BabyBolat · 26/02/2009 13:52

April 2009 - Episode 15: Bouncing Babies on their way, just one month to go until due day... (if we make it to March on this thread!)

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 26/02/2009 13:54

BB only one month for you!!2for me! lol and yes you are very patient

tristaleejac · 26/02/2009 14:02

Hey everyone, bloody hell isn't it close now, I'm 33 weeks today, waaaaa!
Who's furthest on in weeks, hold on I'll go back and check..... BB and whatfreshell, gee whizz are you guys getting nervous now or are you cool, calm and relaxed?
I reckon we'll be having some labour threads soon [excited!]
I'm ok today just tired. It'll take a couple of days to get strength back I suppose.
DS was back at doc today, I couldn't wait til tomorrow. Results of stool sample say no bacteria or parasites so possibly viral. Doc said give it 2 weeks then come back. If he still has diarrhoea then she'll refer him to paediatrician. If in the meantime he seems unwell or worse, just to take him back. So I'm happy with that for now, as he is still eating and drinking ok, appears well and isn't losing weight.

Hey welcome back everyone who's been away for a while, it's good to see you back again.

Just bought some babygrows as DP was a bit upset that most of the slogan ones are all about I Love Mummy etc. So I'll surprise him with these.
I bought 3: Sorry Ladies, My Daddy Is Taken!
then, I've Got More Hair Than My Daddy and lastly, If You Think I'm Cute See My Daddy!
Think he'll like these.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 26/02/2009 14:03

Hellloooooo whats going on, agree tis v quiet today ......

BabyBolat · 26/02/2009 14:05

ONE MONTH IS SSSOOOOOOOO LONG!!!!!

Springy really sorry to ruin any potential Grey's Anatomy fun for you but in series 5 apparently Izzy has CANCER!!!!

Sorry for all you non-GA fans!!

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 26/02/2009 14:06

Trista - fab babygrow choices yay for ds results being ok fingers crossed it clears up for him poor thing

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 26/02/2009 14:08

yep patience of a saint BB

BabyBolat · 26/02/2009 14:08

Oooh Tristal where are those babygro's from?

It is really quiet - Boff is off for lunch, Springy is probably at Uni, others are probably being good and actually doing their work! Unlike me (although in my defense my boss has gone out for a long lunch and I can't do anything until he comes back!)

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 26/02/2009 14:10

but mn is work???? i dont understand lol

tristaleejac · 26/02/2009 14:13

I got them from angelasembroidery, a shop on ebay. They look really nice, I can always wait til they come through and tell you what they're like.

BabyBolat · 26/02/2009 14:15

OOoh I can't wait to be at home more - it will be lovely!

MN is work x

brettgirl2 · 26/02/2009 14:15

Hi All....

BB - a month is not a long time, I'm not yet 34 weeks!!!!

Just one thing, in terms of engagement - rather illogically it appears from my notes that 0/5 is 'deeply engaged' and 5/5 is 'free'. Therefore 2/5 is more engaged than 3/5?

I have just had a bloody planning application letter through the door about the school that we back onto. It's reminded me that they are intending to rebuild the blasted place over the summer holidays .... so much for relaxing in my garden during maternity leave How pants is that? I don't know what they're doing to the building but it's hideous already so I can't imagine it being much worse!

Four more days to go at work and I am so excited!

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 26/02/2009 14:19

brettgirl - it would seem that way yay for mat leave

this thread is going to get busy soon >

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 26/02/2009 14:21

gosh girls what a long way we have come!!! really it doesn't seem like that long ago we were going mental waiting for scans!!

staryeyed · 26/02/2009 14:33

Oh Smutty, I saw that email- I saw the name smutty and thought it was one of those viagra ones so I ignored it

BabyBolat · 26/02/2009 14:34

brettgirl I will remind you of that when you have a month to go

We have come such a long way, I think that is why the last bit is more of a struggle to be honest as it just seems like nothing compared to what we have been through but still just not quite in reach!!!

BabyBolat · 26/02/2009 14:34

Staryeyed to be fair knowing Smutty it could have been!!

BoffinMum · 26/02/2009 14:35

I thought 2/5 meant 2/5 of the head is in the pelvis.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 26/02/2009 15:13

Stary - no probs do you need me to send it again?

BB - cheeky moo lol

SpringySunshine · 26/02/2009 15:35

OddEyes, all of your names are lovely, but I really like Beatrice, Eleanor, Isobel & Esme.

trista, sorry you've been so poorly - & DS, too! Sounds like you're both getting better now though, which is good. I hope you got a good night's sleep.

Where do we find these fanjo physio ladies? I want one!

conker's last day - yay!

BB, nice that work are trying to accommodate you at last! Although a nice big wishlist involving personal slaves & lots of chocolate could be handed to them if you're feeling cheeky

& good that you're at least making some progress with names, even if DH isn't cooperating as much as he could. Which names are you going to put forward?

BH & nausea sound fun I have to say, I'm not feeling too about that! I hope you're feeling a bit better by now.

Nutty, I'm glad you found a way to sort things out with your DH Not so good about the pain - but the general feeling of more positivity is an important thing xx

I told DH about the 3 times a day thing, & he whimpered 'but I'll die!', so I'm not sure that'll be happening here

Haha, 'BB waits patiently' Not that I blame her - I'm already getting really impatient & I'm a couple of weeks behind & not BHing all the time!

BB, I take it back! You have no sympathy from me - why would you break my heart with saying that Izzy has cancer? She will have no such thing! I refuse to accept it. [stubborn] (Cristina's new man's back tonight, though - that I can accept )

BoffinMum · 26/02/2009 15:41

Well we all know that Nutty refreshes the parts other women can't reach, She confessed this publicly. So she is as good as Viagara, surely?
