Blotted had a baby girl at 7.35 tonight, 7lnb 11oz, called Greer. She is currently 'still as high as a kite'

detsy Lol, your birth story would have been mine if I'd had a hospital birth. I know what you mean about those contractions coming fast and furious all of a sudden. Clinging onto furniture, yep, recognise that too. Oh and the hitting anyone who dares touch me, that was me too. I only didn't moo, just aaaaaaaahhhhhwwwwwwed. Hope you get a better night tonight

Congratulations to febes and blotted and any other new babies adding joy!
Plus a big thank you to emmabemmasmum. I really did go out and buy a breastpump after your post and it kick started me into 24 hours of early labour. Had strong irregular contractions from fri night to sat night. Then after Britains got Talent, they really kicked in! Every 4 - 5 mins for 1 min. I had only 3 hours of active labour and 3 mins of 2nd stage. She shot out full force at 00.39 on the 17th May.

I hope this thread continues to assist in short labours! Mine truly was a fabulous, short home water birth.

Being a newbie, looking forward to getting to know you all better.
