SmuttyNutSack · 13/03/2009 10:46

Kaz how long before they're home do they think? it must be nice in one way to be home and able to gather your thoughts and get some proper rest, i bet you're gagging to get them home with you though.

brettgirl2 · 13/03/2009 10:47

Congratulations to all of you, I bet you can't wait to get the little ones home.

Swaliswan · 13/03/2009 10:50

I'm glad you managed to finish the birth story, Kaz. I was on tenterhooks reading it in installments.

Swaliswan · 13/03/2009 10:53

My bath ended a bit abruptly when there was a knock on the front door. I had completely forgotten that DD's car sear may come today. The poor delivery guy was met by a dripping wet me with just a towel to cover my modesty (I was very careful to make sure that it covered my bump and didn't flap open even if my Ladygarden is presentable now!). I don't know who was more

PuzzleRocks · 13/03/2009 10:54

Excellent stuff. So great to hear a positive story despite all the difficulties. Well done Kaz.

SmuttyNutSack · 13/03/2009 10:59

Swaliswan - lol you flasher you

gingersarah · 13/03/2009 11:07

Kazkiss, congratulations! What an amazing story.

It is so exciting that people are having babies!

Bronze, all ok apart from bugs?

It felt indecent to be so pregnant at a funeral. There was no hiding it.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 13/03/2009 11:10

Ginger - to some people your pregnancy will have been a comfort and reassuring ((hugs)) not indecent at all xx

BabyBolat · 13/03/2009 11:21

BabyBolat · 13/03/2009 12:18

I hated it - I only went with DH the last time (think I was the good luck charm!) and I was worse that he was!

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 13/03/2009 12:21

i haven't put him on the insurance yet so as not to jinx him. arrrrgggghhhh just realised its only blardy friday the 13th!! yikes.

right, ok, it takes 10 mins to get here from the test centre so he should be home by 12.30 >>

OP posts:
PuzzleRocks · 13/03/2009 12:21

DH has held a licence for 19 years. That makes me feel old before my time.

PuzzleRocks · 13/03/2009 12:22

Nuts - Distract yourself. Put a film on. Stop thinking about it.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 13/03/2009 12:25

ok wonder if this is how dh feels during labour etc

OP posts:
PuzzleRocks · 13/03/2009 12:28

ooooh please.... Nutty on the plus side if he has passed, he has all the forms to fill in!!!

purplemonkeydishwasher · 13/03/2009 12:52

Hello!

just got caught up with the thread. that was some birth story from Kaz!

Congratulations!!!!!
Make sure you have lots of skin to skin contact with the babies as that will help with regualting their temperature and with feeding. (if you look up Kangaroo care there's a few websites about it)

Nutty - he's probably nipped to the pub for a celebratory pint!

so here i am again. went to play group this morning with DS (an hour late ) but still got a cuppa when i arrived so that worked out ok. i get lots of sympathy becuase of my 'condition' so nobody bothered about us being so late.
everyone kept asking how much longer i have to go...and then look quite shocked when i say 6 and half weeks! there was another mum there who is due on monday and i am bigger than her already. what will i be like in 6 weeks??? can't wait for that scan on wednesday to find out what's going on in there!!!

so we came home agian. i'm sick of this place. it's a disaster area. i can't be bothered to clean it and i can't really afford to go out and do anything. and frankly taking DS out isn't much fun today. he's in a MOOD.

so i came home and burst into tears. gotta love these pg hormones. that galaxy bar in the fridge is soooo getting eaten this afternoon....
