Oh sorry forgot about your lack of smell -

What's it like????

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 31/03/2009 20:16

Springy - good on you for giving in, it has to be done really your pregnant you're allowed to be a little kooky

SpringySunshine · 31/03/2009 20:16

BB, I was unable to speak with the pain 4 weeks ago & I still have no baby [helpful]

BabyBolat · 31/03/2009 20:17

shhhh springy - don't jinx it!!! I know this will go on for the next 7 days and I will end up being induced!!

SpringySunshine · 31/03/2009 20:17

Don't worry about forgetting - my own family forget I'm not at all sensitive about it anyway

& it's so lovely. I've ripped off a corner, so there are straight edges & rough ones & it's quite dense, but still squishy & soft. Mmm.

bronze · 31/03/2009 20:18

I wouldnt with that type because of the chemicals. Could you compromise and use a different kind of sponge.

Feel odd just spoke to my parents on skype

oh forgot to say very chuffed with ds1. Hes been moved up ayear for maths for ages and recently starting doing his reading with a year 2 group too. today his teacher said she wanted to move him up for everything. Luckily it works here as reception, and years 1 and two are in one class.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 31/03/2009 20:20

Bronze - oh cool well done to your DS you must be a proud mummy

OP posts:
SmuttyNuttyTaff · 31/03/2009 20:21

why odd bronze?

OP posts:
BabyBolat · 31/03/2009 20:21

oh bronze why do you feel odd?

But yay for DS! can he do our puzzle??? What does it mean for the next stage - will he go up with the older kids or wait behind still?

conkertree · 31/03/2009 20:23

thats great bronze - well done to your ds.

bb - i doubt you will go another 7 days - i had early labour and was 2cm dilated on my due date last time and started timing contractions a few times, but not nearly as many signs as you have - i went 6 days over but it sounds like you are further on than that. hopefully as you say mw can confirm how far on you are tomorrow.

springy - you are making me want to go and try sucking sponges again - there is something about how refr4eshing water tastes coming from a sponge that you just dont get from a cup.

bronze · 31/03/2009 20:23

dunno. Just odd seeing them I guess

Not sure about the puzzle...hes five

I'm not sure what will happen later on I guess it depends how he does

SpringySunshine · 31/03/2009 20:24

Ooh, yay for your genius DS, bronze! Are you okay?

& at the moment, I'm happy enough just stroking it. I'm not sure if it has any chemicals or not. I'm okay at the moment just holding it

BabyBolat · 31/03/2009 20:25

LOL at springy's sponge baby!!!

Schulte · 31/03/2009 20:26

BB at your aunt! I think you should have the baby tomorrow just to annoy her. Really. Sounds like you're heading in that direction anyway. Good luck x

Springy what a weird thing to crave - and who was it with the dishwasher tablets? My mum craved schnapps when she was pg with me. But I don't think she gave in!

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 31/03/2009 20:26

Springy (apologies in advance but) awwww like a lil security sponge thats too cute

OP posts:
SpringySunshine · 31/03/2009 20:27

Maybe it really is just a baby substitute! Maybe I've realised that I'm never going to have a real baby, so I'm going to have to nurture a bit of sponge instead!

BabyBolat · 31/03/2009 20:27

LOL at security sponge, George will be 10 and springy will still be dragging it around!!!

tristaleejac · 31/03/2009 20:28

PMSL at springy putting it to the breast!!

bronze · 31/03/2009 20:30

I think she should change her name to Springysponge

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 31/03/2009 20:32

lol if you put it to the breast at least you wont need a breast pad

OP posts:
SpringySponge · 31/03/2009 20:36

?

& a colostrummy sponge isn't quite so appealing, thinking about it

mathsmummy27 · 31/03/2009 20:38

springers u nutter!!!

SpringySponge · 31/03/2009 20:39

MM, you were upset that you missed the maths puzzle - don't call me a nutter

BabyBolat · 31/03/2009 20:40

so was puzzle!!

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 31/03/2009 20:41

you could just wring it out and hey presto reuseable breast pad, genius!!
