Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
detsy · 26/11/2008 22:33

Hmm Tayside is a bit of a way for Sat coffee then - glad you have a cheshire sense of humour tho

Ah bless your DD for thinking your bean was out shopping - maybe it is another girl tho!!

Have a lovely time in London - what you doing there then?

FiKelly · 26/11/2008 22:34

watching the new episode of heroes on bbc3 still not sure what I think of this series...

FiKelly · 26/11/2008 22:36

I wonder if DS will climb out of his cotbed again tomorrow am and actually figure out how to open the door? my wake up call may be a patter of tiny feet followed by being pounced on in bed!

detsy · 26/11/2008 22:37

I love the bee a lot and so does DD. The only problem i can foresee with it is that it does appear quite small and can't see it lasting till 4 years old. Mind you don't think DD will be "buggified" then - think she'll be off on her little fat piddies.

You can get nests for the bee for newborns which are very padded and lovely. DD sleeps in her bee all the time when she's in it so she must find it comfy I guess.

Liked my Quinny to start with but very big and heavy and wheels get jammed on shiny floors for some bizarre reason

detsy · 26/11/2008 22:40

Fi so the fun has started for you now! How old is DS (saves me looking it up on the list several pages back) I've been looking at the grobag duvet - think it looks like a great idea but will be a while before i need one of those. DD has only just started standing in her cot accompanied by "up mumum up"

detsy · 26/11/2008 22:41

Normally at bout 4am

frazzledoldbag34 · 26/11/2008 22:41

Flying to london with DH and pals for shopping on Sat, then a ball in the evening, shopping on Sun then a concert on Sun night. Fly back Monday. Can't wait.

detsy am a nosy cow so just had a peek at your profile - your pics are lovely........and your little DD is gorgeous. Sorry, I don't have a profile (haven't the first idea of how to create one either)!

Am defintely off to bed now though. Big scary meeting tomorrow

Night night ladies.

FiKelly · 26/11/2008 22:41

I too love my bugaboo chameleon... going to get a buggy board or side seat attachment for DS when we convert it back to basinette mode for #2

detsy · 26/11/2008 22:42

Don't like Heroes or celeb or x factor (maybe am a bit weird) Like x factor at the very beginning tho. Am loving the sitcom outnumbered - think that will be me and DP in a few short years

FiKelly · 26/11/2008 22:44

detsy DS is 2 & 1/4... we've been really lucky he'd not figured it out earlier. We've had the drop side of the cot in dropped down postition for a while just incase... and he's been climbing in no problem... just getting stuck when in there!

detsy · 26/11/2008 22:45

sounds like a fab weekend Frazz

Thanks for comments about pics x Good luck for meet tomo

Fi side seat attachment - tell me more - do they work for the bee as well??

frazzledoldbag34 · 26/11/2008 22:45

fi - I used to be addicted to Heroes (was known to watch 5 episodes in an evening but haven't watched any lately.......would you recommend ?
Am still waiting for DD2 to climb out of her cot - she's usually content to sit there throwing dummies on the floor and reading her books (in gibberish language obviously). I quite like her being 'contained' and am not looking forward to her being 'on the loose'. She's a hazard!

AM GOING TO BED NOW. SOMEBODY PLEASE STOP ME TALKING!

SpangleMaker · 26/11/2008 22:45

detsy the bee sounds really good. You've practically persuaded me already And since baby's grandad & step-grandma have kindly donated some cash I don't feel too bad about getting a posh one.

Would you be ok with Macc? only I'm a bit crap and don't know Sandbach at all (although I've clocked the Waitrose ) though I should probably expand my horizons! There's Caffe Nero & Costa in Macc which should be buggy-friendly.

Righty-ho, better get off to bed - up at 6 tomorrow, grr.

FiKelly · 26/11/2008 22:46

I'm not into celeb/xfactor either but I am a bit of a science fiction/fanstasy fan.

FiKelly · 26/11/2008 22:48

oooh seat thingy looks good... sure it'll work on the bee too... (busy hunting through my hundreds of bookmarked pages)

frazzledoldbag34 · 26/11/2008 22:48

ooh yes, bugaboo board or side seat. Tell me MORE TOO. DD2 will be 2.5 so something like that would be fab so the new baby can go in the carrycot bit.

Thanks detsy . Night.

SpangleMaker · 26/11/2008 22:49

Bloody hell abou 6 posts appeared while I was typing my last one - we do talk! Do you realise we're 20% through this thread already?!

frazzled good luck with your scary meeting tomorrow. I had one today, which went fine. More meetings tomorrow & training course & exam on Friday - boo.

FiKelly · 26/11/2008 22:50

ahhh here's a link showing it.... its called the bibi swiss strolli

frazzledoldbag34 · 26/11/2008 22:51

I like Strictly, but not anything else like X-factor etc
(well, i quite like the auditions at the beginning but bored by the actual competition!)
My girls and I watch Strictly every Saturday night and dance on the rug. it's quite a sight.

NIGHT ALL

FiKelly · 26/11/2008 22:52

night frazzle

frazzledoldbag34 · 26/11/2008 22:53

FiKelly · 26/11/2008 22:54

I really must head off to bed too but I also just can't seem to hit the off button!!

detsy · 26/11/2008 22:56

Oh just had a look - very interesting - unsure tho if an 18 month old would hang on well enough?? Anyway have stored in favourites for future ref - thanks Fi

I think I may go to bed now too - was mega late this morning - into office at 10 ish - I take liberties as boss is based in London - oh dear bad girl.

FiKelly · 26/11/2008 22:59

ok I'll take a deep breath and gather up the will power to turn the laptop off sleep well everyone and no doubt see you back on tomorrow!

detsy · 26/11/2008 23:00

Night girls - sleep tight xx We should arrange a get together for all the regular chatters - in the middle of the country somewhere (Sandbach is good.. :O) No seriously the midlands maybe???

Oh Spangle sorry didn't reply before - Macc is fine by me - lets talk tomo on here to organise, swop mobiles etc

Right def off to bed
