The other thread was too long and wouldn't let me add a new message.

I am 8+3 and as my previous m/c's have been at 9 weeks.

silentlywondering · 16/02/2009 17:47

I have a bean with a heartbeat and am going to start posting under my usual name (mummyhill) after today. Measuring at 9+4 but have to go back for another scan on 4th March as sonographer wasn't happy with the quality of the image she got on the machine in epau.

That's brilliant news about the scans, mummyhill especially

kooky - I sympathise completely. My own scan is suddenly just over two weeks away and I'm starting to have twitters of anxiety about everything being ok. And then I'll have to tell my family too, and I don't feel ready for that either.

In other news, not many symptoms but still farting for Britain...

TigerFeet · 16/02/2009 21:37

Lovely to have more good scan news

My scan's not for 2 weeks either... symptoms still going strong though so I'm trying not to worry. I'm sure I didn't fret this much with dd - the scans were exciting and to be looked forward to - this time I seem to be constantly anxious.

bobber · 16/02/2009 22:12

Fantastic news mummyhill & littlerascal.

Really thrilled for you both

littlewifey · 17/02/2009 08:07

Congrats on your good scans too mummyhill and littlerascal- it's such a relief isn't it. Although I am already worrying this morning about my next one!!! Don't think I'll ever relax!! Stayfrosty- I wake at 4am every morning too- rubbish isn't it! I also wake at 12 and at 2 for trips to the toilet, but at least they are reassuring symptoms

Neddie · 17/02/2009 09:05

Hi everyone
I am having my first ante-natal this morning, quite exciting even though I already know it's twins because of the emergency scan. Still feeling rough but haven't been sick once (weird). Will let you all know how it went later. Good luck to everyone who's having scans this week.

mummyhill · 17/02/2009 11:35

Hope ante natal goes ok neddie.

forevermore · 17/02/2009 14:04

hi I am in my 10th week (cannot remember exactly when 1st day of last period was but know what week it was). I had a private scan on saturday beacuse I couldn't sleep friday night convincing myself that I had a mmc because of strange abdominal pull feelingthat made it difficult to walk even.

anyway a HB of 186 and all was told that all was well, however i later looked up on the internet that 186 was a high HB although no one said anything about HB being too high!?? sorry major paranoia cannot be controlled now.

anyway scan on 10th march which is ages away. I will be bankrupt by then at this rate[blush.

bigbang · 17/02/2009 15:29

Thats great mummyhill and littlerascal, you must be so relieved!

Things are a bit rubbish here at the moment, I'm feeling pretty down about everything. I'm not being sick much but have nausea all day, its really starting to get to me. The tiredness is also crippling, I just want to sleep. My poor boy is hardly getting to go out as I am finding it so hard to do the simplest things. He is being an angel and plays for ages by himself while I doze on the sofa, I feel so crap about it though when he smiles and laughs I should be joining in! But can't find the energy.

DP keeps getting cross at me for being tired and hormonal. He is normally very understanding and is so helpful, but occasionally he can be a complete arse. He is stressed with work and everything but he has be quite hurtful at times. Things feel very strained, I just want this part to be over now so we can get back to normal. 10+1 (and the 1 makes all the difference!) so hopefully my energy will return soon and the nausea will fade. Fingers crossed anyway.

bigbang · 17/02/2009 15:31

Sorry what a miserable and self centred post Just needed to offload- I will cheer up a bit now!

mummyhill · 17/02/2009 16:33

Bless you bigbang. Offload as much and as often as you need to love it does help to get it out of your system.

lemonmoon · 17/02/2009 17:07

Don't worry, Bigbag - that's what this place is for. I'm not surprised you feel down if you feel constantly nauseous - feeling ill takes its toll. It will get better.

Hope all went well with the ante-natal, Neddie.

kookykid · 17/02/2009 20:03

How was the antenatal appointment, Neddie? BigBang - if you can't offload here where can you?! Your DS really does sound like an angel and is clearly happy enough to entertain himself. I'm sure he'd let you know quickly enough if he wasn't! With any luck the MS will soon pass and then you can make up for it. You can't help how you feel.

at your earlier post lemonmoon!

So, my scan is tomorrow. By this time tomorrow I will either be dancing for joy or utterly distraught. Seems so improbable at the moment. Must remember to do a FMU sample to take with me in the morning.... am sure to forget!

bigbang · 17/02/2009 20:59

Thanks ladies. We went out for a walk to the shops and came home feeling much better! You're right of course kookykid, I will make up for it soon. We will do lots of things just the two of us, I need to give him my undivided attention while I still can.

All this sickness and what not is all for a good cause though, I shouldn't moan. Good luck with your appointment tomorrow kookykid!

peachygirl · 17/02/2009 21:26

Great news again about the scans. I still don't know when mine will be.

I'm waiting for the letter and for one about booking in. I'm now at a different Doctors surgery and they do things slightly differently here.

I'm contemplating telling my antenatal friends (from DD) I know they will all be very shocked - in a nice way!

newbie36 · 18/02/2009 09:00

Haven't posted for ages. Think I must be one of the last to get a scan, as won't be going till the 11th March (currently 8+6). Started throwing up on Sunday after fighting it and feeling constantly nauseous for 2 weeks. The sickness doesn't start till about 4pm so am still able to get through work - plus having the strangest cravings. Dreamt about big macs for the past week (seriously most nights....) and yesterday went out and bought one - you can keep your luxury food - it tasted like the best thing I'd ever had (beating anything gordon ramsey could offer....)

BTW Bigbang understand about the DP thing. My DP if very very understanding, but got to say with me constantly being nauseous/tired/or head down a toilet of an evening (lovely), it's all been a bit of a strain. Just really want this bit to pass.

lemonmoon · 18/02/2009 09:31

hope all goes well kookykid...

We had plans to go to the movies last night, but I decided I was too tired, and in fact was asleep on the sofa at 9.30. Luckily DH still thinks it's hilarious that one moment I'm talking and the next I'm snoring, but I find it frustrating because I want to make the most of the time we have left on our own. Actually if the positions were reversed I'd be much more moany than he's being - I made him go out to the pub at Christmas when he had what turned out to be flu.

lol at the big mac - I've been fancying KFC...

bratnav · 18/02/2009 09:46

Hi all, still here, scan next Tuesday, DP and I are getting married in a couple of weeks so have been off planning all that.

Hope everyone is well
