Hi All,

Just to let you know that the scan went well and everything is fine. Except the baby was had a little big stomach, which could mean 1) it was laying in a funny position and could mean nothing 2) That the baby will be big and it could mean I could get diabetes towards the end of the pregnancy. So they are keeping an eye on it.

To tell you the truth I have not been feeling well at all, but that could be the hormones.

Okay, DH and I will be having another girl which is lovely. Was wishing it was a boy so we get one of each but hey I am so happy. Now comes the dilimma as we choose the boys name but never thought of a girls one. So any ideas let me know... my DDs name is Nyah so it has to match with that and we cant have a K or C as it will not work with our surname.

Any thoughts ideas will be great.

Love
Cindy

iggypiggy · 03/12/2009 11:23

c1ndy excellent news about another girl and that the scan was good

Hmmm is Nyah an Irish type of name? (I know it is from Mission Impossible as well!) You could go for something like Saoirse or Aoife? I like Ciara - but guess that wouldn't work.. Will have a think!

C1NDY · 04/12/2009 09:47

Iggy thanks, I think Nyah could be Irish or African... I am thinking of the name Amber and am hoping she will have reddish brownish hair as my daughter otherwise the name will be odd

Nyah and Amber go together... hummmm, still plenty of time to decide

C1NDY · 04/12/2009 09:48

Iggy I forgot to ask... goush its all about me! hahaha, must be the hormones. Howz you? not long for the scan eh?

iggypiggy · 04/12/2009 10:04

Amber is a lovely name! I think Golden hair also works with Amber but agree anything reddish will work!

I feel terrible today so quite pleased to be feeling sick as I didn't last time...

Scan on monday - terrified!

C1NDY · 04/12/2009 15:22

Iggy Good luck. My fingers and toes are crossed for you. I am sure everything will be fine. Let us know as soon as possible as I will be sitting here on Monday not being able to concentrate on my work and twidderling my thumbs. Just try and relax.

Have a wonderful weekend
Take care

Iggy How did the scan go? I have noticed you have not posted. I am hoping you are okay.

smileycat · 11/12/2009 15:41

Hi C1ndy just logged on to see how everyone was congratulations on having another girl when are you due?
Im sure you will come up with the perfect name before the birth
Katie is doing really well, she is now nearly 14 weeks, she giggles lots, loves to stand up on my knee all the time, hates lying on her back and has really found her voice lately and chats away happily to her teddies.
Hope everyone else is fine and Happy Christmas to you all if I dont get on again before the big day xx

C1NDY · 14/12/2009 14:47

Hi Smiley I am due on 2 April at 10:30am, yes going to have a csec. Arh that's lovely news about Katie... I can't wait to see my little one when she finally shows an appearance. I am going to call her Reese ... but am not sure of the middle names yet as one of the names must be after an Arsenal player! I know, I know... but my husband is footy mad.

Iggy please let me know all is well. I am so thinking of you. x

C1NDY · 17/12/2009 11:00

Iggy I am starting to worry now, can you please let me know how you are.

wasabipeanut · 18/12/2009 19:13

Hi everyone,

Just thought I'd have a peek for the latest news! I don't get much time to MN these days what with moving, sorting the house, prepping for Xmas and a new baby plus looking after the one I already have! DS is increasingly reluctant to nap during the day so those 2 hour MN marathons I used to enjoy in the afternoons are becoming a thing of the past!

All is well here - I am 33 weeks now (nearly 34) and hooooge! The pregnancy has been uncomplicated so fingers crossed the birth will proceed the same way! I am getting a bit uncomfy it has to be said but that's life.

I logged on to see if Funtime had made a birth announcement but I guess she's busy! Funtime, if you're out there let us know how you're getting on!

Cindy Gosh, time has flown hasn't it? I'm so happy for you that you are expecting another DD. I'm sure you'll have lots of fun name choosing.

Iggy I had no idea you had got a BFP - it's been ages since I lurked on the old thread. Congratulations! I am however slightly concerned to see you had a scan but haven't posted the result although am hoping this is due to Xmas busyness!

C1NDY · 22/12/2009 09:42

Hi Wasabi 34 weeks, goush not long now really. I finish work here on the 1st Feb, so not long for me now to rest before the baby is due. I am finding it hard though, juggling a full time job and looking after DD. I am hooge as you put it too! but am only 24 weeks.

I saw Iggy post on other threads but she has decided to wait until 12 weeks I think so is hiding in the sand until then. I became worried so checked the other sites. Glad she is okay.

Any how you take care Wasabi and keep us posted when you can. I may stop posting soon as its gone really quite in here and may just post once a month.

Take care

Cindy

P.s. Merry Xmas to all!!

Pezzina · 22/12/2009 14:54

Hi all,

Sorry I've not been on for ages. Have been getting to grips with motherhood and boy! does it take up all of your time!! Am loving it though . Little Sofia is just over three months old and just loves to chat and smile. She has me wrapped around her little finger. My DH and I are really looking forward to her first Christmas - although she is just bemused by it all.

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and I wish you all the very best of luck for 2010!! Especially to all those lovely girlies that are expecting their little ones. xx

C1NDY · 05/01/2010 09:28

Hi All,

Am doing really well. I am on the 12 week count down now and cant believe how the time has flown by. I am leaving work in February and my maternity will start in March and I have decided to take a year off. My DD aged 3 is getting use to the idea but I am huge now and its getting hard to keep up with her... I only have a bump but its big and I keep thinking what will I look like at the end of March!

I go back to work on Monday and its going to be heads down as I have to train two people and also to ensure I finish up on all my projects before February.... so I only have 4 weeks, so will be really busy. I will try and pop in and see how you are all doing.

Pezzina So happy to hear from you and that you are battling on with being a mother... I am sure two must take up all your time. I am thinking how am I going to cope with two as my DD is such a handful! Work is really keeping me busy and I just can't wait till the 1st Feb where I can just slow down and rest. DH and I have decided to place our DD in nursery for two days a week and his parents will take her for one day which leaves me with her for two days. I am soooo tired and am find sleeping difficult with the bump as I constantly get kicked just as I am comfortable! So I am now sleeping on the sofa which is really comfy. I am hoping the sofa can take me to the 2nd April otherwise I will not be sleeping at all.

Speak to you all soon. Here's to a great New Year!! hugs all around.

Cindy
xx

iggypiggy · 05/01/2010 10:03

Hi All - sorry not to have posted! I have now had 2 scans - the 12 week one was yesterday and all was well

Nice to see you wasabi

Hope there is news from funtime too...

cindy can't believe you only have 12 weeks to go!! very exciting!

C1NDY · 05/01/2010 12:57

Iggy Glad to hear everything is fine with you. I was worried when I heard nowt but found you on another thread. Hopefully you can now relax and just enjoy the pregnancy. I will look out for your updates as your pregnancy progresses.

funtimewincies · 11/01/2010 19:11

Hello chaps, found you all again !

I though that the thread had ground to a halt, so had nowhere to post a birth announcement and on the spur of the moment I thought that I'd check to see if anyone had popped back up again.

Well, after loads of false alarms, I had another gorgeous ds on Dec 6th, weighing in at a diddy 6lb 9oz.

It was a bit dramatic. I'd been to the hospital in the morning but sent home as eveything stalled. We had a family birthday party for ds in the afternoon (his birthday is the 7th) and then at 7.04pm I had the first of a series of MASSIVE contraction - no build-up, just 0-60 like in the soaps . Got mum over to babysit, dash to the hospital, only to be told that I was only 3 cm. To cut a long story short, half an hour later, while the midwife was out getting the antibiotics, the last of my waters went, almost no urge to push and ds was crowning . I was still standing up, dh ran for help and ds2 tumbled to the floor, bungeeing on his cord.

I'll never forget the 'splat' sound when he hit the floor. Cue lots of people, me gibbering on the floor and ds2 yelling his little heart out.

Luckily all was well, he was fine and I eventually calmed down . We stayed in for 48 hours just to be safe, but he's a little smasher and feeds really well. Ds1 is a brilliant big brother. I can't believe that ds2 is 5 weeks already!

Iggy - great news and I can't believe that C1NDY has so little time left to go.

C1NDY · 12/01/2010 09:58

Funtime oh my goush. Your real life story would have made a smash hit wonder in a soap!! So pleased for you as you had quite a bit of a bumpy ride with this one. I really do not have long to go... welll 10 weeks I think (may be 10 and half). I have two and a bit weeks at work and will be home from the 1st Feb... I have grown and my back is starting to pain me now. At least I know that on the 2nd April the baby will be here unless of course she decides to come early!

What is the little one's name? oh and if you had a girl name what was it, as I am struggling to find a girls name that I like and time is running out.... I have updated the chart:-

Updated list...
