Bleu - I'm even worse I have food spillages on my boobs all the time. I think it's because my bump sticks out so far that I can't sit close enough to the table when I eat.

I've been on hold for 20 minutes now trying to book my next antenatal appointment.

Aye, I've never been one to get stuff all over me when I eat...now my front is a magnet for drips and drops and spills and splashes... It makes me really feel frumpy sometimes.

Yes, me too, very frumpy. I was very anxious about it when staying with my chic French SIL last week. I barely dared eat as I knew it was going to end up all over my front and she is always so spotless and ironed and pristine.

Carameli - you were asking about Epsom Hospital earlier, I did my tour there a few weeks ago and it was OK... not great, but OK! DH and I have decided on a HB instead, knowing that Epsom is only 5 mins down the road from us, so go on the tour and see what you think.

How do French women manage to be so chic? I mean, we make an effort as well with more limited results ...

Wow today has been manic and I am shattered and have such a busy day tomorrow (around hospital appointments etc!)

When you think about it Barb was carrying over 12lb's of baby - probably nearer 15 when it was actually done so pretty sure that would do some damage!!! Poor Kaz not seeing her LO's tho!!

I have had quite a good day today. Now people have started massaging my arse manipulating my gluteal muscles and hamstrings I can walk almost normally, albeit in small doses. I wish everyone had started doing this in November.

Today I have hoovered 2 sq m of new carpet, and also hand washed my lingerie standing at the sink all by myself.

This is a lot for me!! I didn't even use my crutches to get from the car to the chiro this morning.

I have now even done some DIY!! I put a hook on the back of the nursery door for the baby's dirty washing bag. Just for a moment there, just for a very little moment, I felt some vestige of my old self. However my AP heard the drill, and came to tell me off, so I am back on the glidey chair now.

I feel a little bit like the disabled man off Little Britain, scuttling out of my wheelchair to do amazing feats whilst unobserved, and then getting back in it!!

I am quite tired actually so I will suppress the urge to do a Bleu and redecorate the downstairs WC as a surprise for DH.

Boff you behave

DH had a go at me for the first time today for moving the furniture back in our bedroom. I told him I was quite capable and he told me I was too capable and that I was to stop it now and that this was him telling me off. Made me feel kind of happy and sad at the same time. I hate being useless but it was nice that he was actually acknowledging things for once.

Kitty I will speak to my DH on the subject of hiring himself out for bottom massages. I did consider putting him out to stud to offset the effect of the credit crunch, but this might be less daunting.
