He really does my head in. He strokes my bump and then brushes along my boobs. I sometimes think I'd rather he just grabbed the bloody things.

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 11/12/2008 18:51

haha!!!! kay- i just threw myself back in my chair laughing so hard that it nearly toppled backwards!!!! i've already got a weak bladder with this baby inside- i might actually pee myself if you say any more!! haha!!

I will not be held responsible for you falling off your chair. Its not my fault.

kayzisexpecting · 12/12/2008 06:34

Good Morning,

No baby. So everyone in RL who said baby would be early were wrong. Today is D-Day, I'd love him to come tonight so Dad can see him in the morning before he goes home. But I still think it will be Saturday night.

I'm getting serious back pain over night nearly every night now. It starts about 9 and then is really bad if I wake up in the middle of the night and then by morning it is gone. I don't know if it means labour is likely to be in the night time.

Hope everyone is ok.

Maybe you can get slightly excited. I've just had a big show and have bad back pain.
Not good timing as DH is at work in a big meeting where we think alot of staff are being laid off.

Also I haven't shaved my legs or armpits for a couple of days. Now going to struggle up the stairs to try and do them.

LaSparklyTourEiffel · 12/12/2008 07:59

Ooooh Kay - I'm excited! And at home on sick leave so don't you dare stop posting

LaSparklyTourEiffel · 12/12/2008 08:03

My show arrived four days before DS, though this is your second so will be much quicker....

kayzisexpecting · 12/12/2008 08:03

Hello,
How are you? I hope you are relaxing and not doing too much!!

I was beginning to think I was all alone today. No one on here and no one has been on the Due Dec thread either.

DS won't let me dress him at all and if it is labour my mum will need to come pick him up and he is only in a nappy. I just don't have the energy to chase him.

LaSparklyTourEiffel · 12/12/2008 08:08

I wouldn't worry about DS at all, if you are in labour your mum will be only too pleased to regale stories of how she had to pick up a naked DS!

He'll get dressed when he needs to, don't exert yourself fighting it! You need to conserve energy

I am OK, feel like I've been beaten up, I was constipated for a few days (Sun - Yesterday and have a very surpressed diet but things seem to be heading in the right direction now

I've been in bed all week, when I got home on Tuesday i didn't go downstairs till yesterday lunchtime...

I've just been tucked up in bed with tv, dvd's, iplayer and of course, mnet. I haven't been posting but I'm fully up to date!

kayzisexpecting · 12/12/2008 08:12

I am having contractions now.

I don't know if I should ring DH. He is at a really important meeting where he might get laid off. It just wouldn't look good if he got up and walked out.

tinkisabigpinksparklybauble · 12/12/2008 08:26

i would ring him kay ohh i am really excited sounds good it is better to have him there encase baby comes quickly

hi latour gr8 name sounds like you are recovering well

largeginandtonic · 12/12/2008 08:35

Oooooh Kay

Fingers crossed for you my lovely, i know the frustration at waiting for it all to happen. I will be a bit miffed if you do it today i had the 14th down Will let you off though.

kayzisexpecting · 12/12/2008 08:41

Just told him to come home.

On a good note though

HE HASN'T LOST HIS JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are just going to work 4 days instead of 5!!!!!!

storkycake · 12/12/2008 09:08

I made chocolate brownies at 10.30pm last night, anyone want one?

Notice the festive plate said brownies are stacked on

Can anyone knit? It feels like someone should be knitting....

Morning everyone btw! Hello Latour glad to hear you're on the mend

LaSparklyTourEiffel · 12/12/2008 09:14

Hi Storky - can I have a chocolate brownie

hmmmm may have to venture downstairs and break out a cup of tea and some biscuits now

Kay - how are you doing now?

storkycake · 12/12/2008 09:17

Ooh it's been a little while since she last posted, all that back pain will have done most of the work, I bet she's "gawn off like a rocket!"

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 12/12/2008 09:18

Morning- Kay's been keeping me up to date on texts... up until around the time of her last post actually... i'm thinking maybe her DH has come home now... or maybe its well and truely kicked off!!

Her contractions were about 4mins apart... and she was crawling round on the floor trying to pack her DS a bag!!!!

Hopefully this is it!!

storky i'll have a brownie ta, plate is lovely too!! can't knit but can think baby thoguhts for Kay!!

LaTour- hello!!! glad to hear your milking it for all its worth!! Make the most of it!!

You know what?? I think its the welcome wagon thats made babyKay wanna come!!

OP posts:
Starshinetiger · 12/12/2008 09:19

GruffaloSoldier · 12/12/2008 09:21
