My, it seems to be gushing! Shall I turn the cock off?

BabyBolat · 23/02/2009 15:09

Oooh I am looking forward to bath times!!!

PuzzleRocks · 23/02/2009 15:11

Wow, chatty morning. DD and I have been to her workshop this morning and i'm shattered.

B52'S - Is this your freezer?

BB - Poor you with the BH's again. It's not much consolation but at least your body seems to be well versed in what it needs to do on the big day.

Hello Frekkles - Good to hear from you. I'm damn impressed you managed to party that late. Good luck with the move on Saturday. Re packing: you haul in as many men as possible and assume the position of director of operations. Don't you do do anything yourself, I moved when I was not quite 6 months pregnant with DD and ended up in a terrible state. You are even further on so just drink tea and give orders.
Gorgeous names, I would have liked Isobel for this ones middle name as it is my grandmothers but since I chose the first name, DH got to pick the middle name.

Nutty - Glad you are having a better day. My bum is purple too but not from bruising. It's really wierd. It looks like two aubergines.
I second what BB said, Arnica does wonders for bruising. Very good if you have to have stitches which of course none of us will.
Have we had any more updates from people?

Boff - Good work whipping the AP into shape.

Hopeful - Good to hear from you. I can't see that BinkyB has been on MN since December. I think she was postng more on the first time Mums thread.

That post seemed so wrong coming straight after Boffins!!

BoffinMum · 23/02/2009 15:12

I used to plonk the kids in the bath with DH when they were babies. They all used to have a lovely time and it saved messing about with plastic baby baths.

BoffinMum · 23/02/2009 15:12

LOL BB!

SpringySunshine · 23/02/2009 15:13

Boffin's really getting into the swing of it now They're obviously being very inspirational over there!

BabyBolat · 23/02/2009 15:14

I was just imagining putting LO in bath with daddy while I had a few minutes to myself! and then giggled at the horror of DH's face if there were to be some unexpected liquids joining them in the bath!

BoffinMum · 23/02/2009 15:14

I have snorted my tea and the builders are all staring at me, BB. It's your fault.

BoffinMum · 23/02/2009 15:15

Newborn poo sticks to chest hair something rotten.

Do not ask me how I know that.

BabyBolat · 23/02/2009 15:15

What did I do?!!! I have been perfectly well behaved on this thread this afternoon unlike you three!!!

SpringySunshine · 23/02/2009 15:16

I think we're going to need a plastic baby bath, because we've had to promise friends that they can bathe him when they visit - & I don't think even DH is accommodating enough to sit in the tub with the baby whilst various acquaintances are swishing their hands around in his bath water

BabyBolat · 23/02/2009 15:16

Oh ok that is why!!! ooh DH has a quite a bit of hair there, what with being so dark and all!!!

SpringySunshine · 23/02/2009 15:16

I wonder what sticks more - newborn poo or chocolate body paint? Nutty?

BabyBolat · 23/02/2009 15:17

We have a plastic bath too but sounds like LO and Daddy time will be more fun!!

BabyBolat · 23/02/2009 15:18

Yeah Nutty what do you reckon????!!

BoffinMum · 23/02/2009 15:18

Springy, can't he wear trunks????

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 23/02/2009 15:20

CBP definately!

BoffinMum · 23/02/2009 15:21

Newborn poo probably has facepack qualities. When it's past the meconium stage, that is.

SpringySunshine · 23/02/2009 15:21

He'll be home in the next 10 minutes or so - I'll ask him if he'll oblige. Without any sort of build up or explanation of my question; I'll just hit him with it as he walks through the door & see what happens

SpringySunshine · 23/02/2009 15:22

Similar to frekkles' cow pat, then

PuzzleRocks · 23/02/2009 15:22

Boff - Hooray for the bathroom.

My wedding cost $300 and it was perfect. We had to pay for flights to Vegas as well but we borrowed a friends house who was out of town so that was free.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 23/02/2009 15:23

at poo face pack [sick face]

BoffinMum · 23/02/2009 15:23

I had forgotten about that ... let's encourage her and see if she does that when pissed.

BabyBolat · 23/02/2009 15:23

DH knows I have been on here all day and is already scared at the topic of conversation for tonight I think...
