effie - please can you add me to the email list too? I'm [email protected]
Thankyou!

oh and Beans I have little skin tags on armpits and boobarellas which I'm trying very hard not to play with and pick off! Do they go when you stop being preg? I don't remember them from last time. I asked my GP about my weird chest lump and it is my xiphisternum being pushed right up by my bump, and I mentioned my weird new face mole...have to take a pic of it then go back after the baby's been born for another check. Still not had the guts to mention my piles tho!!!!!

Veggiemummy · 28/11/2008 19:20

i had loads of skin tags last time but hardly any this time. they did go away last time. However my nipples have gotten even darker, they are nearly black, look very weird.

Trace i couldn't bring myself to ask GP about heamorrhoids because i was scared he would want to look, and i don't mind him looking at them but i thought as it is close to my other area he might catch a glimpse of what must not be a pretty sight later. I think i am a little..um..engorged down there, is that possible.

traceface · 28/11/2008 19:23

I feel like that too - all a bit well perfused and bulging! I just keep reminding myself that this it what MWs look at all day every day and they will not recoil in horror when they see mine...(at least I hope not!)

Veggiemummy · 28/11/2008 19:30

i know i'm sure this didnt happen last time. I like that i now know my MW so well but a little embarrassed about having to er get it out on the day. I know thats silly and she has probably seen worse but...well it can't bee nice, and that smell thing we were discussing earlier will it go on the day. I def didnt have that last time. What is going on with my body will it ever be the same again.

kayzisexpecting · 28/11/2008 19:32

I have loads of skin tags. I did have them with DS too but most of them went. The hardest thing is not picking at them. I'm really bad at picking at spots etc. I must get more willpower.

Welcome home Verso - what a horror having a power cut (but maybe cosy and romantic!). I hope everything is settling down well, that you are not too sore and most importantly you are enjoying lots of cuddles with your lovely new baby. Love the name by the way. Fab!

Veggiemummy · 28/11/2008 19:43

happy homecoming Verso, how weird there are ladies home with their bubbies while we are still talk bulgy bits & skin tags.

kayzisexpecting · 28/11/2008 19:48

Its only 2 days until December. Just think in about 6 weeks we should all have our babies.

Veggiemummy · 28/11/2008 19:53

oh my goodness it hasn't seemed that close yet but when December starts that means close.

Turniphead1 · 28/11/2008 19:57

I think there are only about two people they are waiting on on the Nov thread. I am torn between wanting my baby out and wenting it in (if you know what I mean...)

reban · 28/11/2008 20:00

hi all and a big welcome home to verso.
been very lucky, never had skin tags or piles (still time for them to appear, i know) but my pelvis floor is completely shot, final straw was my chest infection last week, constant coughing and sneezing was not good and was definately more than a little damp in the knicker region. Still i am hoping once ive pushed this one out i will be able to rectify the problem.

All the talk of strep b has got me slightly worried. Ive never been tested before but since i had my last baby i do know someone whose baby died as a result of the infection within 12 hours of birth. It wsa truly tragic and he was such a longed for baby as well, lots of conception problems and medical issues for mom, so him to be taken by something that was preventable was especially cruel. Anyway ive not thought about it for a while, until it was raised here but i will mention testing to my midwife at my next appointment on monday and see if i can get a test.

love to all and enjoy your friday night xx

chutneymary · 28/11/2008 20:00

Welcome home verso! Hope you are all doing well. Bad luck about the power cut, but well done for being online and chatting.

Veggie - sympathies on your downstairs. I daren't look at mine, but it doesn't feel, er, normal sized. I have a weird wateriness downstairs as well. I remember when my water went with DD1 it was spectacular so I know it's not that but it's not pleasant. I use lots of knicker liners, until monday of course when it's out with the house brick sized towels. I ran out last time and deployed my SIL to get some more. They were deemed such an embarrassing purchase that the shop assistant put them in 2 bags. Nuff said.

Now, I have a message for us all from Lady T. She is coming home tomorrow lunchtime and has been reading the board from time to time when she can. She writes, "could you please tell Veggie I was sad to hear about her cousin and send my special love to Pixsix, I hope things are improving. If I could send you all a huge and spoiling present I would. You have all been fabulous and reading everyone's posts while in hospital has been a great bringer of cheer. More from me over the weekend." What a lovely message .

Am off downstairs for a sherry in a minute. My weird navel pain was bothering me earlier but I rang the hospital and they said unless it moves near my CS scar I needed worry. SOdding uncomfortable though. Hope all are well and look forward to hearing more news over the weekend.

Lots of love.

traceface · 28/11/2008 20:05

chutney I'm assuming that your 2 uses of the word 'downstairs' in your last post are referring to very different things!!!!!

traceface LOL!!!
what a strange place that would be to apply sherry!

kayzisexpecting · 28/11/2008 20:08

I can hardly keep my eyes open tonight. I am so tempted to go to bed but I know I will be up at some stupid time if I do.

That is a lovely message from LadyT. Really looking forard to hearing her story soon.

Cat I love picking things too. One of my favourites (and its so bad because you really shouldn't) is getting wax out of baby's ears. It kind of sits there, on the edge, tempting you to pop your little finger in and get it out. I love squeezing other people's spots and things too...

Ewwwww!!!

My MIL will pull boogeys out of DS's nose. It make me sick.

Can I ask what people are planning to do about dummies?

DS never had one and I am really happy about it as I didn't want him to still be running round with it when he is 4. But now FSIDS say you should give babies dummies. I am really unsure about it.

Veggie my nether regions have also expanded I had a look the other day and they are quite frankly epic.

What a lovely message from LadyT, and am not sure if I responded to the email from pixsix but hope she is doing well after her tricky start. Verso lovely to have you back get the candles out and hunker down in bed with your lovely little bundle.

Turnip I know exactly how you feel. DP and I had the sudden realisation last night that we are going to have another baby in the next wk or two.

traceface · 28/11/2008 20:17

I just troughed a mahoosive takeaway pizza till I was uncomfortably full, then accidentally ate a fruit scone. Note to self - STOP EATING!!!!
