BB, don't think we'd ever move to Scotland, as DH has specialised in French public law and would never get work (hollow, ironic laugh, given situation!). I have been told that with my profile I could quite easily get a post in a UK university, but I don't know what DH would do.
I was hoping to organise an exchange of posts in the future with a UK (preferably Edinburgh) lecturer for one semester.
