Hey all,

I'm so happy but gutted at the same time, i've just had my scan date thru
Except its for the 9th Jan which will make me 15 plus 3 days, how utterly pants is that!!!

Glask.. sorry for feeling so pants and the weeing thing, can't be nice for you!!

Kay.. hope your not blushing anymore!??

Kookykid.. congrats and welcome chick!!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 21/11/2008 14:31

HUGE CONGRATULATIONS KOOKY Well done

Glask, I am so sorry for how you're feeling, hopefully your lie down will help. Any news from your sister yet?

Lbot as others have said, it is totally normal for symptoms to come and go, really try not to worry, I know how much easier that is to say though. Just take everything as easy and slowly as you can, don't push yourself to do anything.

Kay, LOL at you flashing at him!

kayzisexpecting · 21/11/2008 14:32

Nope not blushing anymore. DH thinks its very funny.

I can't go into labour in the near future I have realised. I need my stuff from mothercare which I don't think will ever arrive.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 21/11/2008 14:33

Wilson, look on the bright side, at 15+ weeks you'll get some really clear pictures, and it'll only be a few weeks until your 20 week scan, so you won't have so long to wait, also if you want to know, and if you get a nice sonographer, they might be able to tell you sex then (don't get too excited though, mine wouldn't even look, so even if she could have seen it, she'd not have said!)

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 21/11/2008 14:34

Kay, did you ring them?

kayzisexpecting · 21/11/2008 14:35

I'm now going to. Its getting slightly annoying. There is a thing to track your order and I am expecting them to tell me to do that.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 21/11/2008 14:36

Can't you do it before you ring them?

kayzisexpecting · 21/11/2008 14:46

It doesn't really say anything useful.

MoD-reallocation

Whatever that means.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 21/11/2008 14:50

MINESTRY OF DEFENCE?

What on earth did you order???! Were there bombs in there?

kayzisexpecting · 21/11/2008 15:01

All I ordered was a nursing top, some xmas baby clothes and some maternity pads. Hardly explosive.

I just bloody rang them, was on hold for 8 minutes, they hung up!!!!!!!! Then when I rung back "Sorry the customer call centre is closed for staff training"

Diege · 21/11/2008 15:02

KOOKY that is brilliant news!!! . many congratulations!!! Due date please!!! Info' about how you tested/dh's reaction etc etc please

LOL at Kay's bombs . Does sound like a phone class is in order (make sure you're not being bugged ). LOL at boob flashing

GLASK, glad you are feeling a little better - All credit for continuing to mumsnet with eye!
I am going for a bath as I stink - I'm sure you can all smell me on the wagon!

kayzisexpecting · 21/11/2008 15:14

Everytime I hear a car door shut I think it could be my parcel. But no it never is!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 21/11/2008 15:23

Does the nursing top turn you into one of those robot women on Austin Powers with machine gun knockers?!

Actually when I rang about the furniture they cut me off, obviously not so clever with their customer service are they? Having said that, it's no surprise really, the staff in the shops are as rude and unhelpful as a cut off phone call.

kayzisexpecting · 21/11/2008 15:28

No I dont think it does. I could be wrong though.

The staff in the shop are bloody useless so no I'm not too surprised.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 21/11/2008 15:31

All you can do is keep trying to ring them, or wait it out, maybe email them?

kayzisexpecting · 21/11/2008 15:37

I have sent them and parcelnet e-mails. Mothercare's website says to contact parcelnet but wait for it

Parcelnet's website says to contact the retailers!!!!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 21/11/2008 15:43

Typical!

Can you search for a different phone number for them?

SesHashadafab12weekscan · 21/11/2008 15:49

Hey!!

Busy in store today but just had chance to pop on and
CONGRATS Kooky!!!!
Really pleased for you

Kay - can't believe the lack of service you're getting!

LBOT - I can sooo relate to your worries. Symptoms really do come and go even though I didn't believe it myself at 4, 5, 6 (etc) weeks!

Glaskham - sounds like you're having a horrible day. Hope you start to feel better and hope your sister is ok

Diege · 21/11/2008 15:49

Very for you KAY. I hadn't picked up on which shop it was before I saw in last post, but could have guessed, they have such a poor reputation.

kayzisexpecting · 21/11/2008 15:53

Ooooh I just rang them again and they had finished their training.

They don't know what is happening, but they said they would ring me back.

But Tiscali still haven't sorted out our broadband so we only have dial up. So I am going to have to disconnect.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 21/11/2008 15:58

Fingers crossed they'll ring back soon

Hiya Ses

tinkisallreadytositonthetree · 21/11/2008 16:45

wilson ye for scan date you will at least get a very clear pic

lbot it is horrible waiting in the early before you know it you will be really far along

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 21/11/2008 16:51

LOL Tink, "fingers crossed you'll get your bombs soon" LOL I bet we have been flagged up on so many international spies websites LOL How dissapointing when they find it's just a bunch of pregnant women talking about Mothercare?! LOL

I am going to be such a woman now and moan like merry hell because I have just broke a nail, it doesn't even hurt, but I had them all the same length/shape for the first time ever (naturally) and now it's gone and sodding broke I've put chips in the oven for the boys tonight (oven chips are better than hotdogs aren't they?!), I might have to pinch some!

tinkisallreadytositonthetree · 21/11/2008 17:07

hope nail isnt in the chips lol
lol @ being hunted by spies.
the kids round here dont seem to have anything better to do other than kick all our wheelie bins over

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 21/11/2008 17:11

Oh no, I caught the thing in the thing on the door thing.... No nail is not in the chips! LOL

Fill your bin with concrete, when they kick it, it'll hurt mwahhhaaaahaaahaaaaaaa, might ruin your bin though.
