Brill Jenjam, really happy for you!

Welcome Hamster, the more the merrier!

Just been reading the mumsnet tips for ages, they're really good! have loads of houswork to do but can't be bothered!

Have got to pick ds up from playgroup in a bit. I'm really pleased because he didn't cry! Hurray!

I gave him a kiss, told him i'd see him later and as I turned to leave he went 'Mummy!'. I thought 'here we go' but he just said 'cuddle'. So gave him a cuddle and then he just toddled off!

Hellkat, I've just caught up with the messages and I'm so sorry to hear what you've been through. We found out we had lost our first the same way and, coincidentally, the baby had stopped developing at the time when I had a virus. It sounds like you're being very strong and positive. My heart goes out to you and I hope you get pregnant again very soon!

Laylasmum · 19/04/2005 13:39

Fab news about the scan jen jam - hope you feel a bit more reassured now!! How are you today HK?

Enthusia · 19/04/2005 13:40

Hiya

Thanks everyone for the messages, feel bad for some of the things I said now, but as you all said I should say what I feel on here.

JenJam, so happy everything is ok with you, I have my scan a week tmrw, so fingers crossed.

ChaCha - Can't wait to swap school - sicky stories too! My little ones are in assembly at the mo.

Diddle - thanks for being so supportive - here is for AF arriving nice and soon.

Welcome Hamster, make yourself at home.

Hope everyone else is having a good day.

yingers74 · 19/04/2005 14:29

Hellkat - so sorry to hear your news. I have not been checking this thread lately so only read about you today. Take care of yourself and do check out the m/c thread if you feel up to it.

Is anyone as worried as me? I am getting quite nervous, my scan is not till next month although I think I am coming to 12 weeks today. I think the nausea is beginning to wane which scares me more than anything. With my m/c the first thing to go was the symtoms. I guess I should stop and just be happy until the scan, I mean I can't do anything till then anyway.

yingers74 · 19/04/2005 14:30

hamster - welcome!

JenJam · 19/04/2005 15:00

yingers....i was worried because i didn't have many symptoms - no m/c and boobs stopped being sore (altho still large) and had scan today and it seems fine. also heard that around 12 weeks symptoms naturally drop off as placenta develops and takes over (it was something like that) sorry don't know much more about it, but i do know that you are supposed to expect sickness etc to calm down around 12 weeks. hope that helps reassure you, jenjam

hamster · 19/04/2005 15:02

Thanks for all being so welcoming!
I'm sooooo tired at the moment, it was never as bad as this with ds! I think I'll go have a nap after I've posted this!
yingers-I had a m/c in my first pregnancy, I also found the symptoms just went. But when I was pg with ds, I had to constantly remind myself that I was pg because I just didn't feel it, plus my sickness disappeared really quickly...mind you, then I got a bump and that soon changed my thoughts! I hope your scan isn't too far away, then you can set your mind a rest You'll be fine x

BEKsmum · 19/04/2005 17:28

Hey Diddle like HK said never wish period pain on another but hope this is what you're feeling and if so get the calanedar cleared for early next month because you have some serious "exercise " to be getting down to.

Rodeo glad your little one is settling into pre-school ok, it's heart breaking when they cry but then it becomes just as gutting when they can't even be bothered to say goodbye any more, just toddle off without a backwards glance - us mums we're never satisfied are we!!! Needless to say ds does the later but he always looks really pleased to see me when I pick him up later.

Welcome aboard Hamster, hope you have a good pg, we're a friendly lot and on here far too much!

Jenjam fantastic news, thought you were going to say you were having twins for a minute there! Bet it feels real now doesn't it?

Yingers try not to worry, it is really upsetting when you here that the others have m/c'd but there is nothing to say you will do the same and Jenjam is right the early signs should slowly be wearing off now.

I started week 12 today so I hope by next Tuesday I'm going to be feeling blooming, instead of just blooming sick. Take care and let us know if you're feeling worried we're all here to help.

HK How's it going, did you manage to get Peppa Pig off the telly before lunch time?!

Tex nice to see you back

Laylasmum didn't get to say much to you yesterday. I know everything went ok are you still smiling from ear to ear?

ChaCha · 19/04/2005 17:58

Hope everyone is well. I've had to come home from work early and am feeling absolutely awful - can't describe how I feel other than sick and flu like. What a day! Feel like crying and hiding under the covers

Beks mum, I just read your post to Enthusia which reads: Enthusia, sorry if you were feeling a bit put off or if you thought we weren't talking to you , it just seems that you and ChaCha have hit off so well the rest of us don't get a look in

I'm sorry it seems that way, that's how i feel a lot of the time on here. I guess the more you have in common with someone the more of a rapport there is. Anyway, totally hormonal, upset, sick, irritable and have had enough.

Have a good night all.

Enthusia · 19/04/2005 18:09

ChaCha know exactly how you feel. Hope you feel physically better tomorrow! Get a good nights sleep!!!!

JenJam glad to hear you are feeling good.

Hope everyone has a good night!

Laylasmum · 19/04/2005 18:50

BEKSmum, yes it was lovely to see the little bubba on the screen, i'm still anxious though!! I think i will be until he/she is safely in my arms!!!

HellKat · 19/04/2005 18:52

Tex, Yingers- Thankyou!
Not a nice way to find out is it Tex?
Bearing up here. Got the d&c booked for Tuesday (thank goodness it's quick) and then, hopefully, Dp and I can get back to some kind of normality.
Yingers- Yep already been onto the mc thread.
Chacha- Poor you. It's awful being ill when pg. You feel so helpless. Get well soon hun.
Layla- Thanks for asking. Not feeling great or anything really just getting on with things. really does help having a little run to around after (takes your mind off of things).
Have a good night all, take care.
P.s Jen- congrats on scan! Fab news.

HellKat · 19/04/2005 18:54

Beks- lol yep! Managed to go back to bed too as dp was looking after him.

cp3 · 19/04/2005 19:03

Diddle. Question for you!!!! Its a Bit but we had sex/made love/did the deed this morning. Not cos i wanted too or was immediatley trying again for another but just because i wanted to get the first time we did it over and done with cos i knew i would feel bad/guilty. Is that normal feelings or have i totally lost it?

Diddle · 19/04/2005 19:21

I would say thats normal. I presume you're no longer bleeding.
I felt the same especially as i couldn't think of anything worse when i was pregnant. Wanted to get straight back to it, we "did the dead" this week too for the first time and to be honest i was worried about how it would feel. but we were both fine and were very tempted to try again for another baby. But agreed that it wasn't really what we wanted just yet.
You're normal (whatever that is), don't worry.
Are you going to try again?

cp3 · 19/04/2005 19:37

I am bleeding a little but its very watery. We will try again, im not sure when though. I/We will just be careful for now. Dp wants to go for it immediatley, bless him, i think he thinks that will make me feel better. And maybe it will but at the momemt i very much doubt it. Had bloody stomach ache all day though. My stomach is so bloated too but i thinks thats because of the anestechic(sp)

Thanks for being there, hope you are feeling ok too?

Diddle · 19/04/2005 20:03

my pleasure, no thanks needed. Feeling ok, got back ache and stomach pains which hopefully means Af is coming. everything crossed, hope it is. Feel very bloated and still look like im preggers, which is really annoying me.
You take it easy.

ChaCha · 19/04/2005 20:06

Hellkat, you are a source of strength for everyone here regardless of their circumstances. I really enjoy being part of this thread and I wish you all the best. Same to diddle and cp3

I am still feeling utterly crap. Have had more tears, more sickness and just all over the place. My stomache is rumbling as well - sick, hungry, sick hungry, can't win!
Am hoping to be in better humour tomorrow - my stupid wisdom tooth is killing me. Apparentely our gums are softer in pregnancy, typical!!!

Love to you all x

Diddle · 19/04/2005 20:14

what a lovely message cha cha, thank you. hope that you are feeling better tomorrow. have a good nights sleep.

cp3 · 19/04/2005 20:19

ChaCha each time i have got pregnant i have had a tooth out. My back 4 (wisdom) have gone. Its one of my signs. Wierd eh? Make sure you brush them well.

Diddle it must see odd actually wanting your af now.

Diddle · 19/04/2005 20:27

cp3 - yes it is odd, but i can't wait the sooner it comes the sooner we can get started again.
I want a baby so much. I don't know what i will do if the next ones ends the same way. I keep checking the due date calculators to see if my period starts this week and next week whe i would be due. I'm just presuming that i will catch straight away. Far too positive. will have a shock if it doesn't happen straight away now. getting my own hopes up. not a good idea.
sorry i'm waffling, have got 2 weeks worth of ironing looking at me, really should be doing it but my pc keeps calling me back to it. i'd hate to miss anything.

twinkle1 · 19/04/2005 20:34

evening everyone
well i have been trying out sea sickness bands to try and combat mt horrible morning sickness
it is so bad at the min. Well, started wearing them yesterday and i do feel less sick but that may be due to the pain in my wrists distracting me!!!! the bands are very tight. well you all take care as im off on hols on thursday

Diddle · 19/04/2005 20:40

twinkle, enjoy your hols, where you off to? anywhere exciting?

HellKat · 19/04/2005 20:53

Awww Chacha- you made me go all mushy! Don't mean to be all strong and such, just one of those natural little helpers .
Make sure you rest up and at don't worry too much about eating, just try to manage fluids. If it carries on though, go see your gp.
Diddle- Hun, it won't happen again. You should have no probs getting pg again and all will be fab (that's what I'm telling myself anyway.
Cp3- Glad to see you hun! How are you? Are you coping ok?
Feeling very chilled tonight (just resigned to the fact it's out of our hands and feel so glad that come Tuesday the worst is over). I can't see dp and I waiting longer than one af. Still taking folic acid and preparing for ttc'ing!
