selling or buying is so stressful!!!
i like the patent with velcro they say that they are allowed dark school shoes would u classify that as dark red and dark blue i thought so

Diege · 11/11/2009 13:04

Yep, would class the fushia as being more an oxblood red which is a dark colour IMO.
Listening out for the postvan

Diege · 11/11/2009 13:19

Wheelybug here Agree, very cute, and I love the tail!

tinkisthrillerthrillernight · 11/11/2009 13:29

it is tiny isnt it have been spinning it around

Diege · 11/11/2009 14:04

Lol, have vision of YOU spinning around on it Thinking I may actually giving it to ds for xmas, as think he'll probably be ready for it (more as a crawling aid than sitting on) before June.

tinkisthrillerthrillernight · 11/11/2009 15:27

lol diege - it says up to 50lbs to ride so i am well within the weight i dint want to break it!!! what an image!!!! lol
how old is ds?!
dd2 is 10 mnths in 8 days time.
i sat her on wheelbug and her feet dont touch the ground not far off though!!
it is so cute glad i went for the tiger

Diege · 11/11/2009 15:33

Ds is 5 months end of the week. I've also sat him on it (so much for surprises!) and his feet do touch floor when stretched out but obviously nowhere near sitting up stage! He did grab hold of the ears up and dribble down the face

Diege · 11/11/2009 15:37

Noooo TINKS you can't be within the weight limit surely...There are 14ibs in a stone so that would make you, let's see, just under 4 stone In other words, get off it now woman!!!

Diege · 11/11/2009 15:41

Just OVER 4 stone I mean...

Diege · 11/11/2009 15:42

Oh god I don;t know but you're too heavy for it

essenceofSES · 11/11/2009 16:20

LOL at you two and your bugs We could have bug races!

Just back from visiting 2nd nursery and actually have a better overall feeling about this one. Nice garden area with large part sectioned off for under twos, all cots in baby room, little campbeds in other rooms, all sleep areas in separate rooms, generally pretty spacious. My main question from prospectus was that they woulddn't store EBM but they've said they do if parents sign a disclaimer over contamination so I can consider what I'd do. They're also open slightly longer than the other one I looked at but still slightly cheaper! Finally one of the other babies in our NCT group may be going there too.
Lots to think about!

Moosy · 11/11/2009 16:24

I don't have a syndicate going yet, shall I start one?

EDD: 6th December
(DD1 14 days late, 3.10pm, 7lb 9.5oz, DD2 3 days late, 7.13pm, 7lb 10.5oz)

Moosy - 3rd December, 1.16pm, 7lb 11.5oz.

Sorry about you being messed about even more Diege, lets hope you get some good news tomorrow.

I got nearly all my Christmas shopping done today . Rather annoyingly though, Mint stopped my card before I'd finished, apparently they do it if you use it 10 times in one day! [grr]

My parents are visiting my brother at the weekend and will be bringing back some newborn stuff and I'll be 37 weeks on sunday, so DD3's welcome to turn up any time after that!

Diege · 11/11/2009 16:26

ooh SES that does sound good. Bit puzzling about EBM disclaimer though What about if you;re leaving bottles of formula, do they worry about contamination of that too? Probably getting the wrong end of the stick totally here! My nursery were fine with storing EBM, though have to say work were pretty poor about arrangments for storing it (didn't want it in same fridge as cow's milk ) so supply dwindled pretty quickly (not that yours will!).Probably worried that someone would put it in their coffee
Right, ds up for nap and having 30 mins with the tv (Deal No Deal)!!!

Hi all,

I have had a tough few nights - DD is bored of sleeping all night and has started having trouble settling . Luckily she still goes down at 11 and sleeps till 3.30 or 4ish but after that she just won't settle again - she sleeps for 10min then wakes up crying and that carries on until I give up around 7 and get up. I know that is more than some babies manage but it has come as such a shock after her sleeping so well. She hasn't been napping well during the day either - the same thing, waking every 10mins and needing to be soothed back to sleep. She can be soothed really quickly but it being so constant is draining and DP is away for the next 2 days . I don't know why she has started it - giving her the dummy may have been a mistake as she wakes when she drops it, she might be over-tired as she hasn't slept much during the day, wind or maybe it's just one of those things?? I have been really strict about putting her down for naps today and she has been less grumpy so hopefully she will settle better tonight. Sorry for the moan.

Tink and Diege - LOL at you two racing your bugs !

Ses - nursery sounds good. It's tough isn't it. Our work nursery has a two year waiting list which isn't helpful so I had to find another one and I didn't know what to look for. I've put down a deposit at my favourite but I'm hoping to meet some mums who have used it before she starts.

Moosy - how annoying but very impressed you have nearly finished your shopping. I have managed to get a few pressies - mostly for the kids - but have loads left to do.

Hi to everyone else - I have been reading your news but every time I start a post DD wakes up and I can't balance her and the laptop on my knee .

essenceofSES · 11/11/2009 19:18

Why is it the silliest of things get me stressed & upset?
I had a Tesco delivery booked for between 4&6pm. They usually come within the first 20mins. I was due to give DS his veggies for his tea around 4pm so decided to hold off until Tesco had been as he's not stable enough in his highchair to be left. Tesco didn't come til 5.30pm. Tried giving DS his veggies but he was just too tired.
Also stressing about being away from him for tomorrow's KIT day.
Also DH not home yet and not answering his phone.
Tesco shopping still sitting in the porch and I've got stuff I need to print off for tomorrow's meeting.
Feel a bit pathetic (again!)

At least DS is just about asleep but I think he was too tired to have a big enough pre-bedtime feed.

Moos- will do your syndicate later as I'm on my phone now.

Just a quick one to post on Moosy's sydincate.

IDOB - sounds like you're doing brilliantly and DD is too. Well done on perservering with settling her for sleeps - it will pay off in the end. She may be going through a growth spurt, so more concerned with feeding than sleeping? Sending you positive vibes for next couple of days on your own.

Ses - glad 2nd nursery visit went well. FWIW, your write-up of 2nd nursery sounds more positive than the 1st, so maybe your mind is made up subconsciously, or maybe it's just that the 1st one was the 1st one you'd seen?

Right, must tidy up...

Star - I think you're right. I can picture using the nursery I saw today IYKWIM.

DH now home but on the phone for work. He just asked what time I was going & back tomorrow. I said about 7.45am til about 6ish. He said "Really? What am I going to do?"
I need an evil grin emoticon
