he is probably just squished down springy my lovely - another sign of labour!!!

mumblemumhome4lunch · 24/03/2009 18:11

We haven't discussed names at all in RL with anyone either time.....not even telling what they would have been if other sex (on account of us not knowing so having to think up both). Don't like the thought of someone elses reaction muddying the waters. Like BB says - it's such a personal thing.

So much harder third time round as favourites used from both sides. Must be even worse for you Bronze !!

Mind you DS wouldn't have had DD name for various reasons so it's back very almost at the top of the list.....dare I share it ?

mumblemumhome4lunch · 24/03/2009 18:13

Got my next appt through to see the consultant today - to finalise the birth plan etc and scan if unsure baby is head down, and do strep B test.......2 days after my due date

LuLuBai · 24/03/2009 18:14

DH wanted to divulge 'our' name choices to his bro & SIL at the weekend and I said no. For a start I am not happy with any of 'our' supposed boy choices and although I do like the current number 1 girl choice I reserve the right to completely change my mind on seeing the baby.

LuLuBai · 24/03/2009 18:15

2 days after due date?

Do you normally run late mumble?

mathsmummy27 · 24/03/2009 18:16

Springers, he's in your fanjo ready to drop out next time you go to the loo...

bronze · 24/03/2009 18:18

springy notice mms implying you are a bucket

SpringySunshine · 24/03/2009 18:18

mathsmummy, I wish!

We've not discussed our name with anyone else at all - you lot are the only people who know. The only thing that I've said to anyone else is that it's not a funny celebrity type name (like an inanimate object). Mostly because my dad was worrying that I was going to name my child based on what amused me

SpringySunshine · 24/03/2009 18:19

bronze, you're right! How mean!

BabyBolat · 24/03/2009 18:19

LOL MM - Springy when the baby stopped moving for a couple of days my tummy felt all squishy and empty and everything was fine so don't worry - really think you are so close now you! so exciting!!!

bronze · 24/03/2009 18:20
Grin
BabyBolat · 24/03/2009 18:20

LOL at bucket crutch!!!

SpringySunshine · 24/03/2009 18:20

It's weird, isn't it? It feels like I'm just fat, not pregnant. It's like a proper Santa belly

& I don't know if I am that close. I agree that there are signs there, but I'm just not the sort of person who's lucky enough to go this early.

LuLuBai · 24/03/2009 18:27

Chortling at your dad's concerns that you were going to name the baby whatever amused you. He he he

conkertree · 24/03/2009 18:30

guess statistically at least some of the thread should go early (in addition to the ones who've already popped of course) so could esily be that you have your babies early springy - my mum was early with all three (not hugely early but about 2 weeks) - unfortunately she didnt pass it on to me or my sister.

conkertree · 24/03/2009 18:31

baby not babies sorry springy - giving you twins there.

LuLuBai · 24/03/2009 18:34

Too true springy - there are bound to be some more babies born in the next few days.

I think from my NCT group last time 3 were early and 3 late. None were born on due dates.

BoffinMum · 24/03/2009 18:35

Have you checked your bungee, Springy?

BabyBolat · 24/03/2009 18:41

Yeah I was led there last night and DH was prodding my belly saying 'where is the baby' from Ice Age as it was all squidgy!!

SpringySunshine · 24/03/2009 18:42

I suppose, but I'm only 37+3 today - it seems really unlikely that I'd be going into labour any time soon. I'm never punctual for anything

I am tempted to go & do some more cervix prodding, though...

BabyBolat · 24/03/2009 18:42

'boing boing' - as if it could be that easy!

BabyBolat · 24/03/2009 18:43

leave your cervix alone springy!

Gosh I have a headache!! ouch ouch ouch!!!

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 24/03/2009 18:44

Conker - do you think i willl be ezcused as i cant nest?? i dont want to be denied a good labour cos i cant clean

Boffin - ooohhh thats nice of them

Mathsmummy - OI!! get a shift on with that essay mrs!! lol you cant have your baby till its done
