Daft woman. This is some SERIOUS nesting.

AuldAlliance · 01/04/2009 19:18

This is brilliant. Better than an April Fool's joke... I want to see that photo!!!

Enjoy the curry, Boff!

conkertree · 01/04/2009 19:19

ooh exciting stuff every time i log on - yay for possible waters bb - hope this is it for you.

have been converting an old chest of drawers from dh's granny into a jungle change table for ds and this lo - if diy brings on labour i will go and get on with it. sawing the joints this evening certainly resulted in a few twinges but will attack it with new vigour now.

SpringySponge · 01/04/2009 19:19

Yeah - he was taking the phrase 'head' a bit seriously, put it that way

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 01/04/2009 19:20

I was planning to open the huge box our new pushchair is in and see if I could set it up, put wheels on.
Definitely not doing anything so strenuous now.

Is anyone else starving all the time? I had supper with DS and am now coveting the plate of veal escalope & veg that is waiting for DH. Given the amount of toast I ate at 4pm, this is not right.

SpringySponge · 01/04/2009 19:22

Cock cosy

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 01/04/2009 19:22

Ctx have stopped finally and I don't think that I have dilated. It feels like baby has turned to OP position and I think that this could be a very stop/start latent phase at this rate. I'm planning to try and rest as much as possible until saturday when I will be term and then I'm going to do anything I can to get labour going! Until then I'm trying to stay comfortable. I can't believe that the toco reading on the CTG was going over 100 last night and those ctx were doing absolutely nothing to my cervix!

SpringySponge · 01/04/2009 19:38

She'd better not be Doing A Springy, as the term has apparently become

Swaliswan · 01/04/2009 19:38

Are you still on the phone, BB?

BabyBolat · 01/04/2009 19:38

See there's nothing to worry about - she told met to carry on with the DIY!!! No she didn't but as I am not contracting and there is no meconium in the waters, I am just to wait it out as it could still be hours and if it all hasn't started by tomorrow lunchtime to go in anyway and they will check waters are 100% gone and induce me if they have.

Right back to the bathroom - be finished in 40 minutes or so so will be on with regular updates!!!

SpringySponge · 01/04/2009 19:39

Swaliswan Hopefully it'll ease off until Saturday & then just kick off for real without any fuss xx

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 01/04/2009 19:39

Swali - Wow, thats BB sprinkling cervix dust again!! good plan on the resting up, glad they have stopped for you, you can relax a bit now xx
