Yup, I have a green Phil and Teds. You can get pannier bags but I dont like them.

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 19/11/2008 13:22

LG&T- defo finding out- beany is already being called a 'he' by me and DH... the kids say its a boy, and i feel 99.9% sure its a boy, i've had all the same sickness, hyperemesis, food cravings etc as i did with DS.... i'd make em double check if they said it was a girl- and i've been naughty and bought a couple of blue bits that were bargains!! (with the option to put on ebay if it is a girly)

Come on playing.... what is it?

largeginandtonic · 19/11/2008 13:22

Oh i LOVE that green P&t!

Will look at bags for you.

kayzisexpecting · 19/11/2008 13:23

HAHA!!! My latest magazine has 15% off Blooming Marvellous. Maybe I can have that bag.

Playingthe9monthwait · 19/11/2008 13:23

Oh LG&T, I do know I am having a little boy which is great

Glask - just reading your post made me tired, how do you find the energy?! And to say I have nothing is a lie, I do have quite a few bits, but I just haven't really been organised about it yet!

kayzisexpecting · 19/11/2008 13:26

I can't go into labour today! I haven't shaved my legs!!! He'll have to wait until at least tomorrow.

sorkycake · 19/11/2008 13:27

Afternoon everyone
nice to see ya.

I'm 28 weeks, measuring 25, but I think it's 'cos she's posterior lie. The little stinker is like an octopus at night, all arms and legs! There was a trace of something in my wee but no-one said what so who knows! Had bloods done.

She had no advice other than plenty of rest with elevated legs for my veiny foof , but I have her sympathies (so that's okay )
Tell me Kayz, could you have lain down during your work-shift to elevate your legs? Not entirely possible or socially appropriate really is it?
I've got a doctors appointment this afternoon because I've had enough of the pain/discomfort, so I think I'll ask to be signed off on the sick from Friday.
Friday will give me the time to tidy everything away and leave nothing for anyone else to do, then I intend to do what everyone is telling me and put my feet up & rest.

It's been a very hard decision to come to, but I can't see any other way to manage the pain atm.

I have nada prepared for this one LG&T, I keep meaning to get Dh to go in the loft and see what can be reused, but so far there's been so much else to do.

I have got their advent calendars sorted though and the Christmas shopping is all done. We have started the cards too.

Actually the Christmas decorations are in the loft and will be going up on Saturday the 6th so I suppose it would make sense to do the baby gear check then.

Okay I'm off to eat something....

largeginandtonic · 19/11/2008 13:29

Oh i do love little boys You lucky thing.

Any names for these babies yet?

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 19/11/2008 13:30

playing- i go to bed and i'm alseep before i've even got my PJ's on!!! And its not like the other 2 are making it easy atm... both full of colds, not sleeping too well.... but i'm coping!!

actually funny tale about my sleep last night... firstly, as my waist is expanding i'm finding it hard to sleep the way i normally do, so am tossing and turning with getting comfy in the night... then to top it off on monday i developed a bad blocked nose so am having to breath through my mouth, which is really drying out my lips and my tongue so i also keep waking because of need for water... THEN DH has a stinking cold and was coughing all through the night, everytime he did i woke up, AND THEN DH was talking loads in his sleep last night (which he doesn't normally do- i'm puttign it down to his restless sleep last night) and was trying to get my attention in his sleep to 'hand' me things.... luckily i was able to get out of bed this morning and seem pretty sane!!!

kayzisexpecting · 19/11/2008 13:33

No chance Sorky, think my boss would have looked at me like I was a blue spotty alien with 10 heads if I had asked that. You should get signed off, give yourself some rest.

We're calling our little boy Dylan, but we aren't 100% on the middle name. Its going to be Toby or George.

Is DD excited about not being the only girl LG&T?

Playingthe9monthwait · 19/11/2008 13:36

Oh well, I'm gonna get the silly overpriced bugaboo cameloen (however you spell it).

Mum bless her insisted in buying me a pram/pushchair and of course being Mum that meant it had to be like a real pram with a carrycot and light and easy to push for her and rear facing and of course not one of those "silly 3 wheelers" (as she has bad arthritis and quite strong views on what a pram should be). So that ruled out a lot of nice alternatives and she fell in love with the bugaboo and money is not an issue for her. I know that it should be me falling in love with it not her, but tbh the pushchair is fine, the big thing that puts me off (apart from the cost) is simply the fact that it is so fashionable therefore either revered or hated and I generally try to avoid fashionable things . I do not have strong enough feelings against it not to get and its her money so I'm not turning down a free pram. DH loves it too, so that was enough for me. I clearly do not care about the whole pram issue enough!

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 19/11/2008 13:37

mine will either be Oliver Andrew or Ruby Marie.... though the last week or so i've gone off ruby a bit because of how popular it's supposed to be... dont want a child who will be one of 6 in her class!!! I was one of £ in my clas and one of 8 in my year in High school!!

kayzisexpecting · 19/11/2008 13:38

I really like them Playing. I also love the Bugaboo Bee. If I didn't need a double I would have got one.

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 19/11/2008 13:40

I love all bugs Playing!! I wanted a bee, but the only reason we had a 3rd was because i'd agreed to DH that i'd buy all the bits and bobs we'd need used or as cheap as possible... Seeing as once the baby is born it'll not cost that much more to feed than the 2 we already feed, and it'll get hand-me-downs from the other 2 after 12mths too (as i passed everythign smaller on)

I'd agreed that i would buy a used cheap pram and found a lovely M&P 3-in-1 pram/pushchair for £50 locally on ebay!!

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 19/11/2008 13:41

snap Kayz!!

largeginandtonic · 19/11/2008 13:43

I like them Playing! A very good choice.

Lovely names!! We do not have one we are useless.

Sorky rest is the only way! I am supposed to be resting this week to avoid the early labour, tricky with a million children though.

Now playing what colour chameleon?

Playingthe9monthwait · 19/11/2008 13:43

Glask - I know exactly what you mean about the whole sleeping thing. I seem to have given up sleeping well now.

Hmm names, well I'm not going to decide on one name but narrow it down to 2 or 3 so we can choose the one that feels right when Fraggle is actually born. So far we are liking, Edward, George, Charlie, Harry, Henry, Elliot, umm sure there are a couple of other ones . Anyway I'm sure you get the idea.

tinkisallreadytositonthetree · 19/11/2008 13:45

how many weeks am i and how many to go

tink - 32 weeks only 8 weeks to go

Playingthe9monthwait · 19/11/2008 13:46

Well I do like them, I just don't like the status thing that goes with them. Feels a bit like conforming . Colour wise I haven't fully decided yet, there is so much choice!

largeginandtonic · 19/11/2008 13:47

how many weeks am i and how many to go

tink - 32 weeks only 8 weeks to go
Gin - 32 weeks 8 left!

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 19/11/2008 13:47

you seem tolike traditional sounding names Playing... bit like us... You see Ruby is getting a bit too modern for us now we think...DH likes Emma for a girly... and we also heard the name Lily... but as our name is Askham we think it sounds too close to Lily Allen...

Playingthe9monthwait · 19/11/2008 13:49

Hi Sorky, sorry didn't mean to ignore you. I think getting some time of sick might be the best plan.

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 19/11/2008 13:49

how many weeks am i and how many to go

tink - 32 weeks only 8 weeks to go
Gin - 32 weeks 8 left!
Glaskham - 18 weeks 22left to go......

However i'm 18+5 today so closer to 19 and never gone past 39wks so expect LO to arrive around 38-39wks... i could actually be about halfway if baby arrives at 38wks!!!!

kayzisexpecting · 19/11/2008 13:51

tink - 32 weeks only 8 weeks to go
Gin - 32 weeks 8 left!
Kayz - 37 weeks(well on Friday) only 3 weeks to go!!

Playingthe9monthwait · 19/11/2008 13:52

Yes, I do like traditional names. I really don't like anything too fashionable (there seems to be a theme here) and I also want the sort of name that will suit Fraggle whether he is a labourer/teacher/lawyer/PM if that makes any sense at all.
