Hello (two days in a row? )
Huge congrats to Playing and Star, sounds like you've both had a bit of a rough ride, Playing glad little Edward is home now and hope you are recovering well, and Star I really hope the op was straightforward, and Charlotte is on the mend.
Glask, I'd put it down to the garlic, none of mine ever seemed to be be bothered about the taste, but I have heard garlic can be a bit of a pain in the bum sometimes. Hope you get some good advice and that Ruby feeds a little better today. I think you'd do right to get the nurse to come earlier, always better to be safe than sorry.
Cosmo, I did our back garden on Saturday, it is so worth it, and a little birdie told me that the digging and bending down is well known to start labour (though don't go over doing it, you'll need every ounce of strength if it did start something off!)
LBOX, perfectly normal for the bump to seem to come and go, suffice to say it doesn't actually come and go, it is just the build up of fluids, you can help it a bit by drinking more, but as long as you are drinking plenty anyway there's no need to, it won't cause any problems or anything.
DS1's birthday today, he went off to school so excited bless him
And as always as one thing seems to sort itself out, another crops up, Mikey is a bit better, no where near as blocked up, and his temperature is finally under control, I was scared stiff he'd start fitting like DS2 does, but he seems to be getting there now, and on the other side of the coin, DH's work has more or less dried up, we're already facing not being able to pay the bills next month, which we have never had to do before, and it doesn't seem to be looking like his work load is going to pick up any time soon, so we are in deep shit basically. We thought we'd come up with a (long, complicated, boring, ridiculous) master plan to dig us out of the shit but that isn't going to work... one month of not paying bills can be recovered from, but 2? 3? 6? And if the work doesn't pick up and he losses his job, we are severely fucked. Everything is on the line, the house, the car, things we need to buy like Mikey's clothes, nappies, formula etc. I really don't mean this to sound smug, but we've never really had money worries before, and it's not nice y'know?!
