ate*

I've also just remembered that I have chocolate glazed doughnuts in the cupboard. Why would you remind me of that?

The shopping arrived early this morning (earlier than scheduled), when we were both in bed. I was awake because I'd had a horrible dream, but DP was fast asleep. I got up, let the man in, accepted the delivery & packed everything away before getting back into bed for a cuddle. The look on DP's face when he went to the fridge this morning... It was like for a second he actually believed in shopping fairies

Springy- lol... that's like one morning I baked cinnamon rolls from scratch because I was up at like 5 then hopped back into bed. When DH got up he thought someone had left them hot in the oven... as if...

Leaking... Conkertree, I started leaking at 17 weeks in my first pregnancy, this time round I've only had one leakage so far and I am really pleased as I hated having to wear breast pads so early on! Not looking forward to the first few weeks after baby arrives, remember having to lean over the sink after a bath / shower with milk just gushing out of my boobs. Sorry if TMI. But maybe second time round milk production is a bit better adjusted? Here's to hoping

SpringySunshine · 15/01/2009 14:03

Haha, I wish people would leave freshly baked goods in the oven! I'd leave my door unlocked at night for that

& Nutty, I put off the food shopping for so long that there was literally only pasta left to eat in the flat Now there's too much stuff. It all looks so tasty & I want to eat it all at once

Schulte, you're really lucky with that supply! I'm hoping that I'm going to be closer to that than trying to feed & getting nothing... I'm beginning to think about breastfeeding quite a lot now & it's more important to me than I expected it to be at the start.

I keep telling DH to get more milk. I'm drinking about 3.5 pints a day...

My sister said to watch it because she got kidney stones her last pregnnacy because she was drinking about 5 pints daily for about 2 weeks...

purplemonkeydishwasher · 15/01/2009 14:23

'anks (hard to talk with mouth full! )

SpringySunshine · 15/01/2009 14:25

Yes, I get through milk stupidly fast! Good to know to be careful of it, though...

Last night I was craving Lemsip. I'm not ill, but I really, really wanted Lemsip. DP said that his lemonade tasted like it & offered me some, but I needed the lovely heat of it... I don't even really like Lemsip usually.

SpringySunshine · 15/01/2009 14:37

Oh, also

Last night DP told me out of the blue that he has a friction burn downstairs. As I was laughing (), he said "I think that's one for Mumsnet " I didn't know that he understood what I did on here - I thought that he saw it as useful baby-related research

Boffin - is your free scan at the Rosie? If so do you mind me asking how you got involved, because I'd love another scan

Babypringle, it was in the main hospital in the David Dunn Suite. The last day is tomorrow but they might even do you today if you ring now - some women failed to turn up. Ring Deborah Leith on 01223 217105, email [email protected]. You get free parking and £5 and it takes about an hour. It was actually really interesting to see how the students learn to do it.

BoffinMum · 15/01/2009 15:04

PS It was for the East Anglian Obstetric Ultrasound Scanning Course.

BoffinMum · 15/01/2009 15:04

PPS i.e. not in the Rosie. I am all over the place this afternoon mentally.
