IDOB & GS- i'm the same- can't give the big pants up.... hadn't actually bought any as expected things to be fine, then had to send DH for the biggest ones he could find after my section- his instructions were 'find the biggest ones you can find- the ones that are so big even your mother wouldn't wear them'- and he got it spot on!! They come up to my belly-button!!.... they'll be very ideal for winter!!

Well.... DD2 must have heard me yesterday as she slept the best ever last night!! She had a dream feed at 10.30ish when i went to bed (after making DH watch mean girls!!) then only woke at 3am and 6.30am for feeds, then went straight back to sleep until 8am when the other 2 came up to see when i'd make them breakfast!! DS had come and put the wii on for them both to play!! and i slept through it all!! so now i'm feeling tired as my body is being greedy for more sleep- but i can handle that!!

Think i'm going out with MMM and her DS today... i'm hoping to get a coat for the winter (and my holiday).

kookykid · 08/09/2009 08:46

Diege · 08/09/2009 10:08

Morning! That's great news KOOKY - will be great to get home. Look forward to hearing how things go on with 24 hour care
CANT, enjoy coat-shopping!
BODEN, I would say either pick out a colour from the dress for the top (ie. brown, not pale blue though or it will look a bit washed out). Agree, limegreen would look good for tights and would 'lift' the whole look of the outfit.
Right, best go J crying

bodenaddict · 08/09/2009 10:34

cheers diege & cant oh ye font of all knowledges
was actually getting citrus tites to go with it was thinking of these tops in the brown or white

www.boden.co.uk/en-GB/Girls-Tops-and-T-shirts/31344/Girls-Fitted-T-shirt.html

was originally going to get brown dress with flowers says 9 weeks for stock

Diege · 08/09/2009 10:43

The delays on Boden stock are a real pain . I have bits ordered that say up to 10 weeks wait. I wouldn't normally bother but dd1 has her heart set on a pair of purple trousers that aren't sue in until NOv . Just difficult keeping up with what's coming out of your account!

bodenaddict · 08/09/2009 13:30

diege - it is a pain isnt it!!
i am due to order bits fri & following tues.

only things that i wanted that r on 9 weeks wait r green heart trousers, brown bb dress. everything else seems ok.
on fri will order blue and purple spotty heart trousers and prob bb dress

GruffaloSoldier · 08/09/2009 13:32

Good morning

Well, GC went 7.00pm - 7.30am last night. He took a while to settle and woke briefly at 6 ish as he was wedged up against the cot spars but its the second night without the dream feed so we seem to be on the right track.

KK - hope the 24 hour care goes well and you have your boy home in no time at all.

Cant - great on DD2 sleeping!that sounds like progress, and bless DS for sorting him and DD1 out with wii, sounds like a little gem.

Diege and Boden sorry to hear that boden cant keep up with your shopping habits order demand. lol

hi to everyone else!

Diege · 08/09/2009 15:01

Hi GRUFF! LOL about shopping habits . Great that df has been dropped; what a difference to your eveining that must make What made you decide to drop it out of interest? J is only taking about 2 ozs at that feed, and would love to drop it so that I can go to bed earlier. Scared that he'll wake up though!

GruffaloSoldier · 08/09/2009 15:16

hi Diege,

well he very rarely woke for that feed so I mostly had to wake him. The last week or so he has really not been happy with me waking him and being sooo sleepy. he would take most or al of the bottle but then sleep til 8am the next day and not be particularly bothered about feeding.

when we came back from Warwick on Sunday, he fed later than normal (8ish) and then settled nearer 9 so decided to leave him to see how he went and he woke at 6.40am! so last night I wanted to see how he went in normal routine with going to bed at 7pm.

however he is very grumpy today and not napping well which is unlike him so I might see how we go...

Diege · 08/09/2009 15:21

Oh no keep with it GRUFF! Tis normal to take a few days to sdjust to new routine, but he really does seem to be ready for it - I wouldn't look back if I were you!
Really must force myself out of the house - very tired, plus have been lured by daytime tv. Love that Houseswap programme (does anyone actually swop??)but J is complaining now so quick walk round the block is in order!

GruffaloSoldier · 08/09/2009 16:17

Yeah maybe I'll give it a week and see how we go - especially as hes seems refluxy and had teeth trouble in the day yesterday so might just be that. Its always a guessing game here!

Also, are there any BLWers about as GC just swiped my marmite on toast and tried to eat it he is only 21 weeks (5months next week) not to mention the salt content etc. I wrestled it off him but am worried that I have made it negative for him now at the same time should i be letting him explore appropriate foods if he wants it?

idreamofbeanie · 08/09/2009 16:54

Hi all,

another lazy day here. I went to Bumps and Babes this morning with a couple of girls from NCT - we were having such a lovely time chatting and giggling the poor woman had to practically shove us out the door . Then I had some lunch, watched some baby programs on sky then had a haircut. I'm enjoying this ML lark.

Boden and Diege - sorry the shops aren't keeping up with your demand .

Gruff - great news on GC sleeping through and hopefully he won't be grumpy for long.

KK - hope the 24hr care thing goes well and you can take Joe home tomorrow !

CMHAB - hope you had a good day out with MMM. I'd better not let DP see all the posts about the big pants - he'll bin them now if he thinks I might think about keeping them .

bodenaddict · 08/09/2009 17:25

lol @ keeping up with demand should set up our own shop that is always stocked

Sparklytwinkletoes · 08/09/2009 18:06

Pants. Just typed a really long post and then lost it all.

Oh well. Saved you all from reading my dross!

KK, great news, hope the 24 hour care thing is manageable so that you can take joe home really soon. x

Starshinetiger · 08/09/2009 20:04

Been so busy, no time to check or post recently. My baby turned 3 today - where did the time go?! Had his birthday party on Saturday, which he loved and then my Mum came over today for his actual birthday, we went out for lunch and had another cake. He was so excited all day/weekend - was lovely. Tonight, when I put him to bed, I said "did you have a good birthday" and he said "I liked the cake" and "I liked seeing Nanny" - no mention of presents or cards - ah bless! I just love him so much [over soppy Mum emoticon] He starts mornings at nursery on Thursday and although I know he is sooooo ready for it and it will be good for DD and I to get some time together, it makes me sad that he is growing up so quickly. In just under 2 hours, it will be 3 years since I gave birth - really, where did the time go?! Makes me want another....

Kooky - really excited for you at the prospect of bringing Joe home. Hope 24 hour care goes well.

Kayz, Diege and Cant - Lol at you all talking about TTC. Did you know there's still a Wagon conception thread - I stumbled across it on one early morning stint when I was browsing "Last 15 minutes"

Gruff - yay on GC sleeping through, long may it last. Not at all (much - Lol!)

MMM - welcome.

So, GYo and Gruff (and anyone else, are we looking at a Reading/the Berks/Surrey locality meet for October/sooner?)

Right, have trouble with my sinuses and both DC are in bed, so promised myself an early night - not even going to watch Holby City. Have a good evening all and sorry for anything I've missed!

Kayzr · 09/09/2009 06:44

Morning!

I am knackered. I was at work from 11:30 to 16:30 all on my own. Then we went out for a meal for my friends birthday last night. DS1 did his usual showing me up by screaming alot. Not upset screaming but that ear piercing screaming that 2 year olds do.

IDOB, I'll text you later. Really looking forward to tomorrow!!

Hope you are all well.

bodenaddict · 09/09/2009 08:57

morning

off to jolly babies

Diege · 09/09/2009 09:28

Morning! KAYZ, I know that scream all too well! Have memories of dd3 upsetting fellow diners at our local bistro
Morning BODEN! Any more parcels due today? I missed one yesterday and it's been taken up to PO in the back of beyond Wouldn;t mind but our local PO is 2 mins away! Will have to wait till weekend for that one.
Off to local SureStart place this morning with friend and her baby. There's a light sensory room for babies that we're going to try so should be fun (if they stay awake)!
Hope everyone is well xx

bodenaddict · 09/09/2009 11:09
