K its done - havent put a photo on yet but I will try sort one out at some point. If anyone wants to CAT me with email address I can invite them or put it on here and I will invite them. Alternatively you can search in groups 'The Wagoners of Mumsnet' hope you like the title!

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 23/12/2008 10:55

Ooh thanks Gruff.. will search for it now.

RuDiegetheRedNosedReinDiege · 23/12/2008 10:56

Oh GRUFF that sounds great, am very .I remeber reading about it a while back, and seeing that it should 'theoretically' be available to everyone, but on asking midwife she looked at me as if I had two heads! Agree with GYO, it does sound the best of both worlds!

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 23/12/2008 11:04

LOL love the pic Gruff.... have requested to join!

GruffaloSoldier · 23/12/2008 11:04

Not sure if my mw thing do it but I will ask at my next appointement. I can always change to other hospital if I want it.

Gyo - Royal Surrey def do it!

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 23/12/2008 11:09

Thats great about Royal Surrey doing it..

Might ask today - though it does make me think Pizza....

GruffaloSoldier · 23/12/2008 11:12

Hooray we have people!

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 23/12/2008 11:13

THink I can work out who is who so far!

GruffaloSoldier · 23/12/2008 11:19

LOL - it was my DH who told me to find a pic of a wagon baby! He likes to get involved.

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 23/12/2008 11:24

Your DH sounds v cool.....

Just spent 15mins working out how I can stop one friend not seeing my detailed profile as I dont want her knowing im pregnant... but dont want to delete her either IYSWIM..

Weird I know... Long story!

Phew...

GruffaloSoldier · 23/12/2008 11:24

Right, I am off for a couple of hours but will be back on later! TTFN!

GruffaloSoldier · 23/12/2008 11:27

Did you work it out GYO? I think its in settings!I could have made group secret but then it would mean you couldn't search for it. Sounds like an interesting story

'see' you later

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 23/12/2008 11:34

Yeah, think so. You can now insert a friends name to see how they see your profile.. all very clever...

GOt her on Limited profile then exclueded that group from seeing most stuff....

bye, see you later!

kayzr · 23/12/2008 11:46

Diege, We are doing a lot of mixed feeds. I BF until he comes off by himself. I can't be bothered with timing him for 30 mins like the mw said. Then he has 2oz of formula. He sometimes finishes it and sometimes just wants a little.

I do think it would be easier to FF, but I also think it would probably kill me. I hate giving him formula.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 23/12/2008 12:08

Hello, sorry can't catch up, just wanted to let you all know that the trace was fine, they've booked another scan for tomorrow, to see if it would be safe to delay the induction if we needed to, but they have basically left it up to us, they offered everything from bringing us in tonight for the induction, to seeing what the scan shows and taking it from there.

I feel a bit better than yesterday but just have absolutely no energy, everything aches and hurts, and just feeling generally under the weather, the cons went through a load of different options for the birth if we go ahead with the induction while I'm still not 100% (which I think even if we delayed by a week or more I'm not going to be right until this baby is out) so I feel a bit better about getting through a labour and delivery while feeling so shite.

Basically if the scan tomorrow shows that the waters aren't any lower, and the placenta and cord are still working correctly, (they won't do another growth scan because it's not been 2 weeks since the last one... stupid rules) but if everything looks OK, it is up to us when we want the induction to happen. If things aren't looking great at the scan, then the induction will still be on Friday, but they've told us some options we have re. fluids and meds and stuff to get through it hopefully without me just running out of steam and it all ending in EMCS.

Sorry am rambling, just about to eat something, and get into bed I think. DH is working from home today and it's his last day now till after the baby's born so at least I can relax and watch him run round after me the kids...!

If I don't make it back till after xmas, have a lovely lovely lovely day everyone, will be thinking of you all, lots of love to you all xxx

glad trace went well
sorry to hear that you are under the weather.
not long now till you have the baby

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 23/12/2008 12:24

Hi Tink/ Nat

Tink- glad your little one is now the right way down what a relief, now you can relax...

Nat- glad trace was ok, but sorry you are still feeling poorly.

take care

Starshinetiger · 23/12/2008 12:31

Hi Gruff - like the facebook group - have requested to join - thought it would get me to put details on, but it hasn't, so I'm IG.

Kayz - sorry to hear about the tough time with DS2 and bfing. Good weight gain though, so am sure you're doing a fab job.

Re. time for DS1, I can imagine it is hard - I am worried about that and DS1 will be 2.5 when this one arrives. But, if it offers any reassurance, I was 17 months when my DB was born and he spent the first several months pretty much clamped to my Mum as he had Pyloric Stenosis and she had to feed regularly to combat the vomiting. It has done my relationship with my Mum no harm whatsoever - once she got into the swing of it, she says I became her little helper, getting things she needed. I know you'll get there and from what I recall of DS1 the first couple of weeks seem to last a lifetime and then you get into some sort of swing that suits you all.
Diege - sorry to hear about meningitis - must have been very scary!
NJ - hope your day is getting better and you are feeling better. Still got fingers crossed for Boxing Day induction for you, but as you say, is just a case of what is best for you and DS3!
Sorry haven't caught up properly, but there has been much discussion on this thread while I've been down and out with flu.

Cosmogirl · 23/12/2008 12:33

Hey ladies,

Nat - you really are going through it you poor thing - at least you know that one way or another very soon your little man will be in your arms. Good that DH is at home and can take some pressure off you - honestly don't know how you guys with other los do it!

Tink - Great news about position - what a well behaved baby girl you have! Think mine is still in all kinds of odd positions. Plenty of time to shift but I just have this feeling I will end up with a breech baby. I was breech and so was my brother.

GYo - sorry about fluid issues. Sounds horrible. I am having the opposite thing, think I made about 11 trips to the loo again last night, though I did go to bed at 8 Nausea...

Cosmogirl · 23/12/2008 12:33

Gruff - very that you have finished work. Only three or so hours left for me, then we have Xmas party this evening. Hope I manage to stay awake as bedtime is now embarrassingly early (see above!)

Good friends of ours told us they are expecting yesterday. She is only 6 weeks but very pleased for them - they only live a few doors down from us.

Kayz- hang in there! You are doing so well. I'm sure the feeding thing will click soon - it is still such early days.

God, just wolfed my lunch down at the rate of knots....this pregnancy malarky seriously messes with your eating habits!

Hope everyone has a great Christmas break. Will be at my parents in Cambs for it but back home boxing day, so will check in for any new wagon arrivals! Lots of love xx

RuDiegetheRedNosedReinDiege · 23/12/2008 12:35

Sounds like you're being looked after well there NAT - lots of optons, so hopefully you feel a bit more in control of things? (well as in control as you can!).
Great news too TINKS on scan - what a relief for you!
KAYZ, sounds like you are doing brilliantly. I think if you feel so strongly against ff, then yes in a way the decision is made up for you. Just hard when others are putting the pressure on the give up!
Well, one of my three parcels has arrived - my Seraphine jeans which are (unbelieveably) too big . Ordered size one (uk8) which I am normally but will have to exchange for size 0 as they are hanging off me (in a way that won't fill out as pregnancy progresses). Am sure the zeros will be tiny - I am certainly not a uk 6 but will exchange and see.. Still waiting for IO order and Amazon game - will be mightily pissed off if they don't turn up after paying extra for delivery today!

Cosmogirl · 23/12/2008 12:37

Oh GYo, could you tell me how your RH shot goes? I have one 9th Jan and am worried as have read it can be quite painful....hopefully not. Also, could you let me know where they inject it? For some reason I think they will do it in my bum!

Hi Star!

GruffaloSoldier · 23/12/2008 12:56

Hi all
