other ladies get on with their scans today? Please don't stay away because of Cadmum's bad news - I'm sure that she wouldn't want that, and it would be nice to hear some good news on the thread .

greensnail · 20/01/2010 21:58

CSWS I was just about to post the same thing, have been wondering about the other scans today. Hoping to hear some happier news on the thread

justbeme · 20/01/2010 22:17

So very sorry Cadmum - Lots of virtual hugs coming your way from everyone on here I'm sure and we'll be thinking of you.

gaelicsheep · 20/01/2010 23:16

Cadmum - I am so so sorry for your loss. I'm thinking of you. xx
