what did she say Glask?

By the way we are now on page 11!

SesHasnearlyreachedhalfway · 12/12/2008 17:13

So my page 10 estimate was wrong then!

Glask - hope you manage to find the right words with your sister and hope she listens...

tinkisabigpinksparklybauble · 12/12/2008 17:15

tumbleweed tumbleweed tumbleweed
where is baby kay

2beautifulgalsandasnowglobe · 12/12/2008 17:16

Still no news

Hopefully he is here now and they are busy celebrating in RL to think about us wagoners.
wasn't her DS1 really fast like 4 hours?

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 12/12/2008 17:18

she's deniying her FB status was written by her really... says she never said she was going out on the P*.... deniying all the times in the past that i've heard she's been seen out drunk etc... some texts of hers have been seen saying she'd been drunk and fallen down a hill... like she was bragging about it!!

argh!! i just wanna slap her and make her grow up!!

OP posts:
glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 12/12/2008 17:20

now she's trying to justify it by saying her midwife said a glass of wine a week is 'healthy' and that other people take drugs, smoke and drink heavily while pregnant and their kids are fine.... she wont be saying that if her drink causes harm to her daughter!!!!

OP posts:
SesHasnearlyreachedhalfway · 12/12/2008 17:24

It's really difficult Glask - think you've done all you can. I understand though your concern for her and her unborn child.

I only know one of my friends that drank regularly throughout the pregnancy and smoked (cut down from about 30 a day to about 30 a week). Her daughter was v small when born although she's fine now.

I'm hoping Kay is ok and not had to transfer to hospital or anything. I guess we all will have to get used to this waiting lark. By the time it gets round to my turn in May, you'll probably leave it at least 8 hours before checking in again!

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 12/12/2008 17:26

by may lots of us will ahve babies.... thats too scary to think about!!!

Evening, still nothing? tut tut tut....

Glask, I'm sure you already know this, but there really isn't anything you can do but be there when/if she needed you to be, t'is the problem with family. I'd put lots of money on the fact that she know's the harm she could be doing, and if that isn't enough to stop her then frankly not much else would. If it helps you ease any, they do say now that you need copious amounts of alcohol to have any lasting serious effect, I'm talking a bottle of vodka a day here, not a piss up on a Saturday night (though obviously that doesn't mean go get pissed tomorrow!)

Well I have gutted and cleaned up stairs, put the babies room back together (mum was sleeping in there in the trundle thing that goes under DS1's bed so it was all upside down) have finally unpacked my bag from the hospital but now need to pack it back up for the birth - again, though I am going to wait till Tuesday because there will be slightly different things needed for a CS I think, maybe, not sure....??? LaTour???

Oh and I am going to pinch the 6.30 slot please, if it's not been taken already while I wrote this!

SesHasnearlyreachedhalfway · 12/12/2008 17:29

DH has just phoned. He's delayed in traffic. I told him I'm waiting for Kay's announcement. He was amazed that she posted when going into labour so I told him it was a HB to soften the shock.
He said in that case she should have the webcam going!!!!
Don't worry Kay, I think we're alright without.

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 12/12/2008 17:38

ooh- Ses- i'm thinking now.... could i birth in the living room with a live webcam just for wagoners????

OP posts:
SesHasnearlyreachedhalfway · 12/12/2008 17:39

DH is still on the phone and is pleased you like his idea
He's bored in his traffic jam.

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 12/12/2008 17:40

haha!! only wagoners though... no wagon DH's- dont want them seeing my lady bits!!

OP posts:
GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 12/12/2008 17:42

Ho Hum.. going to have to keep refresshing all evening to see whats going on....

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 12/12/2008 17:43

still no news from kay- DH is on his way home so i'm off to make a stir fry... will be back asap if kay texts!!

OP posts:
GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 12/12/2008 17:44

My laptop has a built in webcam thing. Can use it as my picture on MSN... how about that for live birth feed?

SesHasnearlyreachedhalfway · 12/12/2008 17:44

Too right!!

He'll be home in a minute and wants me to give him a lift to Gatwick so I could be out for about 45mins to an hour!!! Glask - will you be on text alert for me when I go?!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 12/12/2008 17:46

TBH I think if she was 3-4cm this morning, if she hasn't had him by now, then I think it is most likely she's had to tranfer for something or other. Obviously fingers crossed she's not had to and is just too busy snuffling him to worry about us!

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 12/12/2008 17:49

Kays going to have some entertainment reading all this stuff when she's recovered... 10+ pages of wagoners getting excited about the birth...

I can do texting if Glask cant? let me know...

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 12/12/2008 17:52

im on [email protected]

SesHasnearlyreachedhalfway · 12/12/2008 17:59

GYo - I'm just off out and have emailed you my mobile no. in case.

Catch you all later!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 12/12/2008 18:01

Would love to help out with the texting but I have gone so far over my mins/texts this month I am honestly too worried to look how much my bill is going to be! LOL

This is from someone that would normally use 10-20% max of my contracted mins and texts, so I don't even know how much a text is costing me, or how much they are charging for my calls, don't think I have ever gone over in all the years we've been on contracts!

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 12/12/2008 18:08

Mental note when Im in labour to have hotline to wagon.

Wonder if DH will oblige with updates - if we are doing at home.... will have a think...

storkycake · 12/12/2008 18:25

Hmm, I think she might have transferred ya know.
Gin, what do you think? 10 hours for a HB seems a long time to me.

Wonder if it got a bit much for her?

I'm back from the chiro and fixed again thanks Gyo.

LaTour mine's a macbook, perhaps it makes a difference.

Glask your sister sounds foolish, but it's her body unfortunately. Doesn't make it any less maddening though does it?
Oh and no offense but I don't really wanna see your lady bits either

Well we are going to have to have an action plan for Wagon updates in future aren't we?
This can't be allowed to happen again

Having Chinese food tonight, yum!

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 12/12/2008 18:32

Would the transfer be to the local hosp today or Scarborough.. cant remember what she'd said....
