Nutty - the TRADESMEN's entrance?? "Go round the back - there's a luv"... tee hee hee...

BoffinMum · 24/02/2009 10:58

I do think it's in resaleable condition.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 24/02/2009 11:00

Boffin - ebay?

Kitty - yay for HB i havent even got my form for MA yet, though they said it takes 4 weeks to process and send out (lazy buggers) must chase!!

KittyCatIsGettingFat · 24/02/2009 11:03

Boff - you're the Queen of the TENS Machine - which is the best one to go for? I like the idea of one with a Boost button to up the love when a contraction hits... any suggestions?

OddEyes · 24/02/2009 11:06

Hey all! Just checking in before I go back to check up on you all! Hope every one is good.
Just realised I am 34 wks tomorrow which means my due date twin Barbarella is too! Has she check in recently? Wonder if her c-section is 34 weeks to the day! If not at some point this week?

BoffinMum · 24/02/2009 11:08

PhysioMed TPN 200 plus

It's hospital grade and it has got everything you need, such as boost. It is half the price of the pastel coloured maternity ones on sale/hire (costs around £34 and I believe if you hassled you could get the VAT back, as it is for personal medical use).

Can I recommend a spare set of electrode pads and a spare 9v battery so you can use it in the last week or two as well?

Boff's machine

OddEyes · 24/02/2009 11:18

Springy - your photos are great, you look so beautiful and happy.

Girls really the thread was meant to be clean! lol re plumbers !

yay for money kitty!

BB - am having really painful BH too. Always after I have done too much or no nap. Really thought that lo was coming two on Sunday night. Was so painful, memories of labour that I keep saying I have forgotton came flooding back. Eased off though and slept. Went crazy shoppping yesterday to get ready - spent £100 on clothes!

Mat Leave started officially yesterday after half term, but was actually taching my A Level class in afternoon, nice and easy but so made the best decision finishing now. Mathsmummy you so need to stop work at 36weeks if not before!

PIL coming today - so best clean the house a llittle and have a sleep or a just won't cope. Catch up this eve.

KittyCatIsGettingFat · 24/02/2009 11:18

Thanks Boff! That's why we love you!

KittyCatIsGettingFat · 24/02/2009 11:30

Boff - two more quick TENS questions before I checkout...

Do I need the gel?
What size electrodes should I get?

Thank you!!

purplemonkeydishwasher · 24/02/2009 11:39

HI everyone!

just 2 quick things:

  1. you have all infiltrated my DREAMS now! Boffin decided to go get married as well and something else that i can't remember (keep in mind that in my dream I was reading the thread. seriosuly, i need a life!)

and 2. I am blaming you all for my current arse pain. the chiar by my PC doesn't do my pelvis any favours and i have to sit here for HOURS just to catch up with everything from you lot!!

as a side note, i phined for another physio appt. the physio who i had seen (who wasn't very nice when i saw her) answered the phone and when i told her i needed another appt she said 'why? we gave you a belt."
wow. she must love her job.

BTW - congrats Springy! and where are said pcitures?????? is this a facebook thing? i'm in the MN group under the surname purplemonkey....

PuzzleRocks · 24/02/2009 11:41

Hi Purplemonkey - Will you be joining our buddy system?

OP posts:
SmuttyNuttyTaff · 24/02/2009 11:43

Purple - are you joining our buddy sytem??? xx

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 24/02/2009 11:44

lol jinx

PuzzleRocks · 24/02/2009 11:46

Boff - Good idea, i'm going to set DH up so he can maybe come on here.

Lulu - We be buddies.

OP posts:
BoffinMum · 24/02/2009 11:48

Purplemonkey, that's like a dentist saying "Why? You have toothpaste."

I think you may have confused the physio with someone who gives a fuck.

KittyCat, you do not need the gel as the pads are self-adhesive.

I have just noticed you get three packs of pads with it, so you probably won't need more, but if you do, they are TPN40 at £4.95 plus VAT. They also have some for sensitive skin but I found they didn't stick very well.

LuLuBai · 24/02/2009 11:49

He he he - Puzzle & Smutty relentless in their quest to sort out the buddy system!

Go girls!

Just wondering - anyone drinking Raspberry leaf tea yet? I think I started quite early last time, but can't remember when.

LuLuBai · 24/02/2009 11:52

Hi Puzzle - yes, I just got Nutty's e'mail .

Do you mind if I give DH your number to text too in case I am too shattered post birth to remember what way up I am, let alone where my mobile is.

BabyBolat · 24/02/2009 11:53

I know really not sure what they will do with there time when the Buddy system is complete !

LuLu I am starting all the remedies from March 01 so will be investing in everything this week in preparation!

Purple did they actually give you an appointment?

PuzzleRocks · 24/02/2009 11:53

Hi Oddeyes. Take it easy.
No word from Barb yet.

OP posts:
PuzzleRocks · 24/02/2009 11:54

Lulu - Please do.

Raspberry leaf tea. Hmm, I think 4 weeks before my due date.

KittyCatIsGettingFat · 24/02/2009 11:54

Hope Barbarelly is OK.... she's been quiet for an awfully long time... maybe we scared her off??

BabyBolat · 24/02/2009 11:56

I blame the plumber-porn for scaring people off!!!

BabyBolat · 24/02/2009 11:59

I just had a scoot around and Barbarelly last posted in Feb - it's very likely she has gone in either for delivery or monitoring as her LO's were growing so well and I know she was planning on a CS in the first week of March which isn't very far away. They probably couldn't wait to come out! Fingers crossed all is ok and all three together in one hospital x

LuLuBai · 24/02/2009 11:59

Purple I would say the physios attitude warrants a call to her manager or someone further up the line. Absolutely not on.

BB - am trying to inventory the things I need at the moment and where / when to get them. March 1 sounds sensible. I am thinking I may give up chocolate for lent and take up Raspberry Leaf Tea instead.

[Hmm] just remembered there is a whole pack of yummy chocolate chip biccies in the kitchen. Would be a tall order to polish them all off today.

Just discovered the bottom spray and cream is available on Amazon - there was also an option to buy "used" - not sure I want to go there.

LuLuBai · 24/02/2009 12:02

Oh I hope they manage to find space for all 3 of Barbarelly's babies in the same hospital. I'm sure she will find a way to get in touch with news eventually.
