Thank you for saying that, Puzzle xx

PuzzleRocks · 23/03/2009 19:28

Bugger, DD needs me, this parenting lark eh?? Back in a bit.

I have a treacle sponge in the fridge. Ner ner!

Schulte · 23/03/2009 19:29

Bronze so pleased your DS is okay. Sleep well and hope things will look bright and cheerful in the morning.

SpringySunshine · 23/03/2009 19:29

God, when these babies come out we're going to have to actually pay them attention? How will I MN all day every day?!

Schulte · 23/03/2009 19:31

I was going to say... there will have to be separate prizes for the most prolific posters postnatally as it will be quite a different task!

KittyCatIsGettingFat · 23/03/2009 19:32

tee hee Springy...

Does it mean anything that my nipples have been incredibly sore all day? Even a satin nightie is painful... haven't had any leaking at all so far...

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 23/03/2009 19:32

Springy - when you're feeding you can mn (one handed maybe), then when he sleeps as long as you have changed him they sleep alot!! so plenty of time to mn

I figure he won't know any better - he'll just have to grow up thinking that mummies are surgically attached to their laptops & it's perfectly normal to wait a few hours whilst hungry / in a pooey nappy whilst she makes jokes about fanjos.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 23/03/2009 19:41

in the nicest possible way though i'm hoping that i will be less of a prolific poster post-natally as i should in theory magically be all better (if the docs are to be believed). and my goodness watch out world my feet wont touch the ground!! i will be out of this house so much it will be untrue .

i will of course catch up in the evenings xx

Glad to hear you're ok Nutty - just a nicked wart then
Thanks for my email Nutty/Puzzle - so excited! woohoo

Springy it's all been said re: DH but I used to be terrible with the white lies, until my DH and I sat down and we had a really scary heart-to-heart - I realised it was just a nasty ingrained habit and also didn;t help that he was and is quite a jealous type. For the record though, I don't and have never allowed Nuts type things, despite being very liberal generally - I just find the low-gradeness offensive and pointless, and also I guess having a DD around now I wouldn't want her to be exposed to it. I get quite huffy about it actually, which is quite surprising given my past is decidely dodgy in that area!

phew rant over

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 23/03/2009 19:55

Would I?
I've participated in the industry, let's say..a few years ago, when I was going through a militant feminist ironic phase

mathsmummy27 · 23/03/2009 20:00

Anyone else think 'lipstick your grape' is a great name for a band??!!

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 23/03/2009 20:02

Mathsmummy - ah fair enough and yup pretty cool name for a band

MM did you do cervix porn?
just kidding

mathsmummy27 · 23/03/2009 20:07

WHAT would that look like exactly?

mine has receded today i am sad, I thought we were friends..

BoffinMum · 23/03/2009 20:09

OMG MathsMummy
You are such an interesting woman.

tristaleejac · 23/03/2009 20:09

I have absolutely no idea MM!

LuLuBai · 23/03/2009 20:11

Evening - I eventually find everyone, halfway through a new thread and sure enough the conversation has turned to porn. Excellent. Clearly got here just in time!

tristaleejac · 23/03/2009 20:12

Hiya lulu, how's tricks?

LuLuBai · 23/03/2009 20:12

I'm still trying to work out what militant feminist ironic porn looks like. Cervix porn is waaay beyond my imagination. (I never looked at that YouTube vid)

Swaliswan · 23/03/2009 20:13

Me too, Lulu. I've managed to miss one and a half threads now due to DD's chickenpox.

mathsmummy27 · 23/03/2009 20:14

Yes indeedy Lulu...

I don't mind good porn (although that MAY be an oxymoron of course)...just the thoughtless male-directed crap I find offensive and ludicrous.

What does everone else think?
my cervix obviously doesn't agree, as it has fecked off in protest (possibly at the lack of sex recently..)

LuLuBai · 23/03/2009 20:14

Yeah great thanks tristaleejac. Been hurtling about the place like a crazy thing trying to get sorted to move back into my house this weekend.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 23/03/2009 20:15

hahahahaha lulu you have smut-dar too

Mathsmummy - what did you do to make your cervix upset???

Trista - cervix porn
