Morning all,

NJ - hope the your kidneys behave themselves and there's no more hospital visits pre-Xmas. Good luck with Tescos tonight - you are a braver woman than me! With this bloody nausea, me and supermarkets really don't mix at the moment. Think I need to get back into online shopping in the New Year.

Kay - glad to hear things are improving for you. Sounds like you are doing a fab job and thanks for the picture - he is very cute

Bump has really popped out this week. So much for carrying small... Really shows I guess as I am only 5.2.

Only today and tomorrow left at work thank goodness!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 22/12/2008 08:54

Morning Cosmo, hoorah for nearly the xmas break

I feel the supermarket/nausea thing, I spent the whole of DS2's pregnancy not being able to stand the look/smell/anything of raw meat, I had to completely ignore the fresh meat aisle, couldn't even pick it up to pack it at the checkout, DH had to hide it in carrier bags in the fridge, and I couldn't even let him prepare it at home with the kitchen door open! So I can imagine how hard it must be when it could be anything that starts you off!

We still have a hospital appt. tomorrow for another trace, but am keeping fingers crossed that the water flushing through me will be enough to ward off any unplanned hospital trips! I have tried to get a doc appt. today but they don't have any left so it will be the hospital if we have to go. I've no temp and we are heading into town today and it doesn't fill me with dread so I must be feeling OK! Just hope it lasts!

kayzr · 22/12/2008 08:54

Morning,

No I didn't tell her where to stick it. It should have been the last time I will see her. They are coming today as I can't be bothered with them and I need to go out. So they are coming tomorrow and it should be my normal MW again.

Hope nothing happens with your kidneys today. It bloody hurts doesn't it. I'm really not jealous of you having to go shopping. I am so happy we are going to mums. I am tempted to maybe do xmas dinner myself one year.

I am so excited about Xmas now. I haven't really had chance to before now. What with being pg, having DS2 and then this last week worrying about his weight. Now I can feel xmassy!!!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 22/12/2008 08:59

Morning Kay

It does all of a sudden feel all xmassy, maybe it is DS1 being off school.

It was bloody hurting last night, but no where near as bad this morning. Trouble is it hurts more if you take a deep breath, but the first thing you do when something hurts is take a deep breath, so you end up just having a bit of a sigh, catching them, it hurts so you breathe deeply and it hurts even more! Grrrr!

Are you doing anything exciting today?

RuDiegetheRedNosedReinDiege · 22/12/2008 09:06

Hello! Back in the land of the living (dead). I am going to be cheeky and ask for a summary of what has been going on on the wagon front, as a week is a lifetime in wagon time! Many congrats to KAYZ(I got that bit) - you must feel so relieved that he is finally here! And what a great weight (ouch!); many, many congrats to you and your family .
I am ok, and slowly recovering. It was quite scary going through the whole menigitus thing, lumber puncture etc (will never complain about epidural again)and of course I was worried about the bean the whole time. Have been feeling stronger movements these past few days though, which is very reassuring, and they say there shouldn;t have been any lasting effects on pregnancy. So am attemtping first day out today - will pop into town for a few last minute bits etc. Sickness is very nearly gone - yipee!!!Only the retching now as things like curry smells in kitchen (thanks dh but I can breath through and manage not to puke. 14 weeks now!
Looking forward to getting back into wagon swing - apologies for me post - look forward to update!!!

kayzr · 22/12/2008 09:18

Hello Diege!!!! Good to see you and glad you feel better now.

Nothing exciting Nat, Just need to go to the market to get all the xmas cards. I have forgotten to post Dads present. I completely forgot to give it to him when he was here

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 22/12/2008 09:21

Diege! Welcome back sweetie Sounds like you've really been through the mill, fingers crossed for a quiet and uneventful xmas (ha! that'll be the day hey?!)

I've not been much good at keeping up myself so not sure how good any catch up from me will be but I'll give it a go....

You've obviously seen Kay's news, Teuch also had a little boy must be two weeks ago now, no more details than that at the moment.

There has been lots of shopping as ever.

Tink's little monkey is transverse so she's facing a possible CS in January.

LaTour's operation went well, healing well, and they've buggered off for xmas break so she'll be away for a while.

Sorky has a couple of issues going on with a possible small baby, think her scan is today or tomorrow, hopefully she'll get some answers.

Erm.... I can't remember anything else, various people have been down with colds, and flus, and other general nasty bugs, in fact I think we've all had one thing or another these last couple of weeks.

I have some on going issues, the baby hasn't really put any weight on for the last month, and my waters are too low, but we don't know if it is a problem with the baby or the fact that I've been ill with one thing after another, They are inducing me on Boxing Day. The last trace showed the babies HB was too fast again, have another trace booked for tomorrow, I am really really really hoping they don't decide he's had enough and bring the induction forward, obviously if that's best for him then so be it, but after missing DS2's bday I really don't want to miss xmas as well. Also, he is likely to need some special care once he's born, so we're going to be hospital for longer than usual, really don't want to face all of that before xmas.

Other than all of that, I think we're all plodding along at the moment, everyone is running round doing the last minute xmas things, no one has mentioned new years eve, maybe because the alcohol isn't going to be flowing quite as freely?! There has been plenty of wispa munching, and fights over Ses's mars bars, same old same old...

SesHasnearlyreachedhalfway · 22/12/2008 09:21

Quick post just to say hi and welcome back Diege and Kay - 5oz in 48 hrs sounds v impressive!

Must fly as hoping to visit 5 stores today!!

kayzr · 22/12/2008 09:24

Teuch's little boy is gorgeous!!!!!!!! She is on my Facebook and he is just lovely.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 22/12/2008 09:24

Cor, so much for not being around enough to do a decent catch up!! LOL

Morning Tink Hope you get the last few bits and the jigsaw sorted DS1 wears a basic school uniform, grey trousers, 'gold' polo shirt (looks yellow to me, but the school insist it is golden ) and blue jumper with the school emblem thingy on it. No silly ties or proper shirts thank god, I think I'd have a fit having to iron them!

RuDiegetheRedNosedReinDiege · 22/12/2008 09:37

Wow what a great round-up NAT . Feel up to speed now. Fingers crossed for you - I see from other thread that induction is planned for later in the week?? Really hope you can have a peaceful Christmas beforehand and that you kidneys behave themselves..
TINK, primary uniform here is royal blue school sweatshirt, pale blue polo shirt, grey skirt/trousers. Like NAT no silly ties shirts until they go to junior school at 7.
Think I may have another IO splurge...There stuff looks so great on (if I say so myself)and my logic is the sooner I get it the more wear I get out of it! I also need a pair of jeans desperately, so may see what I can find in town today - I really resent getting them taken up, so may have a look at Red Herring range that caters for short arses. I am just so grateful to feel well again!

RuDiegetheRedNosedReinDiege · 22/12/2008 09:38

Their stuff - sorry, I couldn't let that pass!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 22/12/2008 09:48

Morning Ses Busy day!

Oh Kay, she is on mine as well, but I don't know how to do FB will try and find it in a min!

Diege, RH are great for us short arses! And I deffo agree getting the clothes sooner is better, will never understand why people buy in the next size up, and then buy either another size up or maternity, nothing fits right if it's just a bigger size, and you end up needing maternity at some point anyway.

kayzr · 22/12/2008 09:54

Nat, her intials are JM.

I've ordered DH a present which is being delivered today. It will be in a bag or something won't it? He is staying in with the boys while I go get the xmas cards.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 22/12/2008 10:01

LOL Kay, was just about to come and ask what her initials were, but found her! Awwww a lickle baby! And is that a pub in the third photo????? and

I'd have thought the pressie will be in a bag, they normally are. Even things that don't need covering have been covered that have been delivered here in the last month, I guess they are aware that a lot of it will be for xmas.

When mum was here while I was in hospital, she took DS1 to town, came back saying I was to expect a parcel, and it wasn't to be opened till xmas day, two big boxes in bags arrived last week, from Tesco (???? there is no Tesco in town so how she's got something from there I've no idea?) and DS1 has put them in his room, I have absolutely no idea what they are, but it is driving me crazy knowing they are there! LOL I keep asking DS1 questions about them trying to trip him up but he is getting clever in his old age and just looks at me with his eyebrows raised as if to say "you think I'm silly enough to fall into your trap?" LOL

kayzr · 22/12/2008 10:14

Could she have gone to the library to use the internet maybe?

I tried to trick DH into telling me where my xmas presents are. He said when I came downstairs the other day "I'm surprised you didn't go and look at your presents" So I said "Where are they?" hoping he would say but he didn't.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 22/12/2008 10:21

Nope, mum doesn't do the internet, in fact the very thought of her at a computer puts the willies into me, I think she'd be scared for life! LOL

It's made worse because DS1 thought it would be good to cut 'handles' into the bags, so not only are they both sat there, but they have big holes in, and as much as I am itching to go and have a peak, I can't do it to him! Bloody kids

Right, I am going to go and open the curtains , get in the shower and get the kids ready and get into town, they both need their hair cutting and depending on how DS2 is behaving I might get a quick trim myself, my fringe is in my eyes, very annoying!

See you all later xxx

RuDiegetheRedNosedReinDiege · 22/12/2008 10:32

Ha NAT I bet your mum has been secretly doing a computer course and will amaze you over the coming weeks with her internet shopping prowess .
KAYZ, I will also investigate facebook - I am very slack - keep forgetting it's there!
Well I did place an order with IO - got sweater dress, cami set, tights and ruched top. With the other things I have from there, plus jeans, I should be set now for winter. Bump has really popped out now and the old hairband on button trick doesn't touch it. Must go out today as IO are delivering tomorrow - some special express offer thing. Right, must also open curtains here and get dressed

lastboxoftampons · 22/12/2008 11:13

Hello all:

Nat so funny about your mother's shopping! Funny how parents never outgrow surprising their children and children never outgrow being surprised! Very sweet of her!

diege HI! My what an ordeal you've been through! Glad to hear you're feeling better - and go nuts on IO, you deserve it! (PS: Not sure if you were on early last week, but I had a scan last Tuesday and all is looking well! 9+3 today)

Kay Well done on the weight gain!

RuDiegetheRedNosedReinDiege · 22/12/2008 11:16

Oh wow LBOX that's brilliant news about your scan . You must be so relieved . How are you feeling now? Still feeling nauseaus?
Well I am still not dressed, so thinking I'll have lunch at home then head out...

tinkisabigpinksparklybauble · 22/12/2008 11:21

hi

popped in sainsburys it is dangerous in there
they have 2 many good toys in there
swapped dds puzzle and bought a scrabble floor puzzle going to save it for xmas day should keep her occupied you put the 49 big puzzle pieces together then you have letter tiles to make words on the puzzle.
also got her playmobile figure set with girls food and goats, cleaning set so cute little dustpan and brush, squirty cleaner, sponge and bowl and a basket of tins and packets to go with her till.
managed to get last food bits. just need my iron sachets and prescription then all set.
sainsburys wasnt too busy!!
i am starting to get tired shopping now cant walk around for more than 5-10 mins without feeling really tired.
mum should be here soon she is going to finish painting dds walls just has 2 to go

lastboxoftampons · 22/12/2008 11:27

YIKES - Tink, you're brave about Sainsbury's! You're all scaring me a bit actually - I need to go to Oxford Circus at lunch time for a few bits and pieces

Thanks Diege Still feeling slightly nauseous, but strangely happens mostly during the week. Maybe because I'm more preoccupied on the weekends instead of sitting at my desk trying to concentrate on work but constantly thinking OMG, I'm going to have a baby Also get up later during the weekend so maybe that's it (I'm really not a morning person! ) Needless to say, it makes for worrisome weekends and I don't stop freaking out until I'm on the train on Monday thinking Oh, I don't feel so good!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 22/12/2008 13:25

Sorry Lbox, seems like ages ago your scan Bet I've forgotten a load of other stuff as well... sorry in advance everyone

Tink, good going at Sainsburys, glad it wasn't too busy!

Diege, she is actually saying she is going to do a computer course next year - feel sorry for whatever computer she uses, this is the woman who can't even work the telly remote (I am not kidding!) LOL Bless her

Well our plans have gone out the window, went upstairs to get ready after my last post, left DS1 watching telly, and DS2 in his highchair with some toys, thought I'd check the babies HB while they were quiet... woke up about half an hour ago with DS1 saying he's bored and am I getting up now? I'd not heard a peep out of them, came down DS2 still playing with his Rory car and DS1 had obviously been playing around because the room was upside down, but never mind! Tis a good job DS1 is old enough to know if something is wrong and to come and get me!

Only thing is, I've woken up with more pain in my kidneys, a sore throat/tongue/gums (), and a headache... when am I going to get a day, just one day, when I feel actually healthy and well?! I am scared if it get's any worse it's going to effect the induction in one way or another, I really don't want it bringing forward due to xmas, but at the same time, I don't want it delayed because I don't think he is very happy in there, and the longer it's delayed the more chance I have of picking up the next sodding bug. I am sure my body has just had enough and that is what is behind all of this illness and crapiness, and him not growing, it is like it's just giving up.

Sorry, moan moan moan...
