Lauren ((hugs)) how you doning now?

BB & Whatfresshell hahahaha the race is on

lauren61 · 09/03/2009 19:49

im okaay just confused as to whether the pains im gettin are from the thrush or baby pains !! when i went in friday they were talking about induction and all sorts i was like omg im so not ready!!! very uncomfy now allll the time, horrible dreams when i get to sleep about terrifying labours and demon babies, cant drive anymore either, not comfortably!

WhatFreshHellIsThis · 09/03/2009 19:54

ahem....also, have just noticed my due date is wrong on the list, it's actually 27th March....a whole two days earlier than it says!

mwahahahahahhaaaaaaaaa the next baby is mine, you hear, MINE!

sorry, not sure what came over me then

Juwesm · 09/03/2009 19:58

Lauren - sorry you are feeling rough. Hope they've given you some good bits and pieces to sort the thrush out - I think it's usually more uncomfortable than painful but I stand ready to be corrected having managed to avoid the dreaded Candida so far.

Does anybody have any suggestions for good places to go for fitting of nursing bra? Not been very impressed with M&S. I could head up to Rigby and Peller at Bluewater but don't imagine that is an inexpensive option .
Not that I will need nursing bras, as am not letting the baby out.

Haven't heard much from Kaz. She is out of hosp, but the babies are still in. She posted a vid of Ollie having a wash in his incubator, and he is soooo wriggly! I may have blubbed a little.

Juwesm · 09/03/2009 20:00

That makes it sound like Ollie was washing himself. Strange head picture of tiny baby sitting up in incubator washing his face, having a shave, slapping on cologne.

lauren61 · 09/03/2009 20:01

it is more uncomfort than pain im just a big wuss

i havent even thought about nursing bras yet :/ mothercare??

what did kaz have and what has she named them? ive missed so much! x

KittyCatIsGettingFat · 09/03/2009 20:01

BB - as your faithful buddy I DEMAND that you push your baby out first... And as your buddy - I'll help you...

Baby Boot Camp - here we come!! Perineal massage is to commence immediately, with cervical checking twice daily. A morning walk of at least 3 miles to get baby moving, followed by a swim for an hour every day. Bouncing on the spacehopper is recommended for periods of up to 45 mins three times a day. Hot creative sex is required at least twice a day. Starting immediately, no foods but lava-hot curry and fresh pineapple are to pass your lips. The only things you are allowed to drink are RLT, Lucozade for strength and a daily BJ!!!

Off you go, girl! One, two, three, four; Hup, two three, four...

lauren61 · 09/03/2009 20:02

juwesm- LOL!! very clever baby 8-)

and derrr one is obviously an ollie i didnt read that properly lol, mines an ollie too

LuLuBai · 09/03/2009 20:02

Evening - so glad Barbarellas babies are all together. How lovely. When do we get to find out what flavours she had and what names she chose and what they are all like? And great that Kaz is out of hospital. Oooooh I feel so broody thinking about all those babies.

WhatFreshHell - go girl. Limber up those muscles and start firing out your baby. Just to wind up BB .

And BB please however desperate you are to get that baby out of your belly please please promise not to perform BJs while bouncing on a space hopper. Not if you want DH to sire any more children after this one.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 09/03/2009 20:03

Juw - glad shes out of hospital, awww at ollie being a wrigglebum

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 09/03/2009 20:06

KItty - ROLF at birth regime "hop" to it BB

LuLuBai · 09/03/2009 20:06

Lauren - try not to worry too much. Thrush is super common in pregnancy. I had it last time. No big deal.

And as for staying in hospital with leakages. Yup, I had that last time. Bled at 35 weeks. Kept me in hospital until they worked out all was fine.

And child birth is really not as bad as you think. If you are really scared then opt for painkillers to get you through it, but really it is usually fine without (or at least mine was)

And very few babies are demons, except in films like The Omen. Yours will be absolutely lovely.

LuLuBai · 09/03/2009 20:07

LOL! Loving Kittys birthing bootcamp!

Juwesm · 09/03/2009 20:07

Lauren - Kaz had one of each flavour - Isabelle and Oliver.

Baby Boot Camp sounds tough! However, as already discussed, hot creative sex/ daily BJ and space hopping could be combined. Also recall that the handles (??ears) on a space hopper were somewhat ribbed, so if DH unavailable....

Money making idea for birth ball with optional attachments.....

BabyBolat · 09/03/2009 20:11

Not sure I do want him to father anymore!!!

You are all mean (apart from my buddy!!) although 3 miled kitty - maybe 300 metres!!

WFH - we walked along the beach yesterday and it physically felt like the head was squeezing its way down - didn't enjoy the sensation!!! LuLu I am hurt...

Ju - why would you watch the videos?

I went to a lot of places but honestly none of them were comfortable - ended up getting one pack of normal ones for when I am out but then lots of the sleeping nursing bras for when I am home as they are so much more comfy (although remind me of the crop tops I used to wear at 13 before I had real boobies!!)

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 09/03/2009 20:12

BB - willy spacehopper {grin]

BabyBolat · 09/03/2009 20:13

Nutty DH just walked in and I had to quickly close that - he would be so mortified!!!

BabyBolat · 09/03/2009 20:14

springy I just showed DH THE picture - LOL think I scarred him for life!!!

LuLuBai · 09/03/2009 20:14

Ju - I've never had a good bra fitting in M&S. My best recent-ish bra fitting was at Peter Jones. Is there a John Lewis anywhere nearish to you?

Most recently I had a maternity fitting in a Blooming Marvellous. Bought one bra but really not sure she got it right. Plan to go in search of nursing bras in a week or two (chucked out last ones as were tatty and vile and fitted so badly it hurt).

What I will definitely be getting is at least a couple of Carriwell nursing bras. They don't come in exact cup sizes but S/M/L etc. They are really useful for night times if you are breastfeeding as you need something to keep the breast pad in. Also comfy for wearing around the house.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 09/03/2009 20:15

{grin] lol sorry

KittyCatIsGettingFat · 09/03/2009 20:17

OMG Nutty that is something else!!!! do you see it comes in 8 inch too?? Although from the picture that one is for boys only...

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 09/03/2009 20:19

i know lol

LuLuBai · 09/03/2009 20:20

Ju! I'm never going to look at a spacehoper in the same light again.

And Nutty - I'm too scared to open your attachment. Is it what I think it might be?

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 09/03/2009 20:21

its a willy spacehopper (willy attached to a ball, yep it is

KittyCatIsGettingFat · 09/03/2009 20:22

Go on Lulu - it can't hurt... well, not if you get the 6 inch one anyway...

OK I'm off for a bath now! Feeling kind of dirty... in a good way! But DH and I are on a no-nookie diet until 37 weeks, when WE start the Boot Camp...

See you all tomorrow! xxx
