That's my dogs name
I think... something like Isabella

kayzisexpecting · 25/11/2008 19:28

Owwwwwww. The baby has his bum right up in my ribs tonight. It is so painful and I can't get comfy(even worse than earlier)

turnip keep those legs crossed until midnight!! I agree with carrying on as normal.

I might ask the baby to come tomorrow, I am sick of this and would like to meet the little man.

Ohhh fun! We re trying to guess ladyt's baby girls name!!

I'm gonna go with Amelia

Indith · 25/11/2008 19:36

Hurray for babies!

Rosmerta I'm on 3 a day too. Does seem a bit much but I had to have half an hour on the sofa before cooking dinner after putting ds to bed so I'm just going to take them!

Turnip good luck keeping your legs crossed Have a nice dinner.

Cat I put dh on a travel ban form 37 weeks so this is his last week away. Anything before that would be prem. Could do with him here this week though

Tsk at big mouthed MWs, daft women.

Clothes- I was back in pre-preg pretty quickly but found that I had trouble with tops as a size 8 doesn't really leave much space for norks . Must think about doing a bit of shopping before baby arrives to have a couple of suitable things to wear as I have nothing.

Baby playing silly buggers, seriously uncomfortable.

kayzisexpecting · 25/11/2008 19:38

My mind is having a complete blank. I just can't think of a name I think LadyT would like.

But I am going with Jennifer. Don't know why though.

OP posts:
Veggiemummy · 25/11/2008 19:39

Daisy, but that is mainly because i would love to call a girl that name.

kmp1 · 25/11/2008 19:40

I don't think there is any way in hell I'll be back in pre preg clothes very fast - mainly due to thighs and bum -- does a lot of that come off pretty quick? I mean does it come off there as fast as your tummy?

kayzisexpecting · 25/11/2008 19:50

I think thighs and bum are some of the easier places to lose weight from.

I'm sat on my birthing ball and I keep thinking I am going to fall off it. I don't have much balance.

Oh yes, me too, re babyt's name, I felt a bit guilty for guessing it ages ago, even though i accidentally thought it was a boy!!

I think she said that it was a really posh name, so I am going to go for...Felicity?? V posh but actually quite nice. .

Actually I think she said something about it being traditional English, been around for centuries???

SummerLightning · 25/11/2008 20:01

Found it, I am so nosey...She said...."I will just say it's been around since Roman times and leave it at that", she also told me no more guessing....
How about Ophelia??

Veggiemummy · 25/11/2008 20:02

Prudence, is that old english, or Elizabeth?

Kayz are you watching the game?

artichokes · 25/11/2008 20:03

Oooh, ooh - ages ago I thought BabyT might be a Cressida. I think LadyT mentioned it had Roman conotations and all I could think of was Cressida.

Turnip - all sounds very exciting for you! At this rate half of us will have popped before December even arrives.

I had some twinges earlier and almost got excited but they turned out to be wind .

chutneymary · 25/11/2008 20:05

Ladies - great news from Lady T. She has texted me to say that she had her daughter at 9am. She weighs 6lb 9oz and is called......

Octavia Poppy Alice!

Lady T said the birth went well, but they have had some trouble sorting out her pain post op so she is quite uncomfortable . However, she said that the baby was beautiful. I told her about Daisy's little boy and will text her now to tell her about Verso. Do we have a name?

Am looking forward to my bed tonight. Have my last day of child free leave tomorrow and am spending it...... at Tommy's, having all my pre op stuff done. Deep joy.

Fingers crossed you hang on til midnight Turnip. Am elephantine myself but not that bothered as I'll diet after christmas and feed loads. Jeans currently need sewed up with underground cables to stand the strain of my thighs. No one has weighed me since booking thank god, as I'd have to deck them if they did.

I wonder who will be next?

kayzisexpecting · 25/11/2008 20:05

Yes I am Veggie. I hope we win. But I am going to try to not get too excited. I don't want to miss any of it unless we are losing.

The baby feels like he has moved down slightly, maybe the ball is working.

kayzisexpecting · 25/11/2008 20:07

What a lovely name!!! Congratulations LadyT. I hope they sort out her pain soon.

I always feel so excited when I read there is a new baby.

OP posts:
Indith · 25/11/2008 20:07

lovely name. Congrats ladyt

artichokes · 25/11/2008 20:09

Congratulations to LadyT ! I hope your pain settles soon. Lovely name and a nice weight (wish mine was going to be that size).

waitinggirl · 25/11/2008 20:12

FANTASTIC NAME, LADYT. just snorted out loud at the fantastic delayed announcement from chutney - exactly the sort of thing i was expecting from her! lovely, lovely.

btw i think Verso's dd is called Frieda

chutneymary · 25/11/2008 20:18

Have just checked my email and see the correspondence from everyone about revealing details....

.... I hope it was OK for me to post Lady T's news on here. When we had lunch on Wed, she said she would let me know so that I could let everyone else know.... I didn't think to ask about the name etc. I am sure that she would not mind ladies on the thread knowing, but the internet is rather, er, public for the rest of the world. I know she was a little anxious a few weeks back when she posted identifying info about her late DH. I really don't want to add to her stress, esp as she's just got a wonderful new baby.

I feel bad now. Should I ask for my post to be deleted til I get the OK to reveal all from Lady T herself? I'll text her about verso in a min, but I am sure she's got more on her hands than texting back.....

Oh dear. Debrett's correct form didn't cover this one.

kmp1 · 25/11/2008 20:18

wow - that's going back! CONGRATS!! Cute names - we would never have guessed! Tiny baby!! Wish babyk was that size too

chutneymary · 25/11/2008 20:20

By the way, when my time comes I tend to tell people by blanket text - would anyone mind receiving one? I will of course text Lady T but as she'll have a 5 day old baby the internet may be the last thing on her mind.

If anyone is OK with being my contact, could you email me your number and I'll add you to the list. Many thanks

JamInMyWellies · 25/11/2008 20:25
