brilliant.... maybe it can be a jan shopping trip then?

Think the museums can wait till next spring/summer so we can do something nice for lunch too- picnic etc with all the DC's...

joe's last three feeds have been EBM only with no need for formula topups, so feeling much more positive. yesterday was hard as it was dd's 1st day at preschool and i was so sad to miss it. mum said she loved it! she was very proud of her new book bag (grin)!
diege, the CLAPA site looks fab. he has a cleft of the soft palate, so no hair lip, but compliated by very small lower jaw and the PRS. just had a lovely cuddle wit him and itll be easier when we get home as will be able to lie down with him.
wish i could come shopping/to the meet up too!!

glaskham · 05/09/2009 12:26

Kooky... maybe you could join myself and diege in manchester in jan? not sure where in the country you are... but sure there would be a fairly cheap travelodge or similar if you needed... it'd be lovely to meet you in RL!!

Well done on the expressing enough to cover feeds- i did find that was when i started feeling better about things, knowing i could express enough to cover DD2's feeds myself was a goal- it meant i knew i'd be ready for when she came home- with plenty of milk for her.

hi KOOKY congratulations on your DS im sorry to hear about him being in scbu and all the complications, i know how tough it must be as i saw my siter GLASK go through it not so long ago. just hope that you can have him home soon with you, without all the machines and nurses etc. hope your as well as can be

Diege · 05/09/2009 15:00

Wow KOOKY well done, that's brilliant . Would be great to see you too, maybe for shopping as Glask suggests? Not sure where is the country you are either, but they'll be spare room at the new house if you want to stop over before shopping day? (offer open to all wagoneers btw!).
GLASK, late Jan sounds good to me! I get paid on 25th, so maybe Sat 30th if that's any good?
Think the movicol is finally taking some effect on dd3 after 5 sachets!!! Not that a poo has appeared but there's some squatting and straining going on...

Kooky - wow! you're doing so well. You brought a tear to my eye when I read you're update. Star, Glask and Diege have given you some great advice and support.

2 weeks today is the York meet up!!

I'm just watching the football and then X Factor later.

Diege · 05/09/2009 18:05

Hi SES! Hoping to watch x-factor too, though I wish they'd make it a little later as puts the pressure on bed-wise with the dds!
Hi Boden - shopping sounds good

glaskham · 05/09/2009 18:24

Diege- sounds like your in need of a sky+ box!! then you can record it and watch it in peace when they're all tucked up asleep like i do!!

How exciting that its only 2 weeks today till we'll be getting drenched sunbathing and picnicing in York!!

yay cant wait to go gets us out for a change.

glaskham · 05/09/2009 18:35

can't decide what to make for tea- its an 'out of the freezer and into the oven' jobby tonight... can't decide between chicken breast bites or mini kievs..... dont really have a taste for either, fancy salmon but didn't get it out to defrost so can't have that tonight!!

essenceofSES · 05/09/2009 18:36

Hi Diege, Glask, MMM

Yup! We Sky+ X Factor too!

I'm stewing some of our windfall apples at the moment. I hate seeing them go to waste!

essenceofSES · 05/09/2009 18:37

We're having chicken and veg in tomato sauce with pasta. V easy & v tasty!

glaskham · 05/09/2009 18:39

ooh- i'd love that put i put the chicken into the freezer too- have a nasty habit of forgetting its in the fridge so freeze all meat and fish now so not to waste anything!! PITA when i fancy something late in the day though!!

I'll have to be stewing pears soon... they're looking very ready!!

OP posts:
essenceofSES · 05/09/2009 18:40

I'll swap you some apples for some pears!

glaskham · 05/09/2009 18:46

i could do that.... how would i be best to do it? take em off now? or leave them on till the day or so before york?

OP posts:
glaskham · 05/09/2009 18:52

bit of a silly question i know- have only ever taken them off last year and just took the load off, ate em and that was it... DH has just got back and said he'll take em off late on in the week before i'm coming to york. Dont think i'll be bringing the pram but will get as many as i can into my backpack.

OP posts:
essenceofSES · 05/09/2009 18:54

If they'll last, just bring them ripe from the tree. I'll be bringing a load up when I come on the Thurs to give some to my friends I'm staying with.

Kayzr · 06/09/2009 06:28

Morning,

We had a great time yesterday, it is such good fun there. I can't wait to take the boys. They had a great day with my Mum. They went to Whitby and my brother pushed DS2 up the ramp next to the 199 steps. He is mad!!

I am fuming with (D)H. I am sick of having to get up between half 5 and 6 every morning and him not appearing until about 7. Do you think being married to a lazy git is a reason for divorce or murder?

Hope everyone is well.

maxxymoosmummy · 06/09/2009 08:04

mornin all, how is everyone doing?

any news KOOKY? Hope all is still well

kookykid · 06/09/2009 08:13

morning mmm!
diege, i am in suffolk.
had a good night, apart from huge hot norks!! had forgotten about that little side effect! joe also had a good night and i slept while the wonderful nurses looked after him. so we'll see what today brings, at least dh is allowed back now.
have a nice sunday everyone.

essenceofSES · 06/09/2009 08:41

Morning all!

Kooky - glad you both had ok nights. Ah, yes! The huge hot norks! Hope you're not too uncomfy.
Mine are still huge. I said to mum the other day that all I could see in photos of me at O's baptism was these huge boobs. She said "Well that's what you get for BFing!" I think getting some better bras would help actually...

DH has hurt his back. He's feeling a bit sorry for himself.

Need to get lots of little housey jobs done today. Better go and get on...

maxxymoosmummy · 06/09/2009 08:44

awww thats good that you both had a good night. hope all the rest are the same for you both

KAY glad you had a good time yesterday. shame about having to get up all the time when DH could sometimes. im up all the tims through the night but thats due to me being n my own. so i wouldnt know how it is to have to when you shouldnt all the time. hope it gets better for you. kinda think divorce or murder is a little drastic haha

Diege · 06/09/2009 08:49

Murder sounds fair . Same sort of situation here, but with dd3 last night...I remember that ramp by the steps KAYZ; yes, your brother is mad!
Hi KOOKY! Get some chilled cabbage leaves down there!!Glad you had a restful night
H1 MMM! SES, jobs to do here too, do they ever end!!
Off for a shower now (the luxury). Speak later!
