Apparently garlic is good for strep infections Imagine the aroma

I keep wanting to nest, but without the relevant sense of urgency. I look at things & quite fancy doing them, but then decide I'd rather sit down instead. Considering I'd usually rather stick pins in my eyes than clean the bathroom extractor fan, this is still progress. But doesn't actually get anything done...

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 23/03/2009 15:40

Hurts to touch and wipe it, thats why i looked tbh but its quite sort of flappy like a white grape on a stalk. dunno bout lymph nodes but labia are v swollen

feel warm but dont have a thermometer to check temp.

schulte - have another look;)

SpringySunshine · 23/03/2009 15:44

Smutts, I'm also risking Google & amongst the disgusting results I found this (I know it's naughty to laugh, but ):

"hi im 22 years old and im a petite girl but i have small labias and i was wondering why some girls have large ones....is it from having alot of sex or sucking on them? i have heard that it is genetic but if so is there there anyway i can make mine larger? i have large p*y lips that hide my labia and if it wasnt for that i would have decent sized ones. also is there ane excercises that i can do to decrease the size of my lips? anyway the point is i want larger labias how can help the precess? any advice would be helpful thanks."

OddEyes · 23/03/2009 15:44

Nutty, also get an extra diabetes check because weird fanjo skin problems and diabetes can sometimes be linked.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 23/03/2009 15:47

oh of course the hips and back won't make that easy! i am sure you would win on the pregnancy related disorders front - she will be worth it though!

BoffinMum · 23/03/2009 15:50

Nutty, very slim chance of MRSA on the ol fanjo so get thyself to the GP for a swab immediately please.

SpringySunshine · 23/03/2009 15:51

You've certainly been blessed with a natural beauty

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 23/03/2009 15:51

Just waiting for the nurse practicioner to ring me now

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 23/03/2009 15:54

(not preening the fanjo area of course, glad dh deforrested though!)

SpringySunshine · 23/03/2009 15:55

That's a good point - did he sort of avoid the grape & just not mention it? Maybe he needed Puzzle's BIL's grape scissors to tackle it?

BoffinMum · 23/03/2009 15:57

I wouldn't bother with the nurse practitioner - you need a swab IMO at the very least, some advice about antibiotics and steroids with a possible prescription, and discussion/reassurance about MRSA risk. Plus a gestational diabetes test, if they're going to be thorough and cover all the bases. I would make it clear this isn't just a touch of pg thrush, or you could get pretty ill pretty fast if they don't give you the right stuff straight away. Don't let them fob you off Nutty.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 23/03/2009 15:58

he deforrested about a fortnight ago so maybe it didnt look as bad, cant comment as havent looked at fanjo area for a long time now theres a thought!! must get me some grape scissors

OddEyes - don't know what you're talking about.

BoffinMum · 23/03/2009 16:01

Nutty, have another go at feeling for your lymph nodes in your groin, as that will be a dead giveaway as to whether you have an infection. They are the size of half a mini sweetcorn cob and move around a lot.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 23/03/2009 16:01

Boffin - i have to go through the NP to get an appointment, its their triage system. I did have anti biotics for the uti (when i was in hosp) which i only finished last week (i think) wouldn't they have cleared anything up? will definately be stressting the importance of me having an appointment today though!

OP posts:
BoffinMum · 23/03/2009 16:03

OK, well tell her you think there's a risk you have picked up a hospital acquired skin infection using the hydro pool, and you think you need a swab and some antibiotics pronto. Tell her you think your lymph nodes may be up. That should get you some attention.

Schulte · 23/03/2009 16:03

Oh Nutty what a pain in the bottom. Poor you, as if you hadn't suffered enough!

BoffinMum · 23/03/2009 16:04

There are different kinds of antibiotics and what cures one thing might not cure another. Hence the need for a swab.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 23/03/2009 16:04

Boff are they the huge things underneath and either side as you get towards your bum past the boney bits??
