kay will definetly have a chuckle when she reads this

Cosmogirl · 12/12/2008 18:37

Feeling nauseous and crappy so have retired to my bed already - but with laptop in case Kay checks in...hope everything is ok.

Couldn't face savoury food so had a double decker for dinner.....

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 12/12/2008 18:39

Hope your feeling better soon Cosmo...

Am sure we will all be lurking tonight!

Cosmogirl · 12/12/2008 18:42

Thanks GYo. Just feeling a bit glum with the nausea tonight. All I need is a birth announcement to cheer me up

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 12/12/2008 18:42

Mmmm am liking double deckers for dinner! Can I come for tea please Cosmo?!

Oh, and in all of the excitment, I forgot to tell you all.... the bookcase is in the country, and better than that, it will be in my house on Tuesday! Only, we have the scan on Tuesday as well... we think MIL is coming to sit with DS2 while we're at the hospital so she should be here, if not, I don't know TBH, Boori say they aren't delivering up here again until after xmas...

largeginandtonic · 12/12/2008 18:52

She could have been 3-4 and niggly, it takes a few hours for labour to establish sometimes.

Hopefully it is just taking it's time and she is still plodding the stairs to get it shifting.

When i had dd at home she was OP (back to back) the pains started at 530am it was 1030 before i really thought this is it and dd was not born until 840pm that evening.

Fingers crossed you are ok Kay, keep going sweetie. Lots of love. Will be checking in for an update when i return (am out for toddler Xmas meal)

kookykid · 12/12/2008 18:57

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh! No baby yet then???

Hope everything is OK. Will have to check back repeatedly this evening! Was there ever such an anticipated arrival?

LaTour - just about to check and post on the AN thread - see you there!

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 12/12/2008 19:28

we were all wishing tiny babies for her!! i'm sure she'll apreciate the gesture!!

OP posts:
SesHasnearlyreachedhalfway · 12/12/2008 19:28

Don't think anyone went 9lb or above! I think tink had the largest weight so she was nearest on that!
(Yay I fluked won at the time guess!)

Cosmogirl · 12/12/2008 19:30

She will have to enlighten us as to whether it is true that it's easier to birth larger babies than smaller ones!

Playingthe9monthwait · 12/12/2008 19:30

Right, I can go and get myself some supper now

DH is away tonight on his staff do, I am very tempted to ring him and tell him that Kay has had her baby. Feel like I've got to share the joy with someone, but maybe that is one step too far!

I am so happy, our first wagon baby has arrived safe and sound!

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 12/12/2008 19:36

i read the text and loudly shouted 'yeah'... DH looked up from his DS and said 'what'.....

OP posts:
glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 12/12/2008 19:37

i'm now wondering if she managed it at home, what she managed on pain relief-wise etc etc!! dont want to text her so soon.... will hold off till morning!!
