ds is 16 months - actually no 17 months today. If I ever want him to play on his own at home, he wont and he turns into a limpet - i swear he can pick up on the vibes that say i have something to do.

but if he goes off himself, its great. i just have to avoid being on the computer in the same room cause he always wants to play with it.

BabyBolat · 07/01/2009 15:37

ha ha! bless your LO's!

Schulte all good names, I like can (jan in Turkish), but DH knows too many of them apparently and also would be worried English people will call him CAN.

Nutty, I really regret not doing something more for my birthday - just had dinners in with DH and friends and felt really flat! Just think if you get the operation and everything gets sorted you can really live it up and go our on your birthday!

So Nutty and Bleu make sure you do something lovely on your b-day! I really should finish writing before I post!!!

Going to get Dh to take me out to Wagamamas as I've gone a bit nuts for their katsu curry...mmmmm....and for some reason I never get heartburn or reflux when I eat it...

BabyBolat · 07/01/2009 15:46

ooooh yummy...

I am not suffering too bad with heartburn, reflux if I don't eat enough then try and compensate by eating too quickly!

See now I really want Noodles now and we have chilli con carne for dinner tonight x poo!!!

OP posts:
Bleuravin · 07/01/2009 15:50

Oh gosh I've had nasty reflux...I can get it just thinking about it it seems.
But I'm not complaining because I was miserable with morning sickness the 1st four months and so burning in my throat is NOTHING. Even with it I've never been happier.

conkertree · 07/01/2009 15:51

ooh noodles. sounds good. wagamamas sounds good too. we are trying to have a bit of an economy drive in January but you always crave going out for meals etc more when you tell yourself that you cant.

Have just spoken to DH and he is going to get me some noodles. That is why I married him!!!

BabyBolat · 07/01/2009 16:23

oooh I love mash potato - that was one of the only things that got me through the first three months!!!!

OP posts:
BabyBolat · 07/01/2009 16:24

Are you all packed and ready for your hospital stay tomorrow?

OP posts:
Bleuravin · 07/01/2009 16:25

DH's can be nice that way. I remember when I was so ill and only wanted mash DH would come home and make me some no matter what else he was having. He even came home once and made it for me for lunch because I was too miserable to get out of bed and make it myself. Love that man dearly.

BabyBolat · 07/01/2009 16:29

Dh had mash or potato of some kind every day for 25 days last year as it is the ONLY thing I could eat and he made it every day (bless).

hey hey. happy new year , i have returned from the wilds of northern scotland, and feel a bit broken. I tried to be be superwoman and now i'm knackered. Please remind me never to accompany boyfriend on 4 day drink and drugs and folk music bender whilst, pregnant, sober and suffering from a cold. Came down with a cold before we left, but was adamant i wasn't going to let him down and would just get on with it cold or no cold. And thought that a 3 day party would be OK, I'm quite natrually effervescent so I don't need drugs or drink to dance around and chat to folk, and would just take to my bed regularly to rest when i needed too. But in actual fact it was just such hard work emotionally. When I'm used to being the life and soul of the party to have to stay sober and rest was horrible, and felt incredibly boring and guilty for not joining in. i so miss partying with my boyfriend. Home now, and the cold is still ongoing so have just been sleeping, absolutely knackered.

how is everyone else. found the new thread, but haven't caught up proper? everyone OK? miss me?

conkertree · 07/01/2009 16:33

goodness me what a lot of potatoes. i'm not as big a fan as i would like to be cause i know they are good for you, but i tend to go for pasta more, which is probably why i am not a size 10 anymore.

I really hope they can sort you out!!! I am going to start looking for some lovely things for the hospital bag soon! Am quite used to having my comforts at home so trying to to find a suitable balance between taking enough but not three suitcases!!!!

I have a sudden craving for hotdogs and sauerkraut... I HATE sauerkraut, and I'm not a fan of hotdogs either! How utterly bizzare.
